Parking lot was a little cramped, but that's understandable due to the snow. I had a feeling I had been here before, but it was a different restaurant. Found out later that it was formerly Watami. I recognized the window view from the inside. Arrived a few minutes before our reservation, and we were seated right away at a cozy corner. The place had several tables occupied, and it looks like we got there at the right time. Drink and appetizer orders were taken, and we had a little time to look through the menu. A bottle of wine and a couple of cocktails came out and entree orders were taken promptly. I had looked it up ahead of time, and had my sights set on the Paella Valencia. We also got the Grilled Octopus (perfectly grilled and seasoned), empanadas which were smaller than I expected, but delicious (Might have been too much if they were bigger). we also had the seafood-stuffed jalapenos, and calamari for appetizers, and others in our party got the lamb chops, stuffed sole, and salmon for their mains. I finished my entire pot of paella, it was fantastic. I always like when the chef comes around to see firsthand how the guests are enjoying their meals, and Chef Nunez did just that. We came here on a Thursday night in December. The parking lot was jammed packed and chaotic. Oddly when we walked in the bar area and restaurant are upfront was pretty empty. Turns out there was a Christmas party happening in the back, must have been quite the rager. We were referred here by some locals that seemed to know most of the wait staff so that seemed promising. The drinks were average the food was SUPERB. We were a fairly large group (maybe), there were 8 of us. The food presentation was that of a high end restaurant, and it was definitely not my typical menu so that was a nice change of pace. Don't expect a Chilis menu or some other basic chain menu. One downfall, one of the dinners came out about twenty minutes after everyone else's. The manager took care of it which was the decent thing to do, maybe it was mixed into the party room, idk. Tom and his team hosted my wife's retirement party last night. Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we walked in the door until the end of the night. We got lots of positive feedback from our guests. Beautiful sunset on the deck, made for great pictures. The staff was attentive to all of our needs and the food was delicious. We went for the Flamingo dancers and music and wine tasting- dinner on Feb 21 , 2025 and the food was exquisite the wine wonderful and the entertainment was outstanding my husband and I had a wonderful time and we are ready to do it again . I went here for a fund raiser and was so happy to have discovered this place! The wait staff and our bartender were so awesome! They were friendly, accommodating and did a great job taking care of the large group of people in the room. We had the room in the back for this event, but as I walked through the place, I saw how cozy and inviting it looked. The bar area was packed, and I watched that bartender taking care of everyone, while making the most delicious looking drinks. The menu looks great here too, and the buffet at the event was awesome. They served chicken francaise, piaya, penne alla vodka and a beautiful salad, all delicious! I couldn't stay after the event, but from what I saw, this is definitely a place to check out, so I'll be doing that soon :-) I couldn't take pictures because of the event, but will definitely post them next time! read more

Okay gang here is an update of my previous 5 star review... since our last visit was so great we scheduled a party with La Buena for 50 people (an event that we had coming up)... we discussed our plans with Tom at the restaurant and he was eager to help anyway he could, meal planning-room setup-food and drink planning-music-decor... yup, the whole enchilada! The La Buena Team really performed, not a hitch... the room was beautifully setup, the food selection was fabulous and our guests loved it, the staff was friendly-efficient and professional... we asked the chef to come out and take a bow and it was a standing ovation... AND NOW THE BOTTOM LINE... the cost of the event was very, very reasonably priced... well within budget, no surprises and a complete success! If you have an event coming up give 'em a call... LBV is a cozy restaurant with a happening Bar scene....lotsa of happy folks embibing at the long,well stocked Bar next to the dining room. Our server was very amiable and remembered us from prior visit. We ordered cocktails; a Bombay Martini and a Grey Goose Martini..I am not fond of the low Martini glasses with no stalk which is what they use...Ladies had a Tequilla w/triple Sec and lime juice and a red wine. We were in the mood for a seafood Paella, so 3 of us ordered the Paella Marinara which was delish and one Shrimp ajillo. We had a wonderful time talking and enjoying our drinks and food. Great food. Great service Outside seating is awesome. During the summer we went every Tuesday for Taco Tuesday and the AMAZING Margaritas, the staff was so accommodating for our group of eight. There was no room at the bar, so they allowed use to sit outside and had the same happy hour deal and superb service. The mussels are amazing as well and don't get me started on the dessert. On a whim we pulled into the parking lot to try some place new. What a fabulous find. And as luck would have it, it was Sangria night. Unlimited Sangria for only $10.00 and it was the BEST. They offered a price fixed menu that was awesome. For starters we ordered the calamari, crisp and cooked perfectly. And I ordered the beef empanadas, two large empanadas that were delicious. For entree I had the paella, shrimp, mussels,clams, and scallops in Spanish rice . It was wonderful. So much food! My husband had the chicken and chorizo with yellow rice, also wonderful and huge portions. Both were served in pots. Absolutely amazing. Samantha the hostess was so welcome and pleasant when we walked in. And she was so attentive the whole time, with her big smile and fabulous hair. Niall was our waiter and he was incredible. I have a ton of ridiculous allergies and he and someone from the kitchen came out to check on absolutely everything. He had great wine and food suggestions too. No one was pushy at all. They have live music sometimes and check out their Instagram. They have a Halloween murder mystery planned for October 30th!! Pleasantly surprised. My wife and I dined here in May 5th. We order various appetizers including the artichokes, octopus and croquettes. All were amazingly delicious with a nice char flavor which I greatly enjoyed. We followed the aps with the Valencia paella which was very good and taste quiet authentic. Prices point was good. Can wait to return when the outdoor seating is open. As for things that can be enhanced/ improved. The restaurants should invest a little more on the wall decorations and art to give the place a warmer feel and more welcoming. If I recall correctly there is but 1 picture.
