Came here for drinks with friends after a dinner. Cocktails were good! Service was also excellent. Ambiance is nice with good music and not too loud if you are trying to have a conversation. The roof deck is also cool during warmer months. The price point is a little high for Flushing, but not terrible. Overall, would come back again!
Very cute rooftop bar with great vibes! The drinks are delicious. The rooftop seats are cozy and looks like they have heaters during the colder months. Would definitely come back for the yuzu drink. Service was quick and attentive.
Leaf lounge never disappoints. Creative bar drinks and great appetizers make this a fun pre or post dinner spot to hang out. The trick was finding how to get in...I accessed the entrance through the Hotel but I recall there was another way from the street. Gyoza, popcorn chicken and the Molten cheese steak egg rolls were the perfect sharing plates for my group of 8. We were there for someone's birthday pre dinner so it was meant to be a quick stop. Everyone got shots and/or a drink. Service was quick and the cocktail list was fun to go through. It was hard to decide - I wanted to try so many things! (Some brands of liquor were not available so ask if you're picky, with how it's made).
Food and drinks were great. Loved the leaf burger with fries. Very fresh and tasty. I had the passion fruit potion cocktail which actually tasted like passion fruit. Just would've liked it more chilled. Service was excellent. Our server was genuinely friendly and attentive. Too bad we couldn't sit outside as it was closed when we got there at 5pm. It was very quiet and chill on a Monday. Will come back for sure.
My husband and I arrived just as they opened for happy hour. We were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and wanted to cheers to our accomplishments . Years ago we spent a lot.of time in Flushing and sharing some drinks with the view of Flushing was a beautiful moment for us after all these years. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and sat with a view. The waitress was kind and took our order right away. There were happy hour specials on the table and we ordered off of that menu. Drinks came at a good time and were delicious. We didn't order food but saw others ordering. When we return, I'll try some of their food items. I recommend you get there when they open to snag a seat outdoors. The space filled quickly.
Happy hour was good. Cute rooftop. Good service. My babes had the burger, and he really liked it; i took a bite, and it was good. The burger rolls were really good as well with the spicy Chipotle sauce. The strawberry pomegranate drink was food as well. Parking is hard on the street and have to pay the meter. I would return.
I came here with one friends for drinks and it was a pretty chill vibe. Located at the top of the Hilton Garden hotel, this is a relaxed rooftop bar. We got a couple of their cocktails and it was alright. I do think that their cocktails lean a bit on the "too sweet" side, so just be aware.
Try the beef noodle soup and the Doctor J! That lasted me until closing. Both were tasty and delicious. I didn't think I would order food but I just had to at a certain point. The bartender, bar manager, and bar back were all top notch and they know how to rile the crowd to have a good time. We went on a Wednesday night and it still turned out to be an awesome time! Loved the night and a huge part of it came from the staff. The inside is spacious and with a balcony for fresh air and some mood setting weather. The inside is the relaxed and dark setting. If I am in Flushing, I am coming back!
Beautiful view, good food and had a great time. We were having a girls night out and wanted somewhere chill with good vibes. The outdoor space was exactly that. It was very cozy and welcoming. The staff were really friendly and always filled up our water. The drinks were tasty and strong. The leaf burger was yummy and the fries were crispy. The salt and pepper chicken was delicious. Prices are a bit high, but you pay for the experience. Cons: The music gets progressively louder throughout the night where you can't hear someone across from you.
Nice little Roof Top Bar & Lounge at the Hyatt Place. They have a huge selection of Cocktails and I simply loved the ones I tried. They have Indoor seating, covered Patio, and as well as Outdoor seating. There aren't that many food options though, especially for Vegetarians, so that is definitely something they can improve. A cocktail lounge with a view! We stopped by while we waited for a table at a restaurant nearby. The signature cocktail menu was interesting - classic cocktails with a twist. I enjoyed "open sesame" - a very creative drink with horchata and white sesame. My partner got the Chrysanthemum old-fashioned, but it tastes like a regular OF. I do appreciate the single-round ice cube! The price was a tad on the expensive end, especially given it is a hotel bar in Flushing. The service was prompt, and it wasn't too crowded on a Saturday evening. We will need to return in the summer weather for the view.
Leaf Bar & Lounge is located on 39th Avenue on the rooftop of the Hyatt Place Hotel in Downtown Flushing. The Hyatt Place Hotel lobby has cool decor, and lovely hotel staff direct you to the elevators that lead you to the rooftop. Leaf Bar & Lounge has decent ambiance w/ an overall laid-back vibe. There is a bar area as well as indoor & outdoor dining / tables & seating. There is a mix of regular seats as well as couch-style seating along w/ tv that customers can watch at the bar area. Hip-Hop played from the speakers and had me enjoying it as much as I enjoyed my cocktails, appetizer & entree. The Pineapple Express Cocktail ($16) - (Rum, Pineapple Puree', Pineapple Juice, Rosemary & Lemon) and the Yamagucci Cocktail ($16) - (Takara, Shochu Dassai Jummai Nigori Sake, Yuzu & Lime) were absolutely delicious. The appetizer - Cheeseburger Spring Rolls and the Chef Lin's Famous Beef Noodle Soup Entree (served for a limited time only) - both tasted amazing. Cocktails were prepared well, and the dishes were flavorful. The Chef Lin's Famous Beef Noodle Soup was so filling, and there was enough to take home to have lunch for the next day. I would definitely return to order the same cocktails & dishes. However, I would look forward to trying new menu items as well. I visited this place for the first time, and it was an amazing experience. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was wonderful, and the drinks were top-notch. The ambiance had a great vibe and helped make my birthday a memorable one. Parking is tough and the valet parking inside the Hyatt Hotel is very expensive. Overall I recommend checking it out if you like rooftop lounges. read more

We got a burger and fries not expecting much but it was tasty! delicious food and amazing cocktail options to choose from. The service was great, everyone was lovely, and the ambiance was great too! There's an indoor and outdoor part which are both nice and friendly. Would recommend! read more
Leaf lounge is the ideal drinking location. Situated on the top of One Fulton Plaza you are treated to a sweeping view of downtown Flushing and close to many dinner destinations for pre-gaming or an after party drink. I like their devotion to cleanliness and safety which is good to keep both customers and staff safe. They encourage reservations so they can control the number of people coming in and out. They even take your temperature at the door. They checked me twice maybe because I was wearing a headband and it was a nice summer day so it got a little hot. The staff is very nice and very attentive. The waiter did not even get upset when I spilled some water on the table. Everyone was wearing a mask too. I like straws and they have plenty so I felt better not drinking from the same cup as another person did. I was seated at a safe distance away from other people and they make sure not to crowd in another table even if it gets busy. Good for me cuz less prying eyes as I take a zillion pictures They also had menus you can scan on your phone so you don't have to touch their regular menu. They had a ton of comfy looking chairs and benches which you can hang out on but they need to seat you to make sure you are socially distancing. When the weather is nice this is a great place to just enjoy being outdoors sipping on a nicely crafted drink on a weekend/ weekday night. I thoroughly enjoyed their watermelon refresher and tried the Queens Boy Cuomo a nod to our governor. There seemed to be a decent amount of alcohol in each drink without skimping on other ingredients that would make the drinks less tasty or watered down. The size of the drinks was also adequate. I definitely would have given it 5 stars if not for a $35 per person minimum which two drinks does not make. You definitely need to order something else and nothing is less than $7. I also miss their Taiwanese food which I had tried before which they used to serve -their beef noodles and crispy chicken chunks. The menu has been reduced to mostly drinks and American fare like fries and burgers. The buffalo wings were good with enough salt, spice and kick. This I ended up ordering to go since I had to leave and just needed to meet the minimum. Also the waiting area near the elevator gets quite stuffy so a reservation is definitely recommended. Great place to get a drink if you can find it since you either have to take the elevator in the lobby of the hotel and then take another elevator or go to the outdoor plaza where there is an outdoor elevator and go past some restaurants on the left into another room to take the elevator upstairs. But overall friendly staff and great drinks and a wonderful view to boot. read more

The ultimate happy hour Located above the Hyatt in Flushing Queens NYC, there is no better happy hour. On the rooftop with a view of Manhattan, you'll get 50% off drinks and 30% off food! There is a $20 minimum/person and we had a hard time reaching that with the happy hour prices which is unheard of! The cocktails are delicious and unique while the food is also very tasty. The ambiance is cool with igloos, lights or the pretty indoor area. Planes constantly fly overhead which adds to the unique ambiance. Definitely stop for happy hour if you're in Queens! read more
Get the fries, get the fries!! When you first enter, the hostess checks your ID and COVID vaccination cards for all the people in your party. If your ID card is outdated (not expired, but outdated), the hostess will let you know but they will still let you inside. They will let you know before you sit down that there is $35 minimum per person. The menu is scanned via a QR code on the table. DRINKS: My friends and I ordered a few drinks- the Pineapple Express, the Aloe Vera Fizz, and the Eastside. I liked the Aloe Vera Fizz over the Pineapple Express, it seemed simple and bland with a touch of flavor just to my liking. I ended up telling my friend to finish the Pineapple Express for me because I wasn't too fond of it, but you're a pineapple fan you might like it! Overall drinks weren't too strong. FOOD: The food comes out pretty quickly. We ordered the shoestring fries, salt and pepper popcorn chicken, and the wings. I do NOT recommend getting the wings, because they seemed overcooked and very dry!! We couldn't even finish the wings ($12) because we didn't like them. (The 4 stars is because of the wings!) However, we liked the fries so much ($9) we got 2 orders of it! The popcorn chicken was just okay. Nothing spectacular. read more

I came here two weeks ago with a party of four late at night, around 11PM. We did not have a reservation but was able to get seated right away. There is a $35 minimum pp here, which we agreed to before getting seated. The views were great on the rooftop! It is nicely decorated with string lights, couches, tables spaced out, and heated lamps. We ordered a bunch of finger foods -- edamame, chicken wings, gyoza, etc. For drinks, we got a Watermelon Refresher (lunazul tequila, aperol, fresh watermelon juice, mint, lime, Eastside (vodka, cucumber juice, lemon juice, thyme syrup), and Yamagucci (takara shochu, dassai junmai nigori sake, yuzu, lime juice). They were all pretty decent but nothing to rave about. I have had better cocktails before. The watermelon refresher had three big block of ice cubes in it which was disheartening to see. I do think the prices are high for its portions they give, both in terms of food and drinks. For example, the edamame is $9. However, it is a rooftop bar so it does not surprise me. If you're going to go to any rooftop bar, you have to splurge a little. In all, the food here is 3 stars but the wonderful ambiance and entire experience bumps it up to 4 stars. We stayed for quite some time and the service was great -- our waitress, Cindy, was very friendly and kind. This bar is definitely a nice place to go with friends. read more

So this is a very cute interior bar the rooftop part left much to be desired. The menue is very limited and a bit over priced but the food was decent. We ordered like 3 appetizers and shared and had a drink each. The bill was 100 dollars for no reason. This is a night cap place not a dinner spot. read more

Really cool spot with a dope happy hour. The drinks otherwise retail for $15, but 5-8pm, they're $9! They're all handcrafted cocktails so $9 really is a steal. They're located in the Hyatt near Prince st. It's a bit difficult to find though, if you enter from outside the hotel. We went up the steps on the outside and didn't realize we had to open the door that said leaf bar and take an elevator up. That was a bit confusing, but apparently you could also enter from inside the hotel so just an FYI! They had good music playing, and a party on the other side. Everyone was vibing and having a nice time. The drinks were dope and didn't take forever to be made/served. Old fashioned, passion fruit passion and their fall ginger drink were allllllll delicious! Highly recommend trying whatever sounds good to you there :) read more

Great views and layout. This bar is located in the top floor of the hotel at this address. You'll be treated by a hostess who can seat you either inside or outside. I chose to sit at the bar while I waited for a friend. The bartender was super friendly and was willing to engage in some banter about his pins! I tried a bourbon based drink as was impressed by the mixology and attention to detail. I returned later the next night and tried the popcorn chicken, the gyoza and the fries. I would recommend ALL THREE! Great snacks to go with the cocktails. The hostess was great at accommodating our large group of folks post-wedding. The only set back to table service was that 1 card / 1 check was required. Because of this, most ordered at the bar a couple feet away and brought back items to the table. This bar was a bit tricky to get to but it was WELL WORTH IT! The service was fast, the waitresses were very attentive and on their A game. The aesthetics was great too. I liked their couches and table setup. The food as well was tasty and it's definitely a nice vibrant date night. read more
Leaf gets a 10/10 from me, this place is the perfect summer vibe. The staff is amazing, super friendly and helpful. The drinks are sooooo good, definitely recommend, their menu is short but you can definitely get a few bites and be satisfied, their food was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try other options, their shot were so smooth and easy going down we had 4 each and didn't even realize until we felt them, haha. This place is definitely a 10/10. We ordered wings, cheeseburger spring rolls, and French fries all of which were amazing. I recommend going and checking it out for yourself as I didn't realize Flushing had such a cool bar scene. Two weeks ago, I emailed info@leafbarandlounge.com to make a brunch reservation for my friend Jane's birthday today! The owner Todd responded and took care of it since you can only view their calendar weekly. Earlier this week, I received an email from Todd that we would be sharing the space with 60 guests for a baby shower event. Luckily, they have a private room so I was able to change my table. Thank you so much for accommodating us! When I arrived 10 mins before my reservation at 11:30 AM, it was a bit chaotic because the guests for the baby shower was setting up their party. I walked towards the back to check-in with one of the servers. My table wasn't ready because they were using as storage for the chairs. Jane - Bloody Mary Me - Mimosa Brunch Entrees: Jane "Birthday Girl" - Steak (medium) & Eggs (over easy)...the steak was very flavorful but I am not a fan of mushrooms though Me - Eggs Benedict...one was overcooked so I asked for another poached egg then the second was perfect with the yolk oozing out mmm *mama like*...the arugula salad and house hash was yummy as well My friend ordered the Irish Coffee and she told me it was creamy. I planned a birthday outing for my friends 30th. Called ahead and was able to make the reservation for 15 people without an issue for a Saturday. Due to the weather we were originally outside but were able to get situated inside. Service was great and very accommodating. I was having too much fun and didn't get any pictures of the drinks but they were delicious. I tried the pineapple and watermelon one. Food is more appetizer like but it tasted amazing. I had the gyoza, and quesadilla and stole fries from a friend. Overall great experience and environment and great food and drinks. read more
Leaf is a popular option in the Queens based social circles I run with. Often we find ourselves back here even if we are in another part of Queens. The location is great - downtown flushing and high in the sky (it's up inside the Hyatt). There are many tables and outdoor seating. Drink selection is filled with quality cocktails. They even have tasty (Taiwanese) snacks. I always feel pretty relaxed here - they never seem to rush you out, or push you to keep ordering items while you are talking with friends. They really seem to want you to lounge! On my recent visit I could do without the nondescript background pop music playing. I enjoyed my Barrel aged Negroni, perhaps it was slightly unbalanced towards the sweet vermouth side, but it sure looked handsome and I felt like an adult drinking it. I tried the chamomile old fashioned and really enjoyed that as well. Sometimes you might get set on a particular cocktail or beer and they will be out of stock which can be bummer, but still many good choices to choose. Leaf is a great refuge from the chaos that downtown Flushing can sometimes become so when it all gets too much just look up and head skyward! read more

Made reservations for here on Saturday night at 11pm. Was seated promptly on the rooftop. I thought it would be too hot or too cold but the weather was really nice that day! - warm with a light breeze. I was here with 3 others - we all got drinks, i ordered the adult calpico. Although im not a big drinker, the drink tasted decently strong to me. (I think it contained soju, calpico, and marshmallow syrup) didnt really taste the marshmallow syrup but it did come with a marshmallow topping! Service was def not attentive at all. Had to wave and yell for the waiter to notice us, and sometimes had to ask for things twice. The food was decent- we ordered things like popcorn chicken and fries. Came out quickly as well! It was a really chill atmosphere and we did not feel rushed at all as we stayed there for about 2 hours. The 4 of us spent 113 without tip - just a little under the $120 "mininum" and they didnt really say anything so I guess the $30 pp rule is not strictly enforced. This price is not bad for drinks and food! Overall would come again for cheap drinks/food and the cool atmosphere. read more

The Leaf Bar & Lounge is a hidden treasure nestled above the Hyatt Place Hotel in flushing. Had no idea this place existed. Yes, missed all those fabulous yelp events here. Anna had an event here Friday night. Definitely, RSVP for seating outside or come early. Lots of specials during Happy Hour- especially the drinks and cocktails. Definitely, try out the Chef's signature dish- Henry's Beef Noodle Soup. Flavorful and enough to share with friends so get a couple of items. Molten Cheeseburger Spring Rolls definitely need more than one order. They come with two pieces and they are so addicting. Burgers in a Spring Roll. Gotta have more. Also goes for the Salt and Pepper Popcorn Chicken with Basil Representative from Suntory Whisky Toki was giving out drinks and we learned about Japanese Whisky. Taste was very light and fruity with a kick of spiciness to the Whisky. Will be back again. Great food, drinks as well as service. Leaf Bar & Lounge is a destination not to be missed. read more

I came here at around 11pm. They are currently restricting to no more than 4 people per table. Each table is spaced out about 6 feet apart. We had a party of 6 so we separated into 2 groups. They said we weren't allowed to walk over to the other table which was really inconvenient. There is a $35 minimum per person and there is the requirement that food must be bought with the alcohol. These are the new rules enforced by the city inspector recently. They checked our temperatures before seating us. Great views from the rooftop! It wasn't too cold so we sat outside. I really liked the watermelon refresher which was Lunazul tequila with watermelon juice. It come with a slice of watermelon, mint, aperol and lime. All cocktails are $15 each. Our server was really attentive and recommended us the casamigos blanco shots ($8). The food was decent. We got the shoestring fries, edamame, and gyoza for $9 each plate. They were quite expensive for its portion size -- for example the gyoza order only came with 6 pieces -- but it is expected for a bar. I really liked the fries. It was one of those least greasy fast food style fries. Relaxed atmosphere with a great drinks selections. For groups of 6 of more, an automatic gratuity of 20% will be added. read more

This spot is a cool rooftop spot for a light date. It was very chill, music at a fair volume and the service was decent. There isn't much of a food menu but they have a full bar. Unfortunately though, two new drinks on the menu were not available that night. Hubby and I ordered the wings & a burger with fries. I wasn't really in the mood to drink much so they made me a refreshing mock-tail but it was the same price hubby's real cocktail! read more

I'm very sorry but Happy Hour was phased out on May 9. Drink prices vary depending on what's in it but signature cocktails are $15.

There's no cover charge.. I think? I went on a Saturday night and got a table for 4. Didn't have to pay extra, but certain tables and menu options have a minimum!

Have been trying to call this place but it keeps saying they're closed. What're the hours they're open on Saturday? And read something about a 30/per minimum? Is it not possible to just walk in and have a drink without dropping 30/person?
There is a 30 dollar minimum to sit outside on weekend night.

It says by appt only? Is this place only for parties?
Where does it say By Appt Only? If it does, we need to erase that. We're open every day from 5pm. But we also do private parties.
