I picked Blu Ember at the Westin LGA simply because it was convenient before our flight--but it ended up being one of the best pre-airport meals I've ever had. Everything exceeded expectations: the food, the service, and the ambiance. We ordered a mix of dishes and every single one was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the burrata with heirloom tomatoes was bright and delicious, and the toro/uni bites with caviar were a true standout. Our entrées--from the seafood to the steak--were cooked perfectly and tasted even better than they looked. Service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. For a restaurant this close to the airport, the atmosphere is surprisingly upscale and relaxing--perfect for a calm meal before flying out. Whether you're staying nearby or just want a great dining experience before heading to LGA, Blu Ember is absolutely worth it. I'd come back even if I wasn't flying.

This place had a lot of variety on its menu which I really enjoyed. We started off with the Shrimp Oreganata which I honestly thought was just okay. The shrimp seemed a little overcooked but the sauce went really well without. After, we were served the Spanish Octopus which I absolutely loved. The octopus was cooked perfectly and was nice and chewy but not overly chewy. I also really liked the potato wedges that it was served with. The Gochujang Chicken Sandwich was one of the best chicken sandwiches that I have had in a long time! The chicken was perfectly crispy and seasoned on the outside and still nice and juicy on the inside. It also came with extra pickles which I was very happy about. The fries were your thick cut fries and even though I do enjoy thin fries more, these were very nice and crispy on the outside so I enjoyed those as well. The seafood pasta was also really good. All of the seafood was cooked perfectly in this dish (even the shrimp) and the flavor was nice and tangy which is what I like in a red sauce. We finished the meal with a crème brûlée which was very nice and creamy. The brûlée on top was a little too sweet but I know it is just sugar so we just moved it to the side and finished the rest of it up! The serve was great and the host helped us out when she could because they hadn't opened the dinner section yet so majority of the staff wasn't in. It is definitely a cute little date night spot and I will be back once I can choose from the raw selections!

Blu Ember was so luxurious! The decor inside seemed so elegant and chic! Everything screamed high quality! The service was also amazing! All of the food here was delicious! The flavors here were not overpowering and you could taste how well each ingredient blended together to make such a delicious dish. The lobster eggs benedict was so delicious - with just the right amount of savoriness. The lobster was cooked just right - it was so soft and melted in your mouth! The avocado toast was delicious - they added some pumpkin seeds for added texture and it was soooo good! The seasonal oysters were so fresh, it didn't taste fishy at all - i could have 100 of these by myself! The lobster rolls are a must try for brunch! They were so delicious and you don't feel bad about eating it afterwards! Its not as oily as other butter rolls! Soso delicious!

Sea bass - The image shows a plated seafood dish with a cooked sea bass fillet, garnished with green asparagus spears and a cherry tomato. The dish is presented on a white plate with a textured rim, and a light sauce or broth surrounds the fish and vegetables. The presentation emphasizes the fresh ingredients and simple elegance of the dish.

Loved my dining experience here a few weeks ago. The food and service were amazing. I'm actually looking forward to coming back this weekend. I saw this spot on yelp, did more research and had to check it out since I'm always looking for great restaurants..The restaurant is nicely decorated and there was a good amount of diners seated.. We ordered some cocktails and sushi for appetizers and L had their steak and I ordered the sea bass. Also ordered lobster wonton soup. Everything was delicious. Loved the chef's pick.. the rolls also ..so yummy. I actually ordered another roll afterwards. The sushi was very fresh. I could've easily eaten another round. The lobster wonton soup was so good. The broth was flavorful. It was even better than the wonton soup at Chilli. The steak was cheaper than the Wagyu at RH guesthouse but it was just as delicious. I loved my sea bass. Everything came in a good pace so I didn't have any of the issues mentioned in the other reviews. The few bad reviews I saw...were due to slow service? My waiter was so nice...and everyone who brought our food over was also very kind. I even spoke to our waiter for a lil bit. The drinks were so fun...they come with side offerings. The drinks tasted pretty good but were still strong. Tried 4 but will definitely try the rest next time. I went to a sushi restaurant just the other day and I should've just come here instead. Like night and day difference. Looking forward to their omakase...

Good place to get brunch ground flush in New York, very beautiful spot inside. Very good service as well. I did find the food to be a little bit plain, not too flavorful, it felt healthy though. I'll come back again.

Ngl, the food was delicious, ordered the Kumamoto oysters and sashimi, everything was fresh. The ribeye we asked for medium rare was cooked perfectly; juicy nice and pink, flavorful, not tough at all, and perfectly seared on the outside. Aside from reading all the 1 star reviews, yes I agree they need to work on their service. One of our waiters spilled water over our shoes while picking up the empty sashimi plate that had ice. And one of the girl waiter also dropped utensils while cleaning. If I'm going to pay this much for food I expect the service to match the ambiance.

Prime Filet Mignon 8oz - The image shows a wooden dining table set with two plates of cooked steak accompanied by sprigs of rosemary, mashed potatoes, and a small quail egg. There are also two servings of pasta with a tomato-based sauce and grated cheese, served in small cast iron dishes. Two glasses of water are visible, along with small containers of sauce or gravy. The table is partially set with utensils and napkins, and a person wearing a patterned shirt is partially visible on the right side of the image.

My parents and I enjoyed a nice family dinner here tonight. Ari was our server and she was kind and friendly. We started with the burrata and lobster roll. I really did like both, especially the burrata. The tomatoes were super fresh and vibrant. The lobster roll was nice, but kind of small, I would pass on that next time. My parents both had filet mignon and mashed potatoes which they liked as well. My dad said of the filet mignon "it could have been a bit bigger" lol. The mashed potatoes had some Japanese fish topping that Ari explained but I forgot what it was called. I had the fettucine bolognese, which was good as well! Next time I am definitely interested in having sushi. We had the tarte tatin as recommended, and it was really good. Its kind of like an apple pie. I definitely want to try this place for brunch. The interior is beautiful and calm. I also enjoyed the clean bathrooms. I recommend this spot for sure!

This gem is easily one of the best dining experiences I've had all year. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt upscale yet inviting, and the staff was incredibly warm and attentive throughout our entire meal. Our waitress Ari was amazing, super sweet and friendly I went with my mom and we got to try a variety of dishes -- and everything was delicious. The flavors were bold, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully plated. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The staff made us feel welcome from start to finish, offering great recommendations and checking in at just the right moments. If you're looking for an elevated dining experience in Queens -- whether for a date night, special celebration, or just to treat yourself -- Blu Ember is absolutely worth a visit.

All around great and beautiful place. We went for an early brunch, at 11:45am on a Sunday. The place was empty and quiet. The decor is beautiful and being so close to Halloween they had some decorations out... the service was great, our server Fiona was really friendly, attentive and had some suggestions for us. The food was absolutely amazing. The truffle fries were the best I've had and so is the gigantic French toast. We ordered the truffle fries, French Toast, Steak & Eggs, Pancakes and the Eggs Benedict. The pancakes weren't all that great 6/10, but everything else I would say 10/10, including the service.

A classy and dim lit atmosphere created a perfect date night experience. Service was on top of cleaning and topping off water. Although expensive would definitely come back just for the delicious truffle fries and oysters. Only wished that the Juicery Bar was available during dinner service. Jungle Juice and Ramos the Carlos - A fun and unique blend using fruits typically not found in alcoholic drinks. East Coast Oysters - Incredibly sweet and well plated. Toro Nori Bites - Came with two rolls, but one bite of warm luxury. Prime Filet Mignon and Prime Ribeye - Very tender. Wish there was a bigger portion of shallots. Truffle French Fries - The star of our dinner. Crispy and served with a strong yet delicious sauce. Berry Cheesecake - Portion was small but was berry sweet and had a classy presentation. Matcha Gelato - Richly flavored.

Arrived late to our reservation but we were still accommodated. (It wasn't busy.) I like that there is a new posh restaurant here in Flushing! Really love the wagyu nori bites!! This is a newly opened restaurant and I think the service can still be improved.

Had a great time dining with my girlfriends .The ambiance was lovely, the service was excellent, and while the menu didn't have a huge selection for brunch & lunch , so the focus wasn't on the food itself, but rather on the comfortable and elegant atmosphere - perfect for a relaxing get-together.

My husband and I had lunch here for our simple celebration of our anniversary and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. We started with fresh oysters that were perfectly chilled and incredibly flavorful. For our entrée, we both ordered the lobster roll, and it was absolutely delicious -- generous portions, beautifully seasoned, and so satisfying. We ended our meal with a crème brûlée that was perfectly done with a crisp top and creamy center. The cocktails were excellent as well. The restaurant itself is very spacious, which made the atmosphere feel relaxed and comfortable. Our hostess and the rest of the staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. We highly recommend this place, especially for special occasions.

The crème brûlée is really good!

Late-night gem alert!…read more This tiny hole-in-the-wall oyster spot is where you end up when you're not ready to go home but still want something good. It feels like a total 2016 time capsule--in a comforting, nostalgic way--with soft lighting, chill energy, and zero pressure to be anything but relaxed. The main event--the oysters are fresh and hit every time, exactly what you want them to be. The cocktails? Fun, well-balanced, and dangerously easy to keep ordering. It's the kind of spot you stumble into once and then keep recommending like it's a secret--even though it deserves all the hype.

Today we were both able to make it here for happy hour, I called for a reservation and was glad that they were able to accommodate a seat for 2. However, we got here and it seemed like there was an event going on, should've been closed for just the event in my opinion. Honestly, we were very psyched to be able to make it here for happy hour. When we received our oysters, it came out in a massive size platter with two dozens in it that took up the entire table space. The waitress then brought out our 3rd dozen at the same time as well and we didn't have any space to use our mini plates. This wasn't a huge issue, it just would've been better if the timing was spaced out with when they brought out the oysters. While we were eating the oysters, it felt like a gamble 50/50 as to when you will get an oyster with extra shell pieces in your "bite" it wasn't cleaned well or shucked as well as it use to be. The environment looks the same as usual, speakeasy vibe, it was just extremely loud with the event going on and like I said, should've just closed up for a couple of hours for that event. For our service, our waitress forgot to bring extra sauce as I had already asked when she initially took our order. Another issue was we finished our oysters and expected to get our truffle fries right after, but it took about 10 min for her to get back to us and by then we were very over it being there and I asked for the check from the same waitress. She then comes back 10 min later and brings the truffle fries and at that point we were already visibly dressed and ready to go since she forgot to bring the truffle fries out within a reasonable timeframe. I personally know what bad service is and honestly, I still don't think this was the worst, but it definitely ruined our experience of coming back to the Attic for future reference. ** If you are planning to come for happy hours just remember that you risk eating oysters with extra shell pieces in your "bite." I don't know how the service is from the other workers as well, so don't base off the entire customer service experience based off this one waitress.

There are plenty of seats but during the weekends they fill up quickly. I would just recommend coming in earlier. Really enjoyed their strawberry matcha latte and banana latte. The matcha had a strong creamy flavor that complimented the strawberry flavor very well. Judging from the color, it was definitely a decent quality matcha. The hot banana latte was not too sweet and really impressed me with the taste. It wasn't artificial and was very comforting on a colder day. I also tried the oolong tea cheesecake. The texture was moist and the perfect density for a cheesecake. While the tea flavor was light, I would get it again. Excited to try out their other drinks, they also have a selection of desserts like the tiramisu that will sell out quickly.
