The inside of the restaurant is decently sized, clean, and even has a space where you can host a DJ, which is a nice touch. There was a slight language barrier, but it wasn't a big issue. I waited about 5-10 minutes for my to-go order since the hostess/server was the only one working outside of the kitchen staff. I ordered the MOFONGO MIXTO (Mixed Mofongo), which is crispy green plantains mashed with garlic and olive oil, paired with chicharrón, chicken, or cheese. It was solid--rich, tasty, and especially delicious with the salsa blanco, which was creamy and garlicky. That sauce was a first for me, and I loved it! While I've had mofongo that included rice and beans elsewhere, this version stood on its own nicely. A couple of notes: parking is a bit challenging, and I'd recommend placing your order through an app to help navigate any potential language barriers. Overall, a good experience, and I'd definitely give it another shot!

It is a family run establishment and having just opened, the place is super clean and super modern. There is a good amount of seating, so they can accommodate a large group easily. They are open late and on certain days, they have a DJ and the place turns into a club. The food was extremely fresh and is home cooked style. The chivo guisado was extremely juicy and the meat was so tender - falling off the bone. The pico pollo was great too and very well seasoned. Portions sizes were generous with very reasonable prices too. The staff are very friendly too. It's a nice place to come and enjoy some authentic Dominican food with some bottles of Presidente or cocktails. I recommend giving them a try. You will not be disappointed.

It's an all-you-can-eat buffet style setup and for $13.50 you're getting a plate that's absolutely stacked. I went in and loaded up on mac & cheese, pernil, chicharrones, chicken, and sweet onions and every single bite hit. The pernil was juicy, the chicharrones had the perfect crunch, and the mac & cheese tied everything together. I was so hungry I barely even took a picture before diving in -- that's how you know it's good. Huge shoutout to the guy serving us too. Great hospitality, super friendly, and he even recommended some drinks that paired perfectly with the food. If you're in Westbury and craving real, comforting Spanish food, this spot is a must. The outdoor dining section is covered and beautifully decorated with tropical flowers and plants. It looks like something from the Caribbean. If the weather was cooperative we would've asked to sit outside. The inside ambiance was nice too. There's a lot of natural light that comes in from the large windows and skylight. Again flowers and chandeliers adorn the space. There are also decorative carving figures mounted in the back wall. A DJ came in and was mixing Latin music which gave an upbeat vibe. I truly felt like I was on vacation in the Dominican Republic. The food was even better than the ambiance. We really were sure what we wanted to order but after speaking with our waitress we both ordered Mama Fango stuffed with meat. This is a dish consisting of sweet plantains mashed, seasoned, and fried into a little bowl shape then stuffed with your meat of choice. I went with the white chicken. The flavors were complex and overall delicious. The white sauce is like an Alfredo with cilantro. It is a very filling dish and I ate every last bite. My friend ordered the same but filled with churrasco. The meat was tender and rich with flavor. If you are celebrating a birthday, then this is the place to be. They make such a scene with light up signs and cakes and singing... the whole place becomes a party. I've never seen anything like this before and it was great! My Cuatro Leches cake came with a candle and happy birthday written in raspberry jam across the plate. The caramel top was a nice touch and complimented the cake well. The best part was the service. Our waitress, Laura really made this visit special. She was upbeat and attentive. She had excellent recommendations and was very accommodating. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend to others!

I'm Colombian myself so seeing they had a bakery I was thrilled since majority don't. I went inside and no one else was there so i assumed fast service. Unfortunately I was wrong. I made eye contact several times and they proceeded to what they were doing. I of course waited and the gentleman took my order. They did not have buñuelos so I got pan de bono and 2 chicken empanadas with a soda. I had to wait for the empanadas which was fine for freshness. The wait felt longer than needed and more so I was forgotten and they proceeded to do what they were doing. There was several people in the back and looked like they were doing renovations since a ladder was in the front. Just felt very disorganized and lack of recognition that the they were open. While my empanada's were hot but mediocre in taste, my pan de bono was cold and dry. For the wait it would've been nice if that was heated up. Total was $16 for my $3 soda. Overall it felt steep and a waste of money. I was left disappointed and now still looking for a good Colombian bakery with actual good customer service.
