Todo las empanadas así son. Sin NADAAAAA ADENTRO! VERGONZOSOS!! ESTAFADORES!

So after trying this place for the first time, it was so good that I came back THE NEXT DAY! I didn't know what to expect from this unassuming bodega. When I left, I knew this is a place I'd have to visit often. Fortunately, a fellow Yelper posted a picture of the menu. I can't find a website. I will try and get an updated menu for Yelp during my next visit. The parking lot is tiny, but street parking right out front should be available. Prices are AMAZING! They have specials which are easy on the pockets. The service was friendly and quick. I called my order in which took around 20 minutes to have ready for pickup. Masks are currently required for customers & employees. Employees were also wearing gloves. The food was absolutely amazing! My top menu suggestion is the Chicharrón! $8 a pound for some of the best I've ever had! The Cuban sandwich's are HUGE and loaded with flavor. Big fan of the Tripe Soup! If you like tomato/pepper based soups, you'll love this. Huge pieces of tripe & perfectly cooked potatoes. The Fried Plantains were cooked perfectly and very cheap. They also have a huge selection of Spanish drinks & snacks. Overall, I'm so happy with this place! I can't wait to come back and satisfy my Chicharrón addiction!

Pigs Feet & Pernil & The Prerequisite of Rice & Beans Doesn't look pretty, but the food was Dayum good! 12-14-2016

Thanks to Yelp or else I NEVER would have found this off the beaten path Dominican spot. Plopped in the middle of a residential area that sprouts up a few businesses as you drive down the road. Here in lies this little dazzler. Super clean, looks brand spanking new with a nice assortment of Bodega goodies. You get the full Deli of cold cuts & salads & the nice array of hot buffet items. All the regular items such as different flavored rices, beans, pernil aka roast pork, roast chicken, etc. Then they have the specials of the day. On this day I chose the pigs feet with some pernil thrown on top. Everything was seasoned very nicely. The young man who helped me was very friendly & helpful. They have a large assortment of beverages also. I will definitely be back. Good spot for sure. Gotta let my brother & sister in law know about it. 12-14-2016

My husband and I have now gone here two nights in a row and the food was delicious! I've had the pernil (pork) and chicharron and it was amazing. My husband tonight had their pastele and thought it was very good. The yellow rice with beans was also super yummy. We are always on the lookout for good spanish food and this place, which is pretty new to the area, seems like it is really quickly going to become a favorite. They offer a huge variety in their menu, from cold and hot sandwiches, to dinner platters, salads and soups. The atmosphere feels like a spanish bodega, and the people who work there are very friendly. It's clean and bright and there's a couple of tables and a TV for eating there, but it's really mostly for taking out. Im positive we'll be going here often, and right now I can't wait to try their white rice, black beans and some chicken! Update: had the chicken and it was fantastic. Husband also had their steak and really liked it. Daughter had the breaded chicken and thought it was very good. And, her boyfriend had the Cuban sandwich and said it was terrific! They are seriously going to end up knowing us by first name here soon

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Would recommend the pernil, chic Arron and the beef empanadas. Think the skin on the pernil was over fried but not everyone likes the skin.

Love this place. The food is soooooooooooooooooooo dam delicious!!!!!! I love me all that Dominican grease in my tummy. I come here for lunch every day. It's a buffet so you could never go wrong. Everything taste great and taste fresh. You can eat inside as well. I always see a lot of people when I'm here so you know it's good.

Recently tried out their newly opened location here. I had some craving for delicious stew meat and their original location is closed on Sundays to focus on promoting business here no doubt. Overall the food is very identical to their first location, the size is bigger and the equipments are new. Like their other location Oxtail is only on Mon/Wed/Fri but I happily got a combo of stew goat meat to go to happily eat at home. Very satisfied with their food although it would be nice if they throw in salads or plantains as part of the combo that I've experienced with other Dominican restaurants on Long Island. However despite the lack of extras their main course is top notch and I'm always happily to go back for more. You'll most likely prefer their bigger and newer location and not to have to feel so cramp anymore with plenty of open tables for seating. It was actually quite a number of steps going from ordering to the paying counter since the counter is so much bigger now! Definitely will be back for more awesome food.

I'm Colombian myself so seeing they had a bakery I was thrilled since majority don't. I went inside and no one else was there so i assumed fast service. Unfortunately I was wrong. I made eye contact several times and they proceeded to what they were doing. I of course waited and the gentleman took my order. They did not have buñuelos so I got pan de bono and 2 chicken empanadas with a soda. I had to wait for the empanadas which was fine for freshness. The wait felt longer than needed and more so I was forgotten and they proceeded to do what they were doing. There was several people in the back and looked like they were doing renovations since a ladder was in the front. Just felt very disorganized and lack of recognition that the they were open. While my empanada's were hot but mediocre in taste, my pan de bono was cold and dry. For the wait it would've been nice if that was heated up. Total was $16 for my $3 soda. Overall it felt steep and a waste of money. I was left disappointed and now still looking for a good Colombian bakery with actual good customer service.

For drinks, I was thinking about ordering a margarita, but our server mentioned the mojito specials. I quickly switched up and ordered the coconut mojito. My husband tried the mango passion fruit mojito, but it was extremely sour and had to be sent back. Unfortunately, the second drink he ordered also wasn't to his liking. I ordered the coconut mojito, the drink itself was good, but between the narrow glass and all the ice, it disappeared pretty quickly, which felt different from past experiences. Now Let's talk Dominican Ribs ... OMG...the thing that hooked me here the first time... The flavor was spot on, clearly that recipe has not changed. They fall off the bone, tender with that sticky sweet lick your fingers kind of special but they too were a little different. A little dainty. I just found my picture from 2019 and did a side-by-side. We also ordered the chicken wings and they to me didn't have a special feel. They were reminiscing of the ones I grab at Costco for my family barbecue. Good but didn't have that Caribbean inspired taste and they were not so, fall off the bone.
