If I could give this place a 20/10 I would. Sweet Sap is a must-visit. The food was great and everything felt fresh. The wings were a standout, hitting that perfect balance of crispy and tender. I visited twice in one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) just because I couldn't get enough. 1000/10 will return

The place is so cute. I was like wait what?! I was greeted quickly. The server was nice. He was alone so the service was slower but also on his phone a bit. Food came out fast & it was delicious but I wasn't asked if I wanted anything else. A group of 4 did make a loud comment of "I really hungry"

Been here a couple times already and the food is great. It's always packed when I'm here so the service is a bit lacking. I do really like their outdoor covered seating section because they have beautiful string lights and earthy decor, but there's no staff downstairs so you have to wait quite a bit to get service if you're seated there. This is an Italian, Korean fusion spot and somehow they're able to get both cuisines right. Their stuffed shells were perfectly cheesy and with a nice tomato sauce. I really enjoyed their burgers and sandwiches. The shrimp burger is delicious and has big chunks of shrimp inside. The spicy chicken sandwich has a huge chunk of breaded chicken and the sandwich itself is too big for one sitting. I think the only miss for me would be the chocolate cake which is overly sweet, but may just be a preference thing.

This place was pretty decent a lot of sticky food. If you're into that for the most part, we liked everything a couple dishes were subpar. Not sure if I'll come back here. The service was great. The ambience was pretty cool. They have some outdoor areas where you could also sit.

This place looks like somebody's fancy home. It's decked out with lights in the front, and is definitely a nice place to bring your date. Believe it or not, this was a place I wanted to visit for over 7 years based on customer pictures and reviews. I bookmarked this restaurant 7 years ago, and then had kids, young kids... and wasn't able to visit until recently! It did not disappoint, the food was so flavorful, and the service was fast. The chicken wings is a must, its the perfect crunch moist combo. It very crunchy and crispy on the outside, but so moist and juicy on the inside. I came here on an overdue date with my wife when the kids were at school. As we ate our dishes, I knew that we had to bring our kids here. We eventually did and both of our kids loved all the dishes. My oldest child said she definitely wants her birthday at Sweet Sap in a few months. Truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, and chicken wings are a must for appetizers. Will be coming back very soon.

The birthday tour continues as we recount our lunch with our bestie Laurens. I never went here before and when I suggested it since I was going to be in Flushing, Laurens jumped to show me what The Sweet Sap had in store. We were able to pick where we wanted to sit as it wasn't too busy. There seemed to be few staff but they managed very well regardless. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. I knew we were getting Korean fusion dishes, but I'm not gonna lie, I was skeptical when I saw how cute the place was. Our food came out and proved me wrong. The stand out dish were the cheesy rice cakes. The bulgogi kale flatbread was a close second. I feel like it may have needed more sauce. What a great spot, in a solid location in Flushing, where I was able to find decent street parking. I'll be back for sure.

The food here is disappointing. My coworker ordered the katsu over rice, but it didn't taste fresh at all--it was stale and tough to chew. The chicken wings were tiny, especially compared to other Korean spots nearby. On the plus side, the restaurant has nice decor with fresh flowers out front, and service is quick. However, the staff wasn't very attentive--we had to flag them down to order, and they didn't note my request for less rice. Prices are on the higher side for a local place, and unfortunately, the quality doesn't match.

I'll start by saying this place has its perks and downsides. It's a cute place, with large covered outdoor seating, and up a large set of stairs, an indoor setting. They do have a nice variety on the menu, including salads, sandwiches, pasta and some Korean dishes. My grilled chicken sandwich was delicious, with fresh mozzarella and balsamic, with crispy, thin fries. My aunt had the chicken katsu curry, but she wasn't really impressed, it's described as a rice bowl, but more so just a plate with some rice, chicken cutlet and curry sauce poured on top. The service kind of brings it down, I don't think one person smiled, and anytime I asked for something, it was like pulling teeth. My water glass sat empty as well, never a refill. I've been here once before and had a much better experience, but this one let me down a bit.

Had a lunch date with Hubby here. First time dining here. The decor is so beautiful. The owners put a lot of time and money into it. There were three different locations to choose from to eat in. We chose the space that was to the left at the bottom of the steps. We checked out all three and felt that was the best with the nicest decor. Our waiter was super nice and extremely helpful. The food was great and the portions were good. We will definitely retirn in the future.

I have been 2 times and, The food was absolutely amazing!! The soy garlic wings were soooo good. The Duce de leche French toast was one of the best French toasts I have ever had. The service was great and the staff was nice. The overall appearance of the sweet sap is very welcoming and cozy. Would recommend for any meal! Will definitely continue to come back!

Came back with a group of 8. Service quick and food came out quickly overall. Very delicious. Just wish they would come to check if we needed more drinks after the entrees were served.

The food here is awesome, and all of the staff are very polite. The bartender also made my alcoholic beverage delicious. I told him to make the Pacific breeze drink frozen, and he said he never made it frozen but he will attempt to do it and it was awesome. The prices are very reasonable. I will most definitely come back to this restaurant.

I came in during the last hour before closing, and I was honestly expecting to feel rushed but it was the complete opposite. The staff was so welcoming and made me feel comfortable the entire time, never once making me feel like I had to hurry. On top of that, the food was absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth it. Great service like this really stands out. I'll definitely be coming back with friends

It was a bit of a sweet & savory mix, but not strong in either sweet or salty flavors. There was also this persimmon snack that was filled with nuts and other things.
