The owner came over and talked with us for a while too. Super personable guy who clearly loves creating new flavors. I requested a future flavor with coconut, almonds, and chocolate chips -- basically an Almond Joy ice cream -- so hopefully he gets on that, lol! I'd give the overall experience a 9/10 only because I could see seating being tough when it gets busy, but the ice cream itself is definitely 10/10!!

With the Coronavirus disease pandemic right now, we're paranoid about any outside food. We figured we'd call to find out if we can order and pay over-the-phone, this way it was ready for pick up upon arrival. Not only did the owner do that, they also bring it out to the car. It's not just us though, he implemented curbside pickup in general, which is great right now, and also necessary given the circumstances. The owner noticed my wife sanitizing her hands and the bag with Lysol wipes and he came out to reassure her that they are sanitizing everything, and he has limited staff running things to keep everything contained and possible asymptomatic exposure to a minimum. Thank you and I wish you and your staff be safe and get through this. By the way, from what I've read, and yes I read about it, ice cream can't carry the virus. In general, again from what I've read, you don't need to avoid food items, just wash and/or sanitize your hands and surfaces frequently, and distance yourself from others for the time being. #flattenthecurve

Whether you're an ice cream enthusiast or just have a sweet tooth, Mickey's has something for everyone: traditional ice cream, cakes, hand made pies, premium pints, non-dairy options, and their famous ice cream sandwiches (yummm). There were so many flavors and treats to choose from that it took us a while to decide! I loved seeing the grab-and-go pints, such a great idea for busy families or for bringing dessert home. Before making my final choice, I sampled the cookie dough ice cream (which was rich and packed with doughy pieces), but I went with a scoop of Java Chunk in a cone with chocolate sprinkles. The flavor was spot on! A perfect blend of coffee and chocolate chips. My niece opted for her all-time favorite, cotton candy with rainbow sprinkles. The look on her face was pure joy. We took our treats outside and enjoyed them in the seating area, which was spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing on a sunny day and making the most of the beautiful weather. My niece told me it was the best day ever when we were enjoying our ice cream, so safe to say this place does it right.
