I'm so happy to have find this place. When I walked in, I was WELCOMED. The staff was so sweet and helpful! It was as if I instantly transported. You can tell the owner cares and loves what she's doing by taking a look around. There is so many beautiful details all over the cafe. I definitely noticed the Ghibli pictures. This is a small cozy spot so keep in mind there is a small seating place. I ordered bungeoppang (red bean and custard), a Korean Street Toast and a Mocha. Everything was great! The coffee was pleasant and not crazy sweet. Same goes for the bungeoppang, the custard and red bean was delicious. The sandwich was stilllllll steaming when I had the chance to eat it! I originally had it to stay but had to take it to go (reason for no pics). Definitely coming back.

Yelp is nowhere near as "protected against fake reviews" as it thinks, or advertises. I know so many business owners that write masses of reviews for their own business (and some are not filtered), and even masses of negative reviews of rival businesses. I think that may be happening here. There are ways around it, which makes me wonder how much we - the customers and Yelpers - and the website itself, really care. If their cakes were mouldy, they'd be Sporeyodang. If Margaret Thatcher owned them, they'd be Toryodang. And if they were Argentine, they'd be Chimichurryodang. Anyway I love this Koryodang. If I were a Korean I wouldn't make a Korea in sponge cakes. If the girl behind the counter was sleeping on the job, it'd be Snoryodang. And if they were actually killing customers in the back and serving them in Red Bean Buns, it'd be Goryodang. And if the bathroom was for more than just #1 and #2, it'd be Gloryholedang. I find it pretty sad that the ratings are so bad when this place is considerably better than a lot of the rivals. But then people are entitled to their own opinions. I just hope they're legit. And if there's a 45 year old guy trying to hit on the 17 year old Asian girls (and boys), that's Predatoryodang. Even if the girls (and boys) are willing, that's still Statutoryodang. Someone will bring the food to your table if you're eating there. They do have ac, so that's good if you're trying to escape the heat. My friend and I ate inside and got the summer rolls, which wasn't tightly wrapped, and it was so hard to eat. It came apart right away, which I've never seen happen before. I don't suggest getting it at all. It was too messy to eat, and the ingredients were mainly noodles. I got the taro tea as that doesn't have caffeine inside of it. For my main meal, I got the hot pot noodle soup with a medium spice level with been tendon and fatty beef. The bad part about it was that my stomach hurt after an hour or so. I didn't eat breakfast, so it was definitely a reaction from this meal.
