Not a busy Sunday night, probably because of the bad weather, but that worked in our favor! We came straight from a long, fun (and exhausting) day at New York Comic Con and were definitely hangry. Our server Johnny was awesome -- super attentive and kept our plates full, bringing out all kinds of meats. Portions were generous, and every cut was high quality and cooked perfectly. At $53 per person, it feels like you get more than you pay for. My favorites were the skirt steak and top sirloin -- so juicy and flavorful! The sangria was amazing too and paired perfectly with all the meats. Great service, great food, and overall a fantastic experience. What a perfect way to end our Comic Con weekend!

Excellent meal and service. My family came at opening and had the place pretty much to ourselves. Our waiter, Johnny M, was fantastic! Very attentive and informative of what to get.

Great experience. The salad bar is fully stocked with rice, pasta, salad, and all kinds of goodies that I filled up on before the meats came to our table. The servers were very attentive and very kind coming around our large table as there was limited space (we went on a Friday night for dinner and it was packed). The pineapple is to die for! Highly recommend getting it. And the chocolate cake was the perfect way to cap off the meal. Really good dining! Leaving fully satisfied. Not to mention during the holidays they go all out for the decor - so many lights and trees and ornaments/decorations!

Johnny with excellent service and when needed certain meat he brought us without hesitation. Thank you!

Came here to grab something to eat with the family. It cost more than I expected but we had a good time. The food was okay. The service wasn't bad either. I was just battling a cold so my experience was as great as I wanted it to be. Overall it was just okay for me.

Good food but a bit expensive. Nice host and a very friendly staff as well as the location, which is a few blocks from where I live

I came here with two of my friends and my husband. We had a wonderful time and lots of good food! The place is beautiful. There is a lovely entrance and a private parking lot with valet, which was great. We were seated right away. The hostess and serve were were very friendly. We really enjoyed the whole experience. There is a whole appetizing station with French fries, onion rings, salads, chicken fingers, rice, shrimp, etc. The servers come around with duck, pork, wings, beef, pig, brisket, and pineapple. I have to say, my absolute favorite was the grilled pineapple and the brisket. We all left very full and very happy with the experience. I would for sure go back!

Comfortable atmosphere and great service. Johnny was our food server and did a great job making sure we had enough to eat. Had a great Father's Day dinner! Thank you! Our fav cuts of meat were: short ribs, brisket, skirt steak, pork belly, grilled pineapple. Excellent salad bar- could use a bit more cheese variation. The cooked food at the buffet was a underwhelming, the stews meats/ seafood was overcooked, but the cooked vegetables was delicious. Katherine b. Was an amazing wait staff very attentive and consistently check on us.

Came here with a huge group to celebrate a birthday. I think I ate enough meat to last me a lifetime. Gauchos came often, and were efficient. As we were a large party, meats ran out quickly. But they would assure us that they'd return with a fresh batch and they'd promptly do. But my absolute favorite was their cheese bread. Oh my gosh, this was so freakin good. Our side of the table ordered like three baskets of these.

Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse is considered an upscale complete with table linens, celebratory atmosphere, and "all-you-can-eat" venue, typically with a bustling, energetic Southern Brazilian cuisine, serving churrasco barbecue style meats and traditional side dishes. This location is in Elmhurst, Queens, NYC and adjacent to Queens Center Mall where patrons can shop and subsequently conclude the day with a wonderful meal. Party of two for "All For One Price" continuous, fire-roasted cuts brought to your table, endless sides, and seasonal specialties from the Market Table - all for one price. The "Market Table" is a open buffet which includes fruits, vegetables, and seafood. This Market Table is very large. Food is very fresh and abundant readiness. I made the mistake to ruin my appetite with crackers mere hour before sitting at our table. Fire roasted meat distribution to table and carved with patrons catching a piece using a tong. Fogo is a meat lover's paradise for a heavy steak meal. The bottom sirloin or bacon wrapped steak, is noted by Yelpers, always dry. The parmesan crusted pork is flavorful and surprisingly juicy. I highly enjoyed the salmon and Caesar salad. The Green Card system is a signaling device used in traditional Brazilian service, known as Churrasco which allows patrons to control the pace of a meal of the "all-you-can-eat" buffet experience. Green Side (Go): When you place the card with the green side facing up, it signals the Gaucho chefs that you want to continue receiving service. Continuous Service: Chefs will frequently visit your table to carve various fire-roasted meats directly onto your plate, including signature cuts like Picanha (top sirloin), Filet Mignon, Ribeye, and lamb chops. Red Side (Stop): When you need a break or are finished, you turn the card to the red side to signal the chefs to stop. Rosé, Montes "Cherub" Colchagua Valley, Chile Dry, seductive, and elegant, it is a very smooth good finish. This wine may me float. I always have a predilection for wine. Caipirinha, Brazil's national cocktail This drink is made with cachaça (a sugar cane), hard liquor, sugar and lime with ice. It's refreshing for my friend. Chocolate Molten cake with vanilla ice cream One word: WOW! Customer service is very attentive and polite with kindness in a celebratory positive mood. Our party of two were inquired if we needed anything during mid-dinning experience and my friend requested Brazilian grilled cheese, espetinhos de queijo with honey. Pão de queijo, Brazilian cheese puff bread is served. High ceilings and there is a large relief statue of Antônio Caringi, Brazilian sculptor (1905-1981). Business cards and mints are abundantly available for grabs. I strongly suggest table reservations in advance, particularly for weekends and holidays as this large dining hall was bewilderingly very quickly filled as we dined on extreme artic cold February, Saturday. Every day can be one's birthday celebration. I think being alive with another tomorrow is a reason to be celebratory. I would surely return for another visit - enter empty stomach.

It is an all you can eat setup for a flat fee of around $30, with roughly 90 minutes to work through as much as you want. I will be honest -- I have mixed feelings about the time limit format. At that point it is not really all you can eat, it is all you can eat within a window. The other consideration is that the meats cook at their own pace in the BBQ pit, which naturally slows things down regardless of how hungry you are. That said, my wife and I were both satisfied by the end of the meal. We ate our fill and left happy, which is ultimately the goal. The food was genuinely good -- good enough that I actually enjoyed this meal more than some of the higher end Korean BBQ spots I have visited. That says something. I will be back.
