Not a busy Sunday night, probably because of the bad weather, but that worked in our favor! We came straight from a long, fun (and exhausting) day at New York Comic Con and were definitely hangry. Our server Johnny was awesome -- super attentive and kept our plates full, bringing out all kinds of meats. Portions were generous, and every cut was high quality and cooked perfectly. At $53 per person, it feels like you get more than you pay for. My favorites were the skirt steak and top sirloin -- so juicy and flavorful! The sangria was amazing too and paired perfectly with all the meats. Great service, great food, and overall a fantastic experience. What a perfect way to end our Comic Con weekend!

Great experience. The salad bar is fully stocked with rice, pasta, salad, and all kinds of goodies that I filled up on before the meats came to our table. The servers were very attentive and very kind coming around our large table as there was limited space (we went on a Friday night for dinner and it was packed). The pineapple is to die for! Highly recommend getting it. And the chocolate cake was the perfect way to cap off the meal. Really good dining! Leaving fully satisfied. Not to mention during the holidays they go all out for the decor - so many lights and trees and ornaments/decorations!

Excellent meal and service. My family came at opening and had the place pretty much to ourselves. Our waiter, Johnny M, was fantastic! Very attentive and informative of what to get.

This is THE legendary JOHNNY! Bringer of meat and joy and great service!

Where to begin? Johnny is legendary! He is SOOO the man. Anything we needed, super attentive and pleasant. His sauce suggestions as well, right on the money every time. Did I forget to mention Ramiro? Another angel with lots of meat on a stick! The buffet is AMAZE-Balls! Ceviche AND Shrimp cocktail! It's worth the price JUST for the buffet (and the can't miss cheese balls!) but do NOT miss the roasted Pineapple! Tastes like cake! So amazingly sweet and savory. Will be back for SURE!

Johnny with excellent service and when needed certain meat he brought us without hesitation. Thank you!

Came here to grab something to eat with the family. It cost more than I expected but we had a good time. The food was okay. The service wasn't bad either. I was just battling a cold so my experience was as great as I wanted it to be. Overall it was just okay for me.

Good food but a bit expensive. Nice host and a very friendly staff as well as the location, which is a few blocks from where I live

I came here with two of my friends and my husband. We had a wonderful time and lots of good food! The place is beautiful. There is a lovely entrance and a private parking lot with valet, which was great. We were seated right away. The hostess and serve were were very friendly. We really enjoyed the whole experience. There is a whole appetizing station with French fries, onion rings, salads, chicken fingers, rice, shrimp, etc. The servers come around with duck, pork, wings, beef, pig, brisket, and pineapple. I have to say, my absolute favorite was the grilled pineapple and the brisket. We all left very full and very happy with the experience. I would for sure go back!

Came here with a huge group to celebrate a birthday. I think I ate enough meat to last me a lifetime. Gauchos came often, and were efficient. As we were a large party, meats ran out quickly. But they would assure us that they'd return with a fresh batch and they'd promptly do. But my absolute favorite was their cheese bread. Oh my gosh, this was so freakin good. Our side of the table ordered like three baskets of these.

I've gone to Brazilian steakhouses in Manhattan and they do not hold a candle to this establishment. The decor is stunning. The restaurant is huge. It was so beautifully decorated for the holidays. The buffet is available for you. There was sooooooooooo many options!! Shrimp, rice, salads, the different sauces, vegetables, fruits, etc. Every one of the dish was delicious. Obviously you come for all you can eat meat and we were blown away. A ton of pork options which I didn't eat, but my friend enjoyed. We loved all the cuts of meat and they come out quick. Our waitress was sweet and brought out fresh Pão de queijo (the cheese balls). They were piping hot and scrumptious. We both enjoyed the Caipirinha drinks. But the star of the meal was the pineapple. Normally pineapple has a very strong flavor. But here they roasted it. Omfg first you get the fruit flavor then the burst of sweetness. It was so good. Initially we thought of getting dessert but we skipped it to get more of the pineapple. We must have had 10 pieces, it truly is the highlight of the meal. Staff was very prompt and courteous. Always walking by asking if you need anything and will clear your plates. If you enjoy steakhouses, come here. You will be blown away by the experience. I will definitely return again.

The buffet table was smaller than at the TS location and there seemed to be less choices. But the thing we were most disappointed about was the inconsistency with service - we kept waiting for the meat to come to our table but we kept seeing the servers going to other tables (on the outsides, and we were in the middle part of the dining area), then leaving and therefore skipping us. It was not just one server but multiple servers, they clearly have a problem with making sure all tables get the same service or number of stops. We eventually had to flag down someone to ask to be served. The meat served was also mostly the cheaper cuts, even though it's a holiday and everyone in our party was playing full charcuterie experience price. We were all disappointed with the quality of the meat. I'll still go to Fogo but I'll not be coming back to this location for sure.

For those who require animal protein, smoked salmon and chicken salad were available, as well as pork at the Feijoda bar. Speaking of which, I wasn't a fan of that section. The Feijoda was too salty while the lentil soup was too bland. The ambiance was elegant and staff were professional. It had an oddly fishy taste when it should've been rich and buttery. It also lacked proper seasoning, so we ended up sending it back. For the entree, we ordered the dry aged porterhouse, priced at nearly $200. We asked for medium, but it came out well done, which was a letdown. The chimichurri didn't taste authentic, and while the signature steak sauce was fine, it wasn't anything memorable. We also ordered a side of bacon, which was decent but I've had better. The chili prawn noodles were another miss. It came with only four shrimp, wasn't spicy at all, and used spaghetti noodles, which felt off for the dish. The only real highlights were the creamed spinach and shishito peppers. Those were solid and you just can't go wrong with it. At best, I'd recommend coming here for the cocktails and the view. The food alone doesn't justify it. I added an extra star strictly because of the service. Shirley was excellent. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and gave great wine recommendations. The food is good, plating is great, everything cooked as ordered and came out on time. The steak, bacon, and pasta are all great choices. The place also looks nice and clean. The negatives for me are: you have to be aware of the prices because for some reason, there was an extra dollar added to some items. They fixed it when we pointed it out but it's more about the principle. Also, if you are in Flushing, you do have many great options for more reasonable prices. This is clearly an upscale hotel's restaurant with a nice view, weather permitting but most people in Flushing are not looking for a higher price tag. With that, the portion sizes are more for plating purposes. Good luck with parking, public transit or ride share is sort of necessary to get here. Overall, this is not a bad spot to go to, just a bit mismatched with its current environment. Also, if you do go, find the elevator and take it to the 12th floor to find the entrance. That may not be clear.
