Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I absolutely love this place! Really great value, big portions, well packaged whenever I buy takeout. The service has always been great when I dine in. I love their sticky wings and sticky ribs!! So delicious. The drinks are also fun if you want a big frozen cocktail. The restaurant is spacious and clean inside, with Texas themed decorations

Us still waiting for drinks after 30 minutes. Haha

I had choices and this wasn't a good one - save yourself the hassle. 3:50 PM on Thursday; Got here with no lines and barely any staff. 5 minutes in an empty seating area waiting to seat a party of 2 with nothing but empty tables 15 minutes into waiting; we finally were allowed to place our order; waited another 20 minutes for water and a marg in the rocks. While waiting I checked out the restroom and found it unpleasant. Thinking I'd have my food ready by the time I returned and no drinks and no food yet. The waiting continues - 4:30 I finally get our drinks; had to send the marg back - I think they forgot the alcohol in it. Still waiting on food; one hour later after being seated - still waiting on food. I mean if this is how Dallas BBQ wants to present themselves there's certainly much room for improvement. Food quality was great, my steak was cooked to order; shrimp and ribs were hot and delicious. Just needs some improvement in order taking and getting the drinks out as fast as possible. That would make a huge difference in the experience. Ambiance was fine; it was comfortable and the music was decent elevator noise. Things I'd like to see improved - times between first touch to customer - once you get the drink orders and bring the drinks be ready for the food order. Don't take forever to speak to the customers about their needs. Definitely would be a 3 or 4 stars if service was faster. Maybe we just had a newbie waitress

Came for a friends birthday. Now they are not bad but it's not the most amazing food ever. They give pretty good portion sizes. They will accommodate large parties. But the flavor of the food varies when you go it's not consistent in my option that's why on BBC like t give a four.

My go to restaurant for affordable eats and decent food. I come here at least one every other month. My favorite is the frozen drinks with added flavors (really strong). I try something new every time I eat here since there is a decent size menu to choose from. This time I had a salad and it was a HUGE portion. Certain parts of the meal can be a hit and miss such as the sides. The service is always good and the ambiance is busy but still able to enjoy a nice meal out with my fiancé.

The Dallas BBQ early bird special is $9.99 for 1, or $17.99 for 2 people so not bad for a complete meal price-wise. Each person gets a cup of chicken soup (chicken chunks, potatoes, carrots); cornbread; 1/2 chicken (add $2 for double breast); one side. Dark meat was fine. Found the breast meat dry though, so had to eat with bbq sauce (which was runny). My son asked for honey-basted (addtl $1) which helped keep the chicken moist. Crispy chicken sandwich meal ~$11 tasted alright accdg to my other son. Bacon mac n cheese was ordinary, @~$6.50. No free-refills for fountain drinks. Lots of seating. We went for lunch so was empty in the back. Located at Rego Center where there is a parking garage or get meter-parking in the area.

I felt nostalgic as I walked in. This place felt like the typical chain casual dining restaurant back in the late 2000s/early 2010s. The chicken and baby back ribs were flavorful. There wasn't much meat on the baby back ribs, but the whole dish was filling (mostly because of the potato). The chicken fell off the bone. The cornbread wasn't a particular stand out. The service was efficient, and it wasn't too difficult to flag a staff member down.

Even if the food was ok you shouldn't go there the bathrooms all of them where disgusting it says alot of the place when u go to a place that all the toilets are with pipi pupu blood in the toilet without flushing the toilet toilet paper all over the toilets and floor i went to eat there and afterwards decided to go to the bathroom to pipi mind u i am disabled with a walker in the bathroom there is a place for the disabled it was with blood then i checked all of the toilets there pipi , pupu nobady flush the toilets all over toilet paper i complained. I can imagine one of the employees going to the bathroom touching our food and we all can be send to the hospital i suggest an inspector going to do some checking

Have been coming to this location for years & their delicious food & awesome service have never let me down. Have tried pretty much all their meals but I always come back to the chicken wings. Yes they are huge but dam they are delicious. Consistently yummy every time. Pls dont ever stop making them!

I used to go to the East Village location as a kid, and in my memory, it was a really good BBQ and large portions of everything. However, after many years, I would say the quality has gone downhill from there (or maybe it is just the Rego Park location?) I ordered a full chicken, which was super dry and small. I ordered a rack of ribs as well, not seasoned at all. If not for the BBQ sauce it was terrible. The bottom layer of ribs was so dry that the meat just stuck on the bone. The only things that tasted decent were the cornbread, baked potato and BBQ sauce.

Had a late dinner with my daughter & her coworkers. The atmosphere was casual; average noise. Our server was pleasant. I ordered the Beyond Burger with a salad & a side of fries. It was okay. Now, the virgin Pina Colada...that was da bomb! Sorta made up for the meal. Otherwise, it was okay to visit but not someplace I would frequent.

I've been here twice and can tell the meat is very fresh and well prepared. I can't even name a favorite, just loved everything! The meat staircase is definitely something to try - so many cuts and good portion size. You get two to three pieces of each protein. It's a great value. In the lobby area, on display is an old Guzheng (Chinese harp) along with various cuts of premium wagyu meat. The place was well ventilated and was surprised that I didn't leave smelling like it. Service (5/5): This is a self-cook, manning your own meat establishment. The food comes out prepared on trays at fairly quick speed. Burners worked well and were changed out when burned. The burner seemed small but we were able to cook fast enough to keep everyone happy. Food (4/5): For 6 of us (4F & 2M), we ordered just the right amount of food: Meat Lover's Stair Combo, Beef combo, veggie platter, 2 rice. I'd say that all of the meat was super tender but nothing stood out too much. None of the meat was marinated except for 1 meat in the stair combo that turned out to be everyone's favorite. For all that food it was about $40/pp. A free small cup of Hershey's vanilla ice cream at the end of the meal. Overall, had a great time and good food!

The venue is mostly outdoors with a few indoor tables and two bars. Drinks here are well priced and the specials are even better - I paid $5 for a tequila spritz last time I was here. The meat here is really tender and the sides absolutely slap. Even if you're coming here with a vegetarian there are solid options - the mac and cheese and cole slaw are my favorites. Also I never thought I'd be okay with paying $7 for pickles but the half sours here absolutely slap. Last time I went here I had the ribs which were huge and tender, and the jalapeno cheddar sausage that I def didn't need but it was so, so good. We ordered the Ferris Wheel Combo II, thoughtfully prepared as halal, making it an accessible option for those seeking dietary-compliant sharing platters. Let's be entirely candid: you do not come here strictly for a high-gastronomy masterclass. The food itself is pleasant, perfectly adequate, and entirely serviceable--though perhaps nothing too wildly extraordinary on its own. Rather, this is an establishment built entirely around theater and atmosphere. It is an experience best shared among a lively, larger group of friends where the energy of the room can carry the evening. While the sweeping views are delightful and the presentation is undeniably striking, the real draw here is the sheer visual spectacle. Come for the vibrant ambiance, bring your camera for the inevitable photo-op, and gather your favorite people to share in the fun.
