I wanted savory since it was dinner time so I opted for I think a red pepper pastry which was yummy! My friend actually bought their pastries. One was a mango dessert with white chocolate outer shell and mango mousse. It was good but a bit sweet due to white chocolate and the cream inside was rich and creamy mango flavored. I am watching my sugar intake so just had a bite to try. The other was a pistachio Dubai mousse and oh my! It was amazing! I definitely am returning for this. Also they served chai which I tried a little. And tea but I was afraid to try the tea bc I am very sensitive to caffeine which causes me to have a hard time falling asleep so I opted out. The folks here are so warm and welcoming and it's sucha. Cure, cozy spot. On my last visit, I got an order of taiyaki with custard filling which was sooooo good. Delicious, I would absolutely come here regularly just to snack on these. So good. Excuse the ugly photo of them in the bag because we wolfed them down too quickly to take photos. I'm so happy to have find this place. When I walked in, I was WELCOMED. The staff was so sweet and helpful! It was as if I instantly transported. You can tell the owner cares and loves what she's doing by taking a look around. There is so many beautiful details all over the cafe. I definitely noticed the Ghibli pictures. This is a small cozy spot so keep in mind there is a small seating place. I ordered bungeoppang (red bean and custard), a Korean Street Toast and a Mocha. Everything was great! The coffee was pleasant and not crazy sweet. Same goes for the bungeoppang, the custard and red bean was delicious. The sandwich was stilllllll steaming when I had the chance to eat it! I originally had it to stay but had to take it to go (reason for no pics). Definitely coming back.

We got the hot chocolate (choice of dark chocolate) and their sesame/milk swirl ice-cream. I was impressed by the hot chocolate because it wasn't too sweet (loved the option to have dark chocolate), it felt very smooth, and it didn't leave a coating in your mouth with each sip. The milk part of the swirl tasted as expected, however, the sesame part tasted savory. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't my preference. I took a few spoons of it because the combination was just... interesting.
