Beef brisket cooked to a tender perfection
    Denise C.

It was my first time at Jongro BBQ, and I was excited to try it. I am always up for an amazingly authentic dining experience. I was there for an early dinner and we were seated immediately on a weekday. The staff couldn't be nicer as we placed our order for a soft tofu stew, Korean steamed egg dish and Korean seafood kimchi pancake to start. We decided on a large mixed protein platter which had a generous amount of USDA Prime beef galbi and brisket and premium pork belly along with thickly sliced king oyster mushrooms. We were presented with a nice variety of small vegetable side dishes better known as banchans. It was a perfect accompaniment to the meal. Our server was very attentive and kindly refilled our vegetable sides several times throughout dinner. He also changed our grill grates and expertly cut up and sliced the various cuts of meat presented to us. It was done with so much attention to detail, that we felt as if we were the only table he was tending to. You'll be blown away and completely satisfied here. It's definitely a treat for all the senses, it's not only visually appealing but oh so delicious! Check out their website for a sneak preview of what to expect!

It's always a great time with the service and the food here!! Had the large combo and also try the finger meat tonight.. a bit sweeter than any other meat but still great flavor.. the place is also top. They make you feel at home and you ain't cooking that's the best part lol

Update - their quality of meat is so much better (didn't think it could get better) and they also have a vanilla ice cream! My daughter was thrilled and all The workers interacted with her so it always make us feel welcomed. As noted before the restaurant is big and clean and there's parking. 10/10 service 10/10 food

If you're in the mood for bbq without having to grill yourself this is the place to go. The beef platter was fresh and cooked to the right temperature of choice. The scallion pancake was good not as packed with seafood like other Korean places I've been too. Bonus, parking is available too (in a strip mall) Friendly service, they kept checking in on the cooking and water refill. I like how they cut up the meat for easy sharing. Traditional Korean BBQ place with communal cooking and eating style with the grill on the center of table. I'll be back with other friends and family.

Great atmosphere , our servers were always around to cook the meat for us. Last but not least the food was delicious. The reason why it's not 5 star is because it's really not a good place if you have a party of over 8 people . We had 8 adults and 4 kids and we were so cramped on their biggest table . We didn't even have anywhere to put our clothes . They should make hooks on those wooden dividers so people can hang their jacket or purses.

These are we lame sides we got.

Well, let's just say I've been to much better Korean BBQ. We had a party of 3, and we each ordered simple things: cow tongue, marinated beef and another beef: including 18% tip, it all equalled to 144.00. That's absolutely insane, they didn't give us much beef because we were all still starving after we left. It was good, but it wasn't 144.00 good. Their sides they give you are terrible, the worst choices I've ever had for Korean BBQ. Check out my photo - those are the stupid sides we got. What kinda place is this? And they have their water in a plastic tupperware, it honestly looks so dirty I tried not to think about it as I was pouring my drink. I'm a smaller person, and their two stall bathrooms are so tiny you can barely walk into the stall itself and close the door behind you. I will say they were quick with service, but that's about the only thing they had going for them. Just so you know if you've never been here, this place is on the 2nd floor - which you have to take an elevator. So don't think you're going to find it off the street. I'm good - there was other Korean BBQ places on the block I could have used my money on. Better yet, Flushings not too far away.

Came to this restaurant with a group of co-workers for dinner. We ordered family style, it was a very good amount of meat for all of us. We definitely ha a great time enjoying this delicious meat with a lot of sides offered. Service was very good as well, guys were very attentive in everything. My favorite which is not in the pictures was the Seafood Pancake, highly recommended if you like seafood.

Always a good time. Staff is friendly and good is good although prices have skyrocket.

Definitely one of the better kbbq spots that's not ayce in flushing. The cuts were really good just a bit expensive in my opinion but I don't think you can find these quality of cuts anywhere in flushing. Overall, the food was really good the the service was really nice. Definitely a place to go with friends and families.

The beef short rib soup here is sooooo good and flavorful! It was pretty cheap from what I remember too I've never been to a place where they gave huge bones with the meat still on it. I think this place is known for BBQ but I didn't feel like getting bbq that day. This soup is a must! It wasn't too salty and the meat was tender. Perfect with a bowl of rice

Food was kept cold upon purchasing to grill. Meats were quite fatty to my liking. There are leaner beef, pork and chicken options. Could use a little more veggies in my opinion. It gets my appetite going. I just have little patience for food grilling slowly. I was salivating while staring at it to be done cooking. Not the restaurant problem but my own.

Theres a large selection of skewers to choose from that they ring up at the register before you go back to your table. Drinks, hot foods, and specialty skewers you order via the QR code. They helped us with what went on the rotating bbq and what went on the flat portion as well as giving times/hints to when things would be done. The skewers are well priced even though the cuts/bites are a bit smaller. However everything was delicious and you have plenty of dip/sauce/seasonings at your disposal. After your meal they count your skewers and for every 10 you are entered into a drawing for a chance to win a prize. Wagyu Place BBQ is one of the more upscale all-you-can-eat Japanese barbecue restaurants in…read moreFlushing, specializing in premium wagyu beef, sushi, seafood, and table-side grilling. We walked into a modern interior with a lively atmosphere, the kind of space that works well for groups or special occasions. The dining room had a polished, energetic feel with the grills built into each table and the staff moving efficiently between stations. Unlike most AYCE barbecue spots, the focus here is on higher quality cuts of beef, and the staff regularly came by to help grill the meat, making the experience feel more polished than a typical buffet. The wagyu is the main reason to visit. We ordered a selection and found the meat well marbled, tender, and noticeably better than what you would typically find at standard Korean or Japanese barbecue buffets. Depending on the menu we chose, there was a wide selection of Australian, American, and Japanese wagyu, along with sushi, sashimi, seafood, and other side dishes. Every meal also began with a cheese lobster, which came out rich and creamy, a nice addition before the barbecue started. We appreciated that the portions were generous, so it was better to order gradually instead of trying to sample everything at once, and the variety across the menu gave us room to explore different cuts and preparations. The dessert selection ended up being one of the biggest surprises. Fresh fruit like pineapple and cantaloupe was exceptionally sweet, and the soft serve and other desserts were a refreshing way to finish such a heavy meal. It helped balance out all of the rich meats, making the meal feel more complete instead of ending on another savory course. Service was another standout. The staff frequently checked on the table, replaced grills when needed, and helped cook and cut the meat to ensure everything was prepared properly. Since the restaurant is popular, reservations are a good idea during peak dinner hours, though the experience ran smoothly once we were seated. The team moved through the room with efficiency, and the pacing of the meal kept the flow steady without feeling rushed. Overall, Wagyu Place BBQ is one of the stronger premium AYCE barbecue experiences in Flushing. The quality of the wagyu, attentive service, and wide variety of barbecue, sushi, seafood, and desserts help justify the higher price. It is more expensive than a typical barbecue buffet, but if you are looking for a higher-end all-you-can-eat experience centered around quality wagyu, it is worth considering.

They cook everything right in front of you, unlike kbbq places where you cook meat yourself. I also appreciated the good ventilation, we didn't smell like meat at all after leaving the restaurant! Additional notes: - we thought it was funny that they put sprinkles in the potato salad, it may seem kind of odd but definitely very Chinese (compliment btw) - it ended up being almost $50 pp for 4 people - we got lucky and didn't have to wait, but I hear there's usually a line, so definitely call ahead to suss out the wait
