The Honey has been interested in this venue for awhile. We decided to have Sunday dinner (4/19/26) here. Located in a strip mall the place may be small in square footage but big on ambiance. We arrived about 6pm and were lucky enough to score a two seat table. It was almost filled to capacity with lots of diners enjoying their meals. With great Latin music playing and laid back vibe, I was looking forward to a great meal. John our server was polite and efficient. We started off with traditional Peruvian golden lager, Cusquena. Crisp and delicious! Two ceviche appetizers and two steak entrees. We're ceviche lovers and throughly enjoyed those dishes. The Honey enjoyed his Lomo Saltado. The traditional Peruvian stir fry dish. Strips of beef sirloin, red peppers, onions and tomatoes. Served with French fries and white rice. My Tacu Tacu Steak with rice and beans was a hit, and miss. The steak was tough and the rice and beans, really "starchy". It's hard to explain they tasted heavy and sticky. The portions are generous so I had leftovers for home. Surprisingly, the dish tasted better the next day. The menu highlights their Happy Hour and Wine Down Wednesdays. We're looking forward to returning for one or both :) of those! After a year later, I came back for more and everything was spot on. They even had live music on a Friday evening. Staff were very attentive. The food was very scrumptious, I had one of the best dishes I've ever had. It's called the Causa Limeña Cevichada. I LOVE ceviche de pescado, and this dish is paired with smooth mashed potatoes. It is a cold dish, and I love it just like that. If you don't like ceviche, you can also pair it with a Lomo Saltado. My drink was very good too! I wish I had another Picchu Margarita, but I had to drive back home. Will definitely be back sooner. read more

Okay so this was such a pleasant experience! First of all it's a pretty small dining area but I believe it is beautifully decorated showing a little bit of the culture. They also added Valentine's Day decorations in light of the holiday. Now I've only ever tried a handful of Peruvian food spots so this was something I was particularly looking forward to. The service was pleasant- our server was very attentive and accommodating throughout our visit. The food though? Wow! I thoroughly enjoyed what I ordered and so did my friends (who are big on Peruvian food). Here's what I ordered: "Appetizer": When you sit down, they welcome you with roasted corn kernels coated with salt and their aji sauce. -Roasted Kernels: Alright to me. I took one and then pretty much passed on it. I personally wasn't fond of it but I do hear it is a cultural treat! -Aji Sauce: I enjoyed their aji sauce! It has a bit of a kick to it but is also very creamy which was a pleasant surprise. Entree: -Tacu Tacu with steak, rice and beans, two fried eggs, and onion "salad": this was the STAR of my visit!! You can order 3 different choices of meat with it including chicken, steak, or skirt steak. I went with the steak. I ordered mine medium rare and that's exactly how it came out. The steak was BEAUTIFULLY seasoned and the rice and beans with the egg paired perfectly. The aji helps bring some creaminess to the meal with a big enough kick. The only thing I will say is I thought the rice and beans would come out separate versus mixed into each other. I would've appreciated clarification on that and if it is possible to order them separate even for an extra charge- it's just my personal preference as the rice mixed with the beans did seem a bit dry. Drinks: Inca Kola- the only way! Either this or their Jugos Naturales! I recommend this spot and I personally will be back next time either for the same entree or something different like their Arroz Chaufa or Spaghetti! read more

Absolutely delicious Peruvian food every time we visit! We usually order the lomo saltado, the meat is tender with the perfect amount of sauce. The chaufa fried rice is bomb, super flavorful and always hits the spot. Their ceviche is incredibly fresh and refreshing. And we can't forget the drinks! The paella was okay: they didn't clean the mussels or clams properly because I could feel some sand in between certain bites. Tbe rice was nothing special, should have been crispier. Came by on a Sunday early afternoon. There were no people but it started to fill up around 3:30pm. They have brunch options available earlier. I've tried coming twice during dinner times but they had no availability. I recommend making a reservation for dinner time. I got the Kiss Me Guava Margarita. It was pretty strong but not overpowering. It is a special cocktail for Valentines Day. My friend got the Micchu at Picchu martini. Both drinks were great and they have many more cocktails to choose from. We shared the Lomo Saltado and the Pescado a lo Macho. I loved the tomato sauce with the pescado a lo macho. It had a bit of heat but the touch of cream balanced it out. The fish was tilapia. Seafood tasted very fresh. The rice was super fluffy and aromatic. The steak dish was on top of fluffy fries and the sauce drench the fries perfectly. It was in a flavorful soy based sauce with veggies. There were so many options on the menu and they had two special menus. I would 100000% come again and try more cocktails and dishes! Service was amazing. LOVED the food! Highly recommend both dishes. As soon as Joe and I were notified that our sweet Carilina (formally from Pollo Rico) was working at this recently opened Peruvian restaurant we were there the next day! First I will mention that we were warmly welcomed by Carilina and owner Harry. Since this was the first time dining on Peruvian cuisine the menu was thoroughly explained to us. This small restaurant is simply decorated with limited seating. We comfortably sat at the bar with 2 large screen TV's and enjoyed catching up with Carilina. From cocktails & appetizers to main course & dessert everything was made to perfection. We really enjoyed the Peruvian spices and flavor. Portion were hardy and pricing is very resonable. Was in Selden over the weekend and the wife and I wanted to try out something different. Heard about Picchu and figured it was worth a shot. Highly recommend! The food blew away our expectations and I haven't had sangria this good in a long time. It's located in the small strip right next to Starbucks which is easy to miss. Parking is a little tight especially on a weekend night but don't let that dissuade you. Can't wait to go back and try out a few other things. Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday evening around 7:30. We arrived just in time to grab a table because they definitely started to get busier during dinner time. We got the Jalea platter for 2 (fried seafood), tallerine verde con carne and grilled octopus. Everything was delicious but that grilled octopus was a STAR! Literally no leftovers from that dish. Sooooo good. The fried seafood and spaghetti dish were good and a Peruvian restaurant classic. Fried and seasoned to perfection. The steak I usually don't expect Latin restaurants being able to cook it rare (which is my preference) but it was SPOT ON! So tender and melted in my mouth. Friendly service. Amazing food. Bon G and I revisited Picchu for dinner this week. Made Yelp rezzy on line and table ready when we arrived. Service was good and place clean and inviting. Bon had their Sangria, which was terrific..My Modelo was Cold and perfect! We knew what we wanted to try; Chicken combo B.. which was a whole chicken(juicy) with fries, rice and beans. Picchu is a fantastic spot to explore Peruvian cuisine and enjoy some outstanding service. From the outside it doesn't make much of an impression but they've done a nice job with a small space. They have a full menu with plenty to choose from. Not easy to make a choice but the waitress was awesome and helped us pick some winners. She even talked us into trying some items I'd almost certainly avoid without the right amount of peer pressure. Everything turned out to be delicious. First time coming here for lunch & already know we will be back! The food was delicious & the wait staff was friendly & courteous. There was a nice vibe with the background music & decor. We both ordered the skirt steak which came with chorizo sausage, fries, rice with fried egg & plantains. The steak came with a delicious chimichurri sauce but even though the steak was perfectly cooked & seasoned, I found myself using the sauce in between bites. Visited Friday Jan 12th around 5:30pm I don't even know where to start with this place. First time here and the service was 0.5/5. Right when we entered the vibe was dry and the restaurant was pretty empty execpt for a party of two seated near the corner. We were seated and waited 6 minutes for the server to attend us which we understand because there was only one. We were thinking of leaving but felt bad since we were already seated. When he came to us he asked what we wanted for drinks and I asked for a glass of water. He gave a blank stare and just walked off without acknowledging my order or asking my other group members what they wanted to drink. Turns out that he switched and a new server was to attend us. That's when we knew this place was going to be low quality. He could've told us that a new server was to attend us instead of walking off. That was rude and unprofessional. The new server was okay, she mixed up our order but at least she re-checked with us and fixed it, hence the 0.5. Once we got our food, the presentation was 1.5/5 but at the end of the day the taste was what mattered and that's where it hit rock bottom. The tacu tacu with steak was good but on the dry side. The tallarines Verdes were also good but dry. The steaks were really dry that it took away the want to eat. My order which was chaufa de pollo was, not to sound mean, was gross. I only took 5 not even spoonfuls and stopped. The rice tasted like it's been sitting out for days. Felt sticky and smelt foul. The chaufa didn't even have an authentic taste of chaufa. The prices on the menu are deceptive they say one thing but on the bill another. When it came to pay it was 1.30 cents more than priced for each plate. They also consider a party of three a large party and charged 20% on tip. Which I understand because their service was garbage and they knew they weren't going to get a good tip. Tip is based on quality of service and they definitely didn't deserve that 20%. The total for a group of 3 was $100 including tip. It honestly felt like theft. I would be more than happy to pay 100 in a resruarant if the vibe, service, and food quality great. All in all, I don't recomend this place at all it's the worst peruvian resturant I've been to in Suffolk county and I have the background to say so because I've been to almost all of the peruvian restaurants in Suffolk. Do yourself a favor and don't even give them a try there's plenty restuarnts with authentic peruvian cuisine and great service. read more

The food is SOO good. A bit pricey but worth it every once in a while. Usually get the Bistec a lo pobre and it's always a big serving enough for dinner and lunch the next day which helps out that it's so pricey. The yucca is always a nice side to add as well. Great little hidden gem! read more
