Walking in on a 17 degree night means choice of seating. My friend saw this spot with its sky ceiling and lunar new year decor, and so we said 2026 means let's try new things. Here, they have a BBQ grill where you can grill your own meat and veggies here. The fat and oils drip into the void and you get to place the skewers on a rotating conveyor belt. I saw other things like tofu, salad, abalone, dumplings, in case you don't eat meat or like burning barbecue skewers. There are alcoholic options: grape wine brandy 5% bac and also soju 14% bac as well as many different beer options.

Oh yeah, a very cool BBQ experience. The menu is great and the seating is nicely spaced. Atmosphere…read moreis relaxed and well lit, very good for social gatherings given the space and table sizes. You do cook the food yourself but can ask for assistance if needed. The plating and beef boards they bring out are just fun to see. The experience is what you make of it - fresh juice drink options, tons of meat proteins and sides to choose from. I've been here twice and can tell the meat is very fresh and well prepared. I can't even name a favorite, just loved everything! The meat staircase is definitely something to try - so many cuts and good portion size. You get two to three pieces of each protein. It's a great value. In the lobby area, on display is an old Guzheng (Chinese harp) along with various cuts of premium wagyu meat. The place was well ventilated and was surprised that I didn't leave smelling like it. Service (5/5): This is a self-cook, manning your own meat establishment. The food comes out prepared on trays at fairly quick speed. Burners worked well and were changed out when burned. The burner seemed small but we were able to cook fast enough to keep everyone happy. Food (4/5): For 6 of us (4F & 2M), we ordered just the right amount of food: Meat Lover's Stair Combo, Beef combo, veggie platter, 2 rice. I'd say that all of the meat was super tender but nothing stood out too much. None of the meat was marinated except for 1 meat in the stair combo that turned out to be everyone's favorite. For all that food it was about $40/pp. A free small cup of Hershey's vanilla ice cream at the end of the meal. Overall, had a great time and good food!

The French fries were also really good and definitely worth getting. The only downside was that some of the tables were cracked and could use a little maintenance. Overall, though, the food was excellent and I'd definitely come back!

We've had the best barbecue all over the states and although Quinn is good it's not the best. But if you order from Too Good to Go and are not picky about what you get you can try a little of Mighty Quinn's at a reasonable price. The restaurant is not very large. There is a counter at the side where you order and pick up your food. When I walked in I was confused where to go for my pickup but they told me to wait as they were packing the orders now. I didn't wait long. I showed them my app and they handed me the bag. When I got home the sausage and ribs were still warm. The sausage was juicy, spicy, and had a nice snap when you cut into it. The ribs were dry but flavorful. It was not fall off the bone but still tender. I love their saucy brussel sprouts. It might have been my favorite. I might even go back just to get more of it someday. The rice was ok. It's still good bbq here but expect to spend some money.

Our waiter lit the metal plate and cooked the food. At times, some food cooked a bit too much, so we just turned the heat low, because our waiter had to help others and we don't like burnt items. I liked Iron Age, because the meat portions were generous and deeply marinated--there was lemon chicken, bulgogi, steak, squid. We had many sauces to dip the meat. So much good flavor! I also appreciate having steamed egg, tons of banchan (Kim chi, corn, radish, marinated onions), grilled veggies. I had lots of fun, and you can order beverages and alcoholic drinks but they are extra. I would definitely go back.

The server brought us the food and drinks. Drinks came after the food was cooked. I didn't take pictures because I was busy cooking -- no one helped with the food preparation here. We had tongs and scissors. The bon chon were sad. We had 90 minutes but were done eating before the time was up. The biggest complaint I have was the music being way too loud. We may have been right under the speakers but there wasn't a need for a restaurant to have the music at night club level. When the birthday song came on for someone else, it was even louder!

It surprisingly took longer than I expected for my à la carte order of ribs, almost 25 mins which was strange considering they were right in front of me in the warmer. The organization of the orders didn't seem to be efficient to be honest. If the ribs were good though, after the wait, I'd be all good to be honest. Overall the ribs were really dry and overcooked, perhaps from being in the warmer a little bit longer than expected. They were also really skinny ribs with not a whole lot of meat. Perhaps I'll have to give them another try sometime given the number of folks that were there.

(Just off the 7 /or walk from the Q104 / R,M - Northern Blvd. to Q18) It was just okay, not Amazing by what the socials say. Had the ($21) 1/4 Chicken & Ribs Plate, they threw in an extra 1/4. (I was overwhelmed at first and ordered a plain quarter chicken (dark meat) & 3-rib plate. The cashier was nice enough to recommend the #8 combo (1/4 Chicken, 3 Ribs) instead.) The cut of ribs were good but slightly dry. Was recommended the beans (good) with white rice (dry) by the cashier. Dark meat was the best. First bites of the white meat & ribs were dry, but got better towards the middle. The green sauce was watery and didn't have much flavor. Not sure why everyone raves about green sauce. Was expecting Mama's Empanadas level, but this was 1/4 of that flavor. The Cantonese-speaking cashier was so nice & chill! Communication was easy (English, Cantonese, or Spanish) & they had a steady flow of customers, of all backgrounds. I would get the food to go, the dining area is one long, narrow room and for whatever reason the floor was very wet. I guess it's good that they mopped at 4 PM? There were a few guys that were either workers or hanging out at the far back tables, one or two middle-age couples dining in. It was just kind of a sad ambience. The cashier recommended the Lomo Saltado next time. Maybe I went at a slow time, 4 PM Friday. First bite of food at home was decent, but nothing overwhelming. I would stick to all dark meat! Reheat the pink beans at home. Glad that they usually get their workers two weeks vacation (as per a sign in 2022) - shows that business is good! *Didn't realize they're connected to Caravan Chicken in Astoria. Might try them (closer to me) to compare.
