    Hot food bar
    Eric Z.

We arrived around 8pm on a Saturday and got seated right away with no reservation. It was crowded but service was on top of it. Constantly checking in, refilling the meats and hot food, and clearing plates away. We never had to wait to get food. There was always a stack of clean plates and a ton of meat selection. It can get pretty noisy but that's part of the charm. Our smoke vent was kind of weak but that might just have been our table. Food selection is standard at a kbbq. They had kalbi, bulgogi, pork shoulder, etc. Dinner time has more options so we got to try to pork jowl which was delicious and another pork item that was also very good. The only thing lacking here is the hot food bar. The kimchi and seafood pancakes and the dumplings are really the only things worth getting (and white rice). The rest of it, I tried a bite but would skip if I return. We paid about $57 per person after tax and tip. There's no parking so we had to go a block away since it's a busy area.

One of our favorite AYCE KBBQ spots! Great quality food with a good selection of classic KBBQ meats. Came here on a Friday night around 8pm for 4 people, and there was no wait. Highly recommend their kalbi and beef brisket! They also have a nice variety of prepared food items to eat while you're waiting for your food to cook (e.g., white rice, soup, kimchi and scallion pancakes, fried dumplings, fried chicken wings and japchae). The staff occasionally help you cook the food (especially for the galbi) which is nice so you can focus on eating. For dinner, it was $41 per person. Drinks not included. Been coming here for years, and will continue coming back to get our KBBQ fix!

Returned after almost two years on a Sunday evening. The raw meat quality seem less, some of the cuts of meat are thinner and not whole steaks or large. I actually ate more cooked food from the buffet table then usual. Maybe it's the end of the weekend or end of Sunday? Important: check your bill carefully, they added 18% tip onto the bill automatically and they requested more tip so if I didn't see the added tip then you will double tip them

TLDR: You get, they cook. Good selection of meats and sides and good times. Grill changes without asking, but note that once the fire is off, it is off. If you want last minute egg or corn, make sure to grab it! Note: The ice cream tastes funny, would not recommend. - - - - - - Solid KBBQ spot with some nice meats and excellent service. There are no limits to what you can eat, but only take what you can eat (don't waste food, or you pay for what you can't finish). There are several areas to grab items from hot foods to raw meats to pre-prepped corn cheese and egg. After you've selected all the meats that you'd like to eat, a server comes by to cook and serve you. Grill changes? Automatic! Some standout items are their kalbi and brisket; they even have some other common items such as bulgogi, though those were not too tasty. There was a time where meat was accidentally burnt, but the server's quick wit and sass made it a comedic scene than an awkward moment. In comparison to the busier KBBQ of SoCal (iykyk) the music here isn't quite loud, and it's quite nice for enjoying casual conversations with friends. After you eat, there is an option for ice cream, but I would not recommend it, as it has a funny taste

Great variety of food! My go to for Korean bbq - well seasoned meats, & a variety of sides. Service is good - they come around often changing the grill to a fresh one and if you want to order beer/soft drinks.

We were celebrating my son 29th birthday. The offer variety of raw meat from korean meats such as Bulgogi, marinated short ribs, gizzards, sardines, veggies, and many more raw meats. They do have korean corn cheese, japchee, small noodle soup, korean pancakes, ready-made hot foods, dumplings, wings, rice, soups, and desserts The workers do change the grill regularly. They do offer romaine lettuce, various dipping sauces, and spices. People are friendly. There are plenty of tables for families. . The prices are reasonable $39 for a Thursday nite dinner for the family. We will come back again

We made reservations for Sat night and surprisingly it wasn't necessary. It wasn't packed and we were promptly seated. We asked for a garbage bag to put our jackets in but keep in mind - you're going to smell like smoke and bbq. Lots of meat to choose from as well as banchans. $41 AYCE on a Saturday night is a steal. Great service - can work on their dessert options.

I have been coming here from time to time but it's definitely been a while since the last time I was here . One thing i notice is the change of the cooked dishes that they no longer carry my favorite pig feet dish which was a big let down . I guess they have attracted a lot of non Asian customers that no one eat they dish any more . I wish they would bring it back one day ! The service was good as the waitress makes her rounds to bbq for us. My kids enjoyed their food and the desserts . Will definitely come back again in the future .

Compared with the same Picnic Garden brand, but this place was far more better than other locations in NJ - All meats marinated in Korean sauce style - Fried chicken drum was so testy - many sides of sauce and seasoning - Ambiance was large dining table and a lot more around restaurant The price is acceptable! I highly recommended to all people.

    Wince J.

I don't know where to start. This price is every affordable. All you can eat. The attendants are so nice and constantly walk around to help people cook their food. I came here by myself and they asked me to pay first before sitting, which I didn't mind. But if you're with other people you pay after. I have zero complains about anything. Everything is fresh and delicious. From the assortment of beef to pork, kimchi and vegetables, there's just so many options to mix and match and create whatever meal you're craving.

There was a lot of energy in the place. The wait staff were friendly. Food was great but was pricey per skewer. Food 5/5: Delicious and tasted close to skewer cart (this is a win!). Would have loved to try more things but some skewers were up to $3 each so it got pricey fast. They did have a large selection of skewers to choose from. You get a wrist band with a QR code that tracks what skewers you order. Non-skewer items could be ordered using your phone. Everything was fresh. They had house-made spice and sauce packets at each table. Every table had a cheat sheet showing how long to barbecue each type of skewer. We tried the bbq scallops which were full of garlicky goodness and cold noodles which was a refreshing balance to the heat of the grill. Service 5/5: Friendly waiter. Gave us the run down on how things worked in the restaurant. Periodically checked in on us. No complaints. Ambiance 4/5: Prefacing that the high energy environment was not really my cup of tea but I know others may prefer it. Bright flashing lights and loud music playing over speakers drowned out conversation. That said, the tables were spaced well so every party had their own personal space and restaurant was clean.

The machine kept jamming, and with only two servers on the floor from what I saw, they were constantly running back and forth to troubleshoot it on top of everything else they were already managing. As for the food, I felt it was overpriced for what you get. The place was so busy that there really wasn't much guidance or explanation. We had to ask twice just to understand how the raffle system worked, and there was also a small rack grill next to the skewer grill that no one explained, so we were left confused about its purpose. If you're going for the atmosphere, to hang out, chat, have a few beers, and snack, then sure, it works. But "snacks" is really the right word here because that's exactly how the skewers felt. The portions were small and expensive, and I honestly don't think two people could leave full without spending close to $100. I've been to places with larger selections and better value. (We bought a corn dog and pan fried dumplings after we left) That said, the raffle itself was a fun touch. My husband won a small stuffed capybara, which was cute. But when I played, I ended up waiting a long time because people ahead of me had 50 skewers' worth of raffle entries, and with the machine constantly jamming, the process dragged.

It was a bit drafty at the table closest to the doors, but the host was super accommodating and willing to switch our table. He also provided us with some hot tea while we waited - so considerate! We decided on the Mixed Combo B for 2, which comes with pork belly, pork shoulder, brisket, and marinated short ribs. All of the meats are really good. I'm not the biggest fan of pork shoulder, but this was good here! Kimchi stew always hits different at BBQ spots, and Golden Pig's is delicious. We ordered an extra to go! They don't have a takeout menu yet, but the staff was kind enough to pack us some kimchi and rice anyway. Banchan here is simple but done really well. All orders are put in on the tablet at each table. While the layout of the restaurant is still very much similar to Jeong Yook and Baekjeong previously, it's definitely an upgrade. Ventilatation is pretty good but be prepared to still smell a bit after. Prices are super reasonable. Parking is doable but not always the easiest. Looking forward to coming back soon!

There were several occupied tables, but we still received plenty of attention from the servers throughout the meal. I've tried a few similar places, and this one continues to stand out. The meat portions are generous, and they can handle high heat well enough to develop a great sear. One major change since my previous visits is the appetizer selection. The menu has shifted heavily toward sushi and sashimi offerings. If you're someone like me who enjoys both premium cuts of meat and fresh sashimi, this is pretty much the ideal combination. They now offer many more specialty rolls than before, and the quality of the salmon and tuna also seemed noticeably better. My husband, however, would disagree. Since he doesn't really care for sashimi and prefers not to fill up on rolls, he would have liked to see a stronger selection of traditional appetizers and sides. Another welcome change is that lobster is now unlimited instead of being restricted to a single serving. The lobsters themselves are smaller, which I didn't mind, but both the cheese lobster and the garlic butter lobster were incredibly salty. I'm not sure if it was the seasoning or the type of lobster being used, but the garlic butter version was "clog-my-arteries" salty. I mentioned it to the kitchen simply as feedback, although I wasn't planning on ordering any more regardless. The only items limited to one order per person were the Kumamoto oysters topped with uni and caviar, the sweet shrimp with caviar, and one other premium item that I can't quite remember. Everything else was unlimited, including their new sauce station and ice cream machine. I especially appreciated the expanded sauce selection. On my previous visits, they only offered their Asian spice blend, which is still my favorite. But when I saw they had A1 sauce available, I had to do it--I dipped the A5 in A1. I can't believe they offered it, but once I saw it there, it felt like a rite of passage. One disappointment was that they had run out of foie gras. I had my cash ready and everything. If you pay cash, you receive complimentary foie gras with the Wagyu and uni, so I was definitely looking forward to it. To their credit, they offered us a premium abalone appetizer as a substitute, but I politely declined and opted to pay by credit card instead. The servers were friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient. There was never any concern about running out of time during the 90-minute dining window. In fact, by the time the 90 minutes were up, I couldn't imagine fitting in another bite. The manager, or at least who I assumed was the manager also stopped by to check on us, made conversation, and was very pleasant. One thing I especially appreciate about this place is that I've never felt rushed. Even when we've gone beyond the 90-minute mark, the staff still comes by to ask if we'd like to order anything else. There's no countdown or "last call" pressure like you often find at other ACYE spots. Overall, it was another very enjoyable meal. I left unbelievably stuffed and, despite a few minor criticisms, still felt it was absolutely worth it.
