wow, just wow. i mean, look at the pictures. the food here both looks and tastes incredible. i've been loving this vietnamese spot, and one thing that really stands out is their lunch special. it comes with a drink, an appetizer, and a main course, and it's honestly a lot of food for the price. i would 100% recommend checking it out. i personally had the iced coffee, and it was delish. i was expecting a very standard coffee, but this one had a unique sweetness that really stood out. the ambience inside the restaurant is wonderful. i had no wait on a weekday at lunchtime, although there was a steady crowd throughout the space. my food was brought out in under 10 minutes, and i was able to sit comfortably with my group of four for up to an hour. overall, i really enjoyed my lunch here and will definitely be back. read more

Five stars for all the Vietnamese dishes. The pad Thai was too wet, too sweet, and not enough eggs. The tom yum shrimp soup was missing basils and a bit sweet. Not going to dock them on the Thai food. Just don't get Thai here. The pho broth is perfect with a lot of good flavors. The meat in the pho was generous. The lemongrass chicken and pork chop have excellent flavors and excellent serving sizes. Excellent service. We thought it was a take out based on google reviews but it has dine in service. read more

Came here for lunch. Small restaurant inside the strip mall but the menu was huge and had a good selection of options. The lunch specials was affordable and it included drink/appertizer/entree. The portion was big. The food had good flavor. The coconut chicken ramen had a nice flavor. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was as clean. This is my first time trying after my son had came here himself few months back. Based off other reviews, they did mention the lunch entree portion is amazing and have a ton of dishes to pick from. Walking in, you can just order at the counter then seat yourself down. The restaurant offers about 6 ish four top tables so definitely good amount of tables for a place this small. Now for this menu, it definitely offer selections from Thai, Vietnamese, Asian, and Japanese cuisines. For the lunch specials (everyday till 4pm), the price ranges from $16 to 18 depending on the cuisine selected. Off the lunch special, you get to order 1 drink, 1 appetizer and 1 entree. Pretty good deal. For me, I got the Vietnamese ice coffee; sweet chili fried chicken wings, and Pho with beef. My wife got the Thai ice tea, shrimp summer roll, and chicken with eggplant string beans. Overall, I felt the ice coffee is just okay. The pho dish has a ton of rice noodles and broth soup which I love but the beef was too well done and overall a smidge salty. My wife felt her chicken eggplant dish was too gooey. We did finish everything but felt if they just focus on the execution of the dishes, this place will do really well and that is always the peril with running a restaurant that offers so many cuisine selections. I do think this place will do well for folks who are on the go and want that variety to cater to everyone in the family. One suggestion is for some of the small plates, they brought it out in these wooden baskets and while it is visually a nice touch, it must be a pain to clean afterwards. So recommendation is to just put that on a small plate for ease and cleanliness. The staffs at this place are extremely attentive and work really hard so kudos to them. Based on today's visit, I will give a strong 3 stars and wish them much success. read more

Differing from many Pho restaurants in long Island, Pho Thai serves a BIG BOWL, not a small bowl that leaves me wanting.. Also the soup was great! The noodle and ingredients were fresh and delicious! Will be coming back! read more

A good start! We eagerly anticipated this opening, which seemed like half a year in the making. When we stopped in for takeout, the inside looked charming--there are a handful of tables--and the bar seats were comfy. Ultimately our pad Thai was mushy or overcooked, with not a lot of flavor, and our pineapple curry fried rice was on the bland side too. We're still hopeful that they're just working out the kinks and will check back in a few months! read more

We waited 30 minutes for a take out order of two sandwiches and spring rolls. That wouldn't be the end of the world if the food was good but oof! We live less than a mile away and by the time we took our first bite they were ice cold. Plus, there was piece of cartilage in mine! My wife didn't have have any foreign objects in hers' but the texture of the chicken was gummy; either over-marinated, overcooked, etc. Overall, an extremely disappointing meal. read more

The taste is GREAT! But the vegetables in the curries are cut too big; they should be smaller pieces. Every restaurant in Thailand, as well as just about every Thai restaurant I've been in in the US, has a condiment on the table called "prik nam pla', which is basically chilis in fish sauce. It's as ubiquitous as ketchup in American diners. This place not only didn't have it, but didn't know what it was. Not only that, but they didn't have the Thai chilis to put in it! I later found out that the wait-staff were not Thai, but we're Chinese. In spite of the two negatives (size of vegetable cuts and lack of standard condiment), I will definitely be back - the food was that good. This is not an up-scale restaurant, but is great for a lunch or quick supper after a movie or something I definitely recommend this place, just be aware of what it is/has. read more

Went here on a whim because my mom and I were shopping in the area and we were both craving summer rolls. We saw on the menu that the summer rolls were $9 which was a little more than other restaurants would charge for serve summer rolls but it was fine because we were craving it. We asked the person at the register how many summer rolls were included for the shrimp summer rolls and he stated 2, which actually wasn't that bad. We decided to get 4 orders of the shrimp summer rolls which you would THINK would get us 8 summer rolls in total right? Wrong. When we got our order, we were given four containers of ONE summer roll cut in half. $9 for one summer roll is absolutely ridiculous and the fact that this place considers "two" summers rolls as one summer roll cut in half is pure stupidity. We paid $36 for practically 4 summer rolls. I will not come here again after being given false information and being taken advantage of through the greediness of money they take from their customers. I'm here on business, and I admit I consume pad Thai entirely too much and perhaps that's why my expectations were so high. I ordered the pad Thai with tofu and I requested a side of chili flakes and utensils with the order. I was happy they included the extras! But, the pad Thai was not the best I've ever had. It didn't have a lot of flavor, there wasn't the tang of tamarind or had the punch of fish sauce I was craving. The tofu was also an interesting texture - like nothing I've had before. They did include peanuts and lime, which was nice. I was expecting sprouts and carrot shavings, but those were absent. I would try a Vietnamese dish if I tried this place again. read more
