Samba BBQ is a version of Brazilian steakhouse offering various types of meats that is right in front of you, in addition to a salad and hot food station. We were in search of cocktails with our AYCE BBQ and were pleasantly surprised to find this little spot. Although the place looked rather small with tables quite close to each other, their drink menu was enticing. Needless to say, we grabbed a few drinks, said yes to every cut of meat offered to us, and ate to our heart's content. Sadly, no photos of the food were taken before they were eaten. Above all was the bartender who personally came over to ask us our opinions of the drinks and tailored each drink to our taste. Everything was reasonably priced from the drinks ($13 pp) to the steak dinner ($39.95 pp). If I had to say one thing, it would be to add more options in the hot food/salad bar.

I'm not a big steak person and I've never had Brazilian BBQ, so I was convinced to try Samba BBQ due to the great value of AYCE $40pp compared to much higher Manhattan prices. There was a rotation of around 8-9 meat options when I went on a Saturday afternoon. The cook ranged from medium to well-done, so some meats were either a bit chewy or too dry. The first round of non-repeated meats came out quickly (not sure if it was because there were only 2 tables here at the time), and some pieces were quite large. I would have preferred to only get small pieces so I can figure out which ones I like before getting too full. My favorite pieces were the pork chops and the grilled chicken. These pieces were consistently good throughout the rotations. There is also a salad and hot foods section for you to change up your palate in between meat pieces. After the first round, we were asked which meats we wanted again. I enjoyed the grilled pineapple at the end. The staff was friendly.

First time here and have to say meat is quite good. Waiter serving the meat came by often to offer us more steak. Salad bar had good selections. Service was good as well. Too bad it's too far for me to come more often.

A tucked away restaurant in Flushing. It appears to have opened last year? The hostess greeted us warmly and was seated right away. The meats brought to our table was flavorful. First rounds of non repeated meats came out super quick. For $40 per person for all-you-can-eat, especially meats it is definitely worth returning to! Also, that pineapple, it is gonna get me thinking about it for days.

    Chimichurri steak was our favorite

Samba BBQ is a lovely addition to the area - unassuming from the outside but super cozy and inviting once you are inside. We came in between lunch and dinner on a Sunday and upon getting seated, we were instructed to help ourselves to the hot/cold buffet bar. Everything was freshly stocked and I couldn't help but try a little bit of everything although I would recommend being strategic here in order to get your money's worth of unlimited bbq :) as soon as we were back at the table, the bbq meats came out... the pace was super fast for me as we were the only table for a bit and I didn't have any more room on my plate. You could tell the meats are high quality and well seasoned, our favorite was the chimichurri steak and we asked for seconds. The owner is so also super friendly and kept coming by to check how we were doing and refilling our bread baskets and sauces. I would say for the price and quality of food, this is a steal for Brazilian BBQ and I would highly recommend to anyone but remember to come hungry!

    Flan-the best!

Great tasty selection of 15 types of meats. Awesome lemongrass pork chops better than all the local Vietnamese restaurants.

    Is there a time limit?

Yes, but you can get pretty full in 90 minutes.

Do you have a parking lot or street parking? Thanks !

Sorry, we do not have a parking lot. Street parking or metered parking is available. Thanks.

Hi! What is the pricing for lunch and dinner? And is there separate pricing for children?

Our AYCE price is $39.95 and $24.95 for children under 12 years. We are open from 5pm to 10pm Tuesday to Saturdays. Sundays we are open from 12pm to 9pm.

For Samba BBQ's AYCE (All You Can Eat) steak, do they ration the food meaning give a little and you have to wait a few minutes when you complete your dish or are they generous and serve you often and a lot? $39.95 and 90 minutes.

We serve meats non stop until you say stop. Thanks.

While the persimmon cake SEEMED to be made in house, it was very clear that everything off their food menu required minimal preparation (ie. for the dumplings, it was just har cow). I also thought their cocktails were okay, and out of the three we got, none stood out to me. I did enjoy their tea, however. But, it was also fairly expensive for what it was (~$50). Overall, I thought this spot was okay for the price and I'm not sure I would return.

It was a bit of a sweet & savory mix, but not strong in either sweet or salty flavors. There was also this persimmon snack that was filled with nuts and other things. It was slightly sweet, very unique, and both paired well as a tea time snack. They're also open until 11:30pm! It was three oysters, similar to Crown Shy except I wasn't a huge fan of the flavoring here. The nigiri sauce didn't really elevate the flavor of the oysters much as they're already a slightly salty food and a soy sauce sort of just added more salt to it. I think a bit more kick was needed to enhance the flavor profile. The handroll set was pretty good, I liked the spicy tuna the best, then the salmon and then the yellowtail the least. In order, I'd probably give the spicy tuna a 9/10, salmon 8/10 and yellowtail 7/10. However, the tiramisu was fantastic, one of the best tiramisus I have had, creamy, good notes of coffee flavor and wasn't overly sweet. Our server was also very friendly, she showed us how to properly eat the handrolls which was nice. The place also has a nice vibe to it, very relaxing and not too loud or overly grand.

You can tell she genuinely cares about people having a good experience, and that kind of service is rare. Her gin and tonic was perfectly balanced -- crisp, refreshing, and honestly one of the best I've had. And the green tea shots? Dangerous in the best way possible. Smooth, flavorful, and way too easy to keep ordering because they go down so well. Joyce makes them with consistency and a little extra flair that makes the whole experience feel special. Food-wise, I highly recommend the pork dumplings -- flavorful, perfectly cooked, and the ideal pairing with drinks.
