Went to Camp Camp for a weekend dinner, and they were very accommodating! We had made a reservation earlier in the week, and had to make last minute adjustments since our party size increased. The restaurant had a very nice ambiance, gives glamping vibes with the design, lights and furniture. We were seated by the edge of the restaurant which offered nice privacy for our large party of 8. We ordered a variety of skewers and shared dishes. Overall, food was generally tasty (3.5/5). I do think the skewers can get pricey especially as it's not a lot of meat per order, and I wasn't really as full compared to some other meals you can get in Flushing. Like what other reviews may have mentioned, you are better off ordering individual skewer orders instead of the mixed skewer variety combo. Some of the favorite items to get are the pork belly skewer and grilled enoki mushrooms. Overall, come here for the vibes and you'll have a great time.

Made a spontaneous decision to come here to watch the Knicks game (spoiler alert - they won!) and I had a great time! It was all booked up and honestly, I was really grateful they let us stay so long. They definitely knew people would stay long because of the game so props to them. I enjoyed the food a lot! Not all have been pictured but my group and I had many skewers and shareable items. My favorite was the vermicelli clam noodles! The cucumber salad was a hit at our table as well; they were so crunchy and flavorful. We also got the Ferris wheel of shots and it tasted a bit watered down unfortunately but it's a fun thing to try for less than $30!Overall, I would come back again to just have a good time and drink!

Camp Camp in Flushing is such a cute spot! The outdoor area is really nice and actually makes you feel like you're camping. They have a good variety of food options, and everything is fairly priced, including the drinks. Definitely a fun place to hang out with friends or family.

The ambiance was so fun and on theme, we sat on camping chairs and got to really feel immersed in the experience overall. We ordered quite a lot of dishes for a party of 5 including: Grilled Eggplant, Grilled Garlic Oysters, Garlic Pea Shoots, Tinfoil Clam Vermicelli Noodles, Tinfoil Corn, Squid Tentacles, Lamb Skewers, Chicken Cartilage, Chicken Gizzard, Quail, Grilled Rice Cakes, Beef Skewers, Pork Belly and Enoki Mushroom, Grilled Garlic Scallops, Bean Curd Skin, and Chive Skewers. For drinks, we ordered the Ferris Wheel which included mixed cocktails (Lychee and Blue Raspberry) as well as the Lemon Green Tea and Grapefruit Yakult. The drinks were standard, not bad for the price point honestly. My personal highlights were the following: 1. Fried Stinky Tofu - perfectly crispy and the sauce was wonderful not too heavy and perfectly light and tasty 2. Tinfoil Cheese Durian - I love durian so I may be biased but it was a nice slightly sweet and creamy dish to offset the spices of the rest of the skewers and dishes 3. The Pork Intestine Skewers were also very tasty, perfectly chewy and the sauce varied slightly from the other seasonings providing a really good contrast. The rest of the skewers were quite good and honestly I recommend stopping by and checking it out as everything was fairly priced and delicious!!!

Liked the variety in their menu. We came for the Chinese bbq skewers but tried a little bit of every thing. Seasoning and flavor were good and it's a novelty to sit outdoors on camp chairs and tables. Different concept and the food wasn't bad.

Cute spot, lots of space and not too crowded on a weekend night. I was there on sunday night and they had a lot of open seats. Come with a group to try more items on the menu, I recommend trying the skewers. The flavor was good. Fried squid was good too. Eggplant and the enoki mushrooms were skippable for me. Got some other items to try at well and everything was fine, not super impressed but overall still fun to try. Surprised this space wasn't packed with people. The decor is cute and fun with chill vibes. I'd come back to try their desserts next time!

Step into @campcamp_ny in Flushing, where camping meets city dining in the most playful way possible. Think glowing lanterns, lush greenery, cozy seating, and even a mini Ferris wheel that serves your drinks! From savory Chinese skewers to seafood boils and stir-fry dishes, every bite hits that comfort-food sweet spot. Whether you're here to chill with friends or just want something new and fun, this spot gives you all the outdoor adventure vibes -- minus the bugs.

Camp camp tasted so yummy! It's such a cool concept - it feels like you're out camping! If you come here, you have to try their corn cheese! It tastes soo delicious! Their clams are also a must try! It's super fresh and succulent! The grilled eel also tastes very tender and full of flavor!

Super cute camping concept with solid skewers. We came for dinner around 7:30pm and it was still relatively empty, but diners started coming around 8:30. No reservations needed - there's plenty of seating. We ordered the fish ball, chicken, and beef skewers. All 3 were good & cooked perfectly. The seasoning is a little spicy and really tasty, but it does need something to break up the taste. The sweet & sour vegetables (basically a mixed salad of carrots, potatoes, wood ear mushrooms, cilantro) was the perfect dish for it. Flavors were balanced perfectly, and it was so refreshing! I would skip the grilled scallop and chives. The chives were tasty, but the seasoning sauce on it smelled AWFUL. Would also skip the bone marrow too. We're both bone marrow enthusiasts, but it seems like they didn't bleed/soak the marrow well. I really liked the clam & vermicelli tinfoil pot. It has a generous portion of clams, the broth is tasty, and the spice level is just right. I do wish that there were other foil pot options (fatty beef would be GREAT). Service is really attentive but ambiance is relaxed and casual.

Cuisine: 2 Service: 1 Decor: 7 Value: 7 Overall: 2 I have mostly been here on late nights to grab a drink and some snacks with friends. Weirdly enough, there is no consistency to their quality of food at all. The last two times I have been there, the skewers have been terrible. They were all overcooked like everything was reheated after being returned. I hope that's not the case. When complaining about the skewers, the server said that's how they taste. I said, "The meats are supposed to be jerky-like?" He said that's it's what they offer and there's nothing else he can do. When asking for the tab, we noticed that they overcharged us for beers. There were four of us and we had three rounds, that makes a dozen beers. Easy math. Right? Not to our waiter, who said we had four rounds. None of us were drunk, so we argued with the server, but eventually gave up and paid. At least the beers were cheap at $4 each. Regardless, it was not right what the restaurant did. They won't see us again.

Worst restaurant experience from someone who never complains about food or sends food back. We sat down and didn't get approached for about 15 minutes. Tables and menu were all sticky. A roach crawled onto my body whilst waiting for food. The food arrived we ask for mild if wasn't no big deal. The mixed skewers came out and the food tasted like they were cleaning and sprayed the solution onto the meat - second bite was just sour. Quietly asked the guy upfront to cancel the rest of the order and I'd pay for what we got to not cause a scene. He dragged 3-4 other servers into the situation. We still paid full price for basically nothing. No apologies no trying to ease the situation. Overall terrible service and terrible food and a waste of money.

A pretty unique experience and bar, this place makes it feel like you are camping somewhere tropical and asian with its park benches, straw umbrellas and lanterns, i really like the vibe and appreciate how unique it is and only hope flushing keeps coming up with these cool hangout spots that cater primarily to the local Asian community. Its great to see a fresh crop of ideas, separate from the main stream, where boring trite ideas like sports bars arent just constantly rehashed

Pitcher of Modelo while we wait for a table on the busy patio is a must do at the full bar.

My friend found this place, and was a pleasant surprise for me! Going in the front there was no hint of what was in the back, with a few people hanging at the bar, and as well looked to be waiting on the comfy couches in the spacious room. We checked in, and had a few minutes to wait for a table so got a "tower" of beer at the bar to share. That was cool, although coming from Canada, their idea of beer is somewhat different, oh well. Note to self, remember to turn off the spigot of beer so the glass doesn't overflow, check! They led us out into the back patio, which was open air and glorious! Everyone was enjoying the beer and BBQ this place is famous for so we joined in on the fun. Ordering almost everything on the menu, it was a fantastic feast with the black stinky tofu being a standout with the yummy sauce served with it. Well worth seeking out for the experience here sitting in those short little lounge chairs under the umbrellas it was something I'll never forget!

Turns out, very, very, VERY bad. We ordered two cocktails. 45 MINUTES LATER, we were still waiting. I asked our waitress twice where they were. Both times, dismissive and annoyed: "They're coming." At that point I assumed they were being delivered by horseback. The drinks finally came, watered down and mediocre. We eventually ordered a second round, and somehow three different people became involved in getting us drinks. One of them came over to ask for my wife's name for the order (?). I genuinely started wondering if we were applying for a mortgage. How many people does it take to make a cocktail here? Literally let me behind the bar and I'll mix the martini myself. It takes under 60 seconds at any bar in Manhattan, but somehow in Flushing, every drink order takes 45 minutes.

While the persimmon cake SEEMED to be made in house, it was very clear that everything off their food menu required minimal preparation (ie. for the dumplings, it was just har cow). I also thought their cocktails were okay, and out of the three we got, none stood out to me. I did enjoy their tea, however. But, it was also fairly expensive for what it was (~$50). I loved all of them, particularly the fruitier ones. As for snacks, we had this fried taro snack that had a crispy biscuit outer layer that was delicious. It was a bit of a sweet & savory mix, but not strong in either sweet or salty flavors. There was also this persimmon snack that was filled with nuts and other things. It was slightly sweet, very unique, and both paired well as a tea time snack. They're also open until 11:30pm! It was three oysters, similar to Crown Shy except I wasn't a huge fan of the flavoring here. The nigiri sauce didn't really elevate the flavor of the oysters much as they're already a slightly salty food and a soy sauce sort of just added more salt to it. I think a bit more kick was needed to enhance the flavor profile. The handroll set was pretty good, I liked the spicy tuna the best, then the salmon and then the yellowtail the least. In order, I'd probably give the spicy tuna a 9/10, salmon 8/10 and yellowtail 7/10. However, the tiramisu was fantastic, one of the best tiramisus I have had, creamy, good notes of coffee flavor and wasn't overly sweet. Our server was also very friendly, she showed us how to properly eat the handrolls which was nice. The place also has a nice vibe to it, very relaxing and not too loud or overly grand.
