a plate of food on a table

The food is great, especially the juicy pork and fish. The one thing confuse me every time I go there is the price. Even i order the same dinner plate, the price is changing every time.

My second time coming here, the rice and beans is good and the pork (i get it with skin) is juicy and tender with crispy skin. I get the cucumber side and the acid goes with the fat from the pork. All this with a bottled soda is only $13

My coworkers and I were looking for a spot to eat near a client of ours. We are adventurous with our eats! We wanted to check out this spot that seemed pretty good to some locals. I have had pretty good Dominican food in the past and Caribeno is up there. It's a good lunch spot with a decent amount of options and if you were in the mood for it I would go and check it out. It isn't anything jaw dropping that I would drive a distance to have anytime soon but will definitely be an option whenever I'm in the area. For those who haven't tried Dominican food and are in the area I would say it's safe to say, stop by and you'll enjoy it.

Lots of food options. And friendly staff. But takeout only. Wish there were more than the 2 tiny tables there.

Worst Mofongo I've ever had. Disgusting. I wish I never ordered it. It felt like an old mangu

Very good Dominican food. The prices are fair too. Their chicharron is worth getting.

Food was delicious. Not a restaurant there is no table and chairs. There a little corner you can seat and eat. Delicious food

Rhum to Rumba…read more... It's clearly been a while since I've been here, although the outside and the inside still look familiar, something about the overall feel felt different. For drinks, I was thinking about ordering a margarita, but our server mentioned the mojito specials. I quickly switched up and ordered the coconut mojito. My husband tried the mango passion fruit mojito, but it was extremely sour and had to be sent back. Unfortunately, the second drink he ordered also wasn't to his liking. I ordered the coconut mojito, the drink itself was good, but between the narrow glass and all the ice, it disappeared pretty quickly, which felt different from past experiences. Now Let's talk Dominican Ribs ... OMG...the thing that hooked me here the first time... The flavor was spot on, clearly that recipe has not changed. They fall off the bone, tender with that sticky sweet lick your fingers kind of special but they too were a little different. A little dainty. I just found my picture from 2019 and did a side-by-side. We also ordered the chicken wings and they to me didn't have a special feel. They were reminiscing of the ones I grab at Costco for my family barbecue. Good but didn't have that Caribbean inspired taste and they were not so, fall off the bone.

I'm Colombian myself so seeing they had a bakery I was thrilled since majority don't. I went inside and no one else was there so i assumed fast service. Unfortunately I was wrong. I made eye contact several times and they proceeded to what they were doing. I of course waited and the gentleman took my order. They did not have buñuelos so I got pan de bono and 2 chicken empanadas with a soda. I had to wait for the empanadas which was fine for freshness. The wait felt longer than needed and more so I was forgotten and they proceeded to do what they were doing. There was several people in the back and looked like they were doing renovations since a ladder was in the front. Just felt very disorganized and lack of recognition that the they were open. While my empanada's were hot but mediocre in taste, my pan de bono was cold and dry. For the wait it would've been nice if that was heated up. Total was $16 for my $3 soda. Overall it felt steep and a waste of money. I was left disappointed and now still looking for a good Colombian bakery with actual good customer service.
