Had a great time for their cinco de mayo event. Our waitress Colette was super attentive and having her around made the evening that much more special. This time I had the chicken enchiladas with the salsa verde. It came out piping hot and delicious! Their mango margarita was good too! We forgot to make a reservation so we waited at the bar until a table became available.

Enchilada trio. Beef, cheese, and chicken with rice and beans.

Best enchiladas in NY! Same recipes since the 90s. I always come back just for this. The menu is expansive with many types of Latin food as well. Not just Mexican.

Upon opening, I came to this Mexican spot to grab lunch with my family. The restaurant was currently empty so it felt like we were the first guest. I requested seating outside and was happy to choose a seating of my choice. The outdoor seating is very nice with umbrellas for shade. The indoor seating is nice as well but it was a lovely day to enjoy some air. The staff was very pleasant and we had very fast service. I ordered the chicken and rice (which I have never ordered at a restaurant before) while my family ordered the Churrasco. We were served chips and salsa for the table which was very delicious. The chicken and rice had a mix of many flavors. I didn't notice this dish came with sausage so I did put them to the side after trying one (not a huge fan of sausage). Additionally, The churrasco was cooked in a way I had never seen before. My family stated it was okay and not bad. The churrasco came with beans, rice and sweet plantain. I will definitely come back to this place. It was pretty quiet, great wait staff and fast service. Oh, lastly the drinks were delicious if you are a drinker. We got the mojito and the smoky sandia.

Visiting from out of town and we're referred from locals. Location is set back but easy to find. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area to eat and inside is very cozy and warm feeling. We were greeted with swarm hello. The staff were all very helpful. We started with peach margaritas that were amazing and complimentary chips and salsa that were so good. I ordered shrimp in garlic sauce, my hubby ordered pulled pork chimichanga. Both come with rice and beans. Everything was so fresh, tasty and seasoned to perfection. Definitely a great Mexican restaurant to eat at.

Good but a bit overpriced for the quality. I like this place and I would recommend it if you live local and want a change up from your Tuesday or Wednesday night dinner spot. Maybe you'd come here once every 8 months. I wouldn't make this spot a destination if you live far. If their prices were 20% lower, I'd say make this a regular early week dinner stop. Unfortunately, this isn't a Friday or Saturday night destination for me. For their price point, you'll find me dining at Besitos on a Friday or Saturday and feel I get the value there. Go ground beef enchilada over their chicken. Chicken was weird..

We were very happy with our experience and meal! The chips and salsa brought to the table right away we're perfect! We ordered the mofungo appetizer without bacon and it was delicious, especially the sauce that's included! I could've taken a straw to it!! I decided on a skinny margarita and it was really light and refreshing. At $13 a drink, I was good with one! Only downside was we waited about 35 min from our appetizer until our meal. Our waiter was nice and apologized for the delay. We weren't in a huge rush so it was tolerable. They had a lot of big parties, so I could understand the wait. Our entrees were really good and generously portioned. My hubby got the pollo ala plancha which he commented was very tender and flavorful. It came with a small portion of white rice and beans. I got a make your own combination plate and chose a beef taco, chicken burrito and chicken enchilada. It came with refried beans, yellow rice and lettuce and tomato. It was SO good and so much food that I took a lot of it home. We were stuffed from our meal that we couldn't fit any dessert in. We will be back again though!!

The place was sooo hot and humid I could barely breathe. 10 minutes later a table of 6 comes, they order drinks, place their apps order and dinner order. 20 minutes later we STILL have not placed our food order and had to flag someone down. On top of the food taking forever, no one checked on us. I got the enchiladas verdes BLAND. Ordered a cheese quesadilla for my son, cheese was like an inch thick, we had to squeeze it out. And my husband got a chicken torta that was stale. $85 later I wish we went across the street and got sushi instead. Will definitely not be back.

The sangria had quite a punch and the michelada had me reminiscing about that one time in Mexico. We got a shrimp sopa to share which came out hot and was super tasty. Our tortas came quickly after. I got the mixto torta which had two kinds of meat, and we also got the Cubano. After they came out we realized we could have split a sandwich because they were huge. The sandwich bread was soft and the sandwich itself was delicious. Aside from the food we got, they offer kids meals and even breakfast! They also have your typical tacos and burritos. I also loved the ambiance of the place, really gave you that feel of Mexico. I honestly cannot wait to go back and try other things they have to offer.

Started off with the Caribbean wings -- and I'm not exaggerating when I say the flavor hit immediately. Sweet, savory, a little kick... the kind of wings where you pause after the first bite and just look at the person next to you like "yeah... these are serious." Then we got into the tacos. Shrimp tacos, jerk chicken tacos, pulled pork tacos, buffalo chicken tacos -- basically the whole lineup. Every single one was juicy, packed with flavor, and perfectly balanced. Nothing dry, nothing bland. Each bite was savory and satisfying like the kitchen really cares about what they're putting out. And the margarita flight? That sealed the deal. Different flavors, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the food. You could sit there with friends, sip through the flight, and just keep eating. By the end of it I was so full, but the crazy part is I still felt like I could keep working my way through the entire menu because everything was hitting like that. Great food, great drinks, great vibe. If you're thinking about coming here... **don't think too long. Just pull up hungr

I had a visitor in from Oklahoma and thought he would enjoy the food. We were a party of 5. I was literally surprised by the quality of the food and really disappointed. We ordered Nachos as a appetizer and when it came it looked empty. No seasoning on the chicken barely any cheese or salsa on them. ( picture included) one person ordered a quesadilla with shrimp. It was very flat and she opened it and the shrimp was squashed into a ball, barely any cheese and she sent it back before I had a chance to take a picture. They took it off the bill. We ordered a medium skirt steak that was supposed to be marinated but it wasn't and looked so unappealing but he ate it anyway. I ordered the tropical plater which is a favorite of mine. The steak was disgusting( picture attached) The only dish that came out ok was the steak fajitas. We also had 4 cocktails. Our waitress was really nice and did her best. I truly hope this is a fluke but felt the owner of this business should be aware. I never minded the cost of the food because you knew the food would be delicious. This time we paid $178.35 for a horrible experience at Gallo's in Patchogue, NY
