We ordered that Luogong Mini Lamb Skewers (10 skewers/$14.99), Luogong Beef Skewers (10 skewers/$20), and Cucumber Salad ($14.99). I wish we got the regular size lamb skewers because they were too small and I liked it. Both kinds of skewers meat were juicy, tender, seasoned well. The cucumber salad was refreshing, tangy, with a slight slice. They give an option to cook it yourself on the grill or they will cook it for you in the kitchen. We chose to grill it ourselves because I like it a little charred. For someone who hates to wave down staff, I like how there is a call button at the time. Note: I have heard about cars being towed in the parking lot, so I appreciate them posting a notice in front saying that you have a 2hr limit for parking.

If you're craving bold, savory, and smoky flavors, Lougong Grill Skewer is the place to hit. This spot brings serious heat (literally and figuratively) with its authentic Chinese-style street BBQ--perfectly grilled, irresistibly seasoned, and downright addictive. The skewers are the obvious stars here. From tender lamb to juicy chicken wings and flavorful veggies, everything comes off the grill with just the right char. The seasoning? Chef's kiss--a savory blend of cumin, chili, and garlic that hits all the right notes. Spice lovers, you'll be in heaven. The vibe is casual and fun, ideal for late-night eats or a relaxed get-together with friends. Everything pairs well with their ice specialty ginseng cocktail. It's no-frills and full of flavor--just how good street-style BBQ should be. I'll definitely be back to try more skewers (and maybe sneak in an extra lamb or two).

I came back again and I feel like the luogong beef skewer now has a mellow sweet taste to it that it didn't have before. The skewers are still delicious and juicy. This time, we also got the egg fried rice and the signature golden beef soup. The egg fried rice is just delicious. Growing up my parents always told me not to order fried rice outside but just a simple egg fried rice hits the spot. Especially when you eat it with the skewer meat The signature golden beef soup is sour and spicy. It definitely brings the head

This is a great spot to grab skewers with friends and family. There is a parking lot so parking is free and the restaurant is very spacious with lots of booths and a row of more private enclosed spaces. Every skewer we tried was good with the standout being the lamb skewer with the plum enzyme. It was very tender and smooth. The magic is in that special sauce they give each table along with the cumin and sesame seed spice mix in one of the containers. The combination of those two is chef's kiss. The cucumber salad with house salad is a great option to help cool off and take breaks from all the meat. Warning: the mala flavor skewers have a lingering spice that intensifies over time! The table has a cool spinning mechanism if you hook the skewer on right. However, they served all the skewers cooked even though we asked to cook at the table. The table ended up being used just to warm up the skewers.

Came here late one night with my friend. The space was clean and spacious. There are so many skewer places now, and they're honestly all very similar. This restaurant doesn't really stand out in my opinion, but it was still very good. The two of us ordered the combo Set D. It's too much food for 2 people and we ended up taking food to go. for $66 plus tax and tip , you get 10 lamb skewers, 10 chicken skewers and 10 mala skewers, along with a scallion pancake. I would come back since theres a parking lot here.

Came here on a late night weekday and there were quite a lot of open spaces. I got their plum lamb skewers, mala beef rib skewers, beef belly skewers, and their beef dry hot pot. In this place, some skewers can be cooked in front of you (like the plum skewers). The servers recommended to cook it for 15 mins. For the skewers, they also have a plate of sauce where you can roll your skewers in. It changes the flavor profile so it's definitely trying with and without the sauce based on your preference! The dry hot pot comes in either seafood or beef and I chose beef. It's a really oily dish, however considering it was only $20, the portion was really nice!

Asked for this powder to rub your meat in.. it added great flavor

Thanks to my friend Andie for introducing me to this place. Our group of three came in to enjoy so meat skewers and ma la tang and for the most part this place did not disappoint. Luogong is made for groups with comfortable booths throughout and even large semi private rooms along one side. The decor is very colorful and I like the designs on the panels on the partitions. The main draw here are the skewers. Each table has an automatic skewer grills with the skewers having little sprockets on the end where the gears fit along the grill allowing them to rotate back and forth automatically. We got some lamb, mala lamb and pork rib skewers are each one was basically $2.. (an order of 5 is $10). They aren't the largest skewers - basically yakitori sized. I thought the flavor was good. Ask for the cumin/sesame powder which enhances the flavor of the meat. We also got a mala tang with lamb which my friend asked for "very spicy" because the last time she was here she felt it wasn't spicy enough. I think she regretted the request and found it was too spicy - maybe next time Goldilocks will find it just right haha. I enjoyed it, but I tend to have a high spicy heat tolerance. We also ordered this fried mushroom with pork floss dish which was tasty and provided a contrast to the skewers and malatang. I didn't realize this dish was $28 and it made me go hmmm, that's some pricey mushrooms. They give you a lot so it's good for a group. The service was very attentive - we came in on a Monday so it wasn't overly busy, but perhaps more than I thought it would be. There were some ballers sitting next to us ordered lamb chops, and large oysters which are some of the menus higher priced items. The lamb chops are cooked in the back and prepped at the table with the server slicing up the meat making for easier eating. Overall I enjoyed it here. I like the large parking lot with easy parking. Come check out this corner spot and enjoy some automated skewers cooked right before your eyes!

The cumin lamb was just perfect. It's probably one of the best I have had. Malay beef skewers were good, lamb skewers were okay. Green beans were good, too. Will be back to try additional items. Service was good. Place was pretty quiet on a Friday night.

TLDR: Korean-Chinese skewer restaurant. Lots of variety, stick to the lamb - everything is very new and super comfortable. Luogong is the new popular skewer spot where the old Viet restaurant was. Tried with some friends. Got the tofu skin salad, the stir-fried intestines and a whole bunch of lamb. The salad was refreshing, a bit salty/sweet. Stir-fried intestines were exceptionally good. Crunchy veg and the RICH offal slices. We got the traditional lamb skewers cooked on the grill and the premium lamb chops that are cooked in the kitchen and sliced table side. Overall pretty good and I loved how clean the place is. The menu is pretty expansive so probably need to eat through more of it to see which things are best.

I got the chance to try this Korean Skewer restaurant! When I arrived I parked in the plaza parking lot. I walked in and was greeted and sat. The spot was super cute! I was served by Xiao and he was great! I ordered the: LuoGong Plum Lamb Chicken wings chicken skewers Shrimp skewers Steamed buns Korean shin ramen egg fried rice The food was excellent. The only thing that was just ok was the chicken skewers. I loved the flavors! All in all it was a great time!

Came here on a week day and there was no wait. We got the skewer set D that came with lamb, mala, and chicken skewers. We also ordered cucumber, shredded potatoes (both cold dishes), and mala tang. Portions were pretty big! We had a bunch of leftovers to take home. Overall food was pretty good and would come back!

Disappointed!! Came for their bbq which was highly promoted on social but food was either too bland or salty. The non marinated bbq skewers was offered with table side seasoning but it was just a mix of pepper and cumin seeds which didn't give any flavor. They need to provide ground cumin and salt. The pots was overly salty. And the Enoki tin foil was just enoki and bean sprouts for $18. They've also up the price of grilled scallop. Use to be $9 for 2pc. It's now $9 for 1pc.

Would you like to be transported back in time to ancient china?…read more How about just testing your spice tolerance to see if you can hang with the best? Well, if you want all of that, PLUS hot pot, look no further - this is the place to be! There is a reason this is one of the highest recommend spots to visit when you're in Flushing. First off, entrance? SO UNASSUMING. It's like, the tiniest door, with no real obvious signage. Once you go through, you basically feel like you're in one of the ancient alleys of China - decor is 1000% great. We had a larger party of 7, and they were luckily able to accommodate us since we lined up a few minutes before opening on a Friday. We actually got IMO the best seats in the house - towards the back, elevated up on some steps, a mini pavilion essentially. But enough about the decor.. how was the food? Well.. GREAT! And honestly, for NYC prices, not too expensive (but a bit pricy for flushing I guess). The quality was top notch (highly recommend trying the mala quail eggs) and the spice of the broth was GREAT! We went with medium since our server (amazing btw, thank you Sean / Shawn / Shaun??) said that he can't even go near hot, it burns his eyes. Medium was just perfect - felt great eating it with some sweats, regretted it the day after, which means I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Meats were good quality, veggies were yummy. I wish the shrimp paste had more in terms of quantity, we barely had seven bites for each of us, but it was really good. Also, pro tip, probably don't order Napa Cabbage, a lot of their other dishes will sit on top of a whole leaf, so you'll probably get enough from that unless you want to consume half a head. Sauce bar is $2 a person - which might be shocking for some to know they charge it, but it's pretty much the norm at a higher end hot pot place in big cities. At least they don't charge $6-$8 like some places and only throw in a few apps/desserts to try to justify it. Overall, really loved this place, and would definitely go back.

I've never had them like that before anywhere, so it's definitely a chefs special. They were made crispy on the outside but soft and flavorful on the inside. Highly recommend. All the other dishes were also fantastic. Portions are also great, we ended up taking lots home. They gave us free dessert jellies which is also a classic Sichuan dessert; they also had a deal where you get free drinks if you order a certain amount of food, so we got two free drinks. I would have given a five star if not for the super long wait. Granted we did go for Christmas Day dinner. We saw them having to turn away lots of customers. They are super popular. Main issue is there isn't a number system, so getting a table felt a bit random; we considered ourselves lucky. Our servers were very friendly and nice. They told us it would be a bit of a wait, but this was the longest I've ever waited for food: 45 min before the first dish was served. We ordered 5 dishes with rice (forgot to take pictures of two of them). I wasn't told one of the dishes I ordered wasn't available until 30 min after I placed my order. But when the food did come, they all can't together so we didn't have to keep waiting. The servers were also attentive after despite how busy and clearly overwhelmed they were, which was really nice. In conclusion, great food with good portions for spice lovers. Very nice servers and try not to go on Christmas Day since it can get really busy.

Ambiance: 4/5 Yummy Noodle House is plain and simple. It is a very casual meal and pretty packed most of the time. It feels very local and produces authentic comfort food.
