They had way more variety like rabbit and a bigger seafood selection. Now at $56 per adult, the buffet options feel very limited, so you mostly end up sticking to salad and the churrascaria meats. That said, the kids absolutely loved trying all the different meats and the waiters were very attentive. The restaurant itself feels cozy and welcoming. My only big complaint... the bathroom downstairs is freezing cold -- literally feels like going outside in the winter . Been here many times and the food is great and service is great! However, went here recently and it started to lack a bit. Went for a birthday during the artic freeze and it was so cold inside! Had to eat with my scarf on and the water in the bathroom to wash your hands were freezing.... felt like I was dipping my hands in frozen thundra. The salad bar/hot foods were minimal and not much variety. Was so much better other times but guess they toned it down that night because they weren't expecting much patrons in 17 weather. What really turned me off was the sneakiness of the server. She asked what cake we wanted for the birthday boy, so I chose a cheesecake and was very surprised to see the charge for it on the bill. My partner is Brazilian, and I wanted to bring him here as a surprise. Unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed. At the buffet, after picking up a plate, I noticed that both the front and back were dirty. I checked the next plate in the stack, and it was dirty as well--along with several others. It was honestly quite disgusting and immediately off-putting. The restaurant also seems primarily catered to Spanish-speaking clients. Only Spanish music was playing, and many of the dishes were not Brazilian. We even asked if anyone spoke Portuguese, and we were told that nobody really does and that there is no Brazilian staff. For the price, it was also disappointing that dessert wasn't included, especially since in Brazil dessert is typically part of the experience. Also, no free refills on sodas at $3 a pop? Come on... While we did leave feeling full, it wasn't the best meal we've had. The quality of the meats could have been better, and overall the experience fell short of expectations. Unexpectedly amazing! The food here is delicious! And while you do have a good selection, I feel like other similar style restaurants offer more options for both meat and the food bars. I would not recommend this place at all on top of it. I've been here several times and I do consider this place one of the best in Queens for Brazilian bbq. Why only 3-stars then? Mostly for inconsistent selection of meats. My favorites are always: picanha, beef ribs, pork ribs. Very often they will have picanha, but it's always always always difficult to get the beef ribs! I understand they rotate the meat selection, and sometimes have different offerings, but there should be a base selection of at least 10 meats that are always available. The price has gone up to $50pp, so my expectation is not unreasonable. With tax and tip (no drinks!!) we were well over $60pp. Similar places in NJ are still under $50 for far larger selection of meats. This time around they had: parmesan chicken, beef shish kebabs, sausages (pork and chicken), beef short rib, brisket, sirloin, skirt steak, pork belly. Selection was okay, but they didn't come around often with the more expensive cuts, and kept trying to get us full with the cheaper ones. We repeatedly had to ask for the cuts we wanted and had to request more than 2x to even get it. The buffet here is pretty good. The selection of salads, ceviches, fried foods, and others is quite large compared to other places. I'd say the only place it really can't compare to is Fogo de Chao. The service is so-so. They only had 1 server for 10 tables, so it took a while to get his attention for drink refills and even the check. This is significantly worse than previous which is a bit unacceptable given the price point of the restaurant. Overall I don't think you get what you pay for here any longer. Meat is still decent, but are you willing to fork out over $60? read more

I came here with two of my friends and my husband. We had a wonderful time and lots of good food! The place is beautiful. There is a lovely entrance and a private parking lot with valet, which was great. We were seated right away. The hostess and serve were were very friendly. We really enjoyed the whole experience. There is a whole appetizing station with French fries, onion rings, salads, chicken fingers, rice, shrimp, etc. The servers come around with duck, pork, wings, beef, pig, brisket, and pineapple. For those wondering the difference between Fogo and Rainhas, know this - the service here is unmatched. Johnny is phenomenal, & truly made our whole dining experience with his friendly attitude and incredible service. Rainhas is generous in their meat offerings, & they don't skimp on the portions either. Want the beef rib bone? Done. A few more slices of picanha? No problem. Salad bar and hot food offerings are also plentiful, although Fogo may have a greater variety of cheeses. Also, the grilled pineapple here is YUM - trust me on this one and get it, even if you're not the biggest fan of cinnamon. As I already knew where they placed my car keys outside on Top of the car wheel " which by the way isn't right They claim it's a safety issue the fact that I got in my car" I have 2 kids with the age less then 4 years old so yeah my priority is to get my super tired kids in there seats. The individual had a very nasty attitude approached me screaming from across the parking lot, calling me names and even like that I told him " man if it's about the tip, I was still gonna tip you. He replied by saying "I don't give a F&@$ about your tip" & continued being rude yelling , he claimed it was a safety issue. The last time I went there the same guy attend me and didn't even come out of his car and just pointed at the keys" that's how I knew where they were placed this time around. The manager was no help basically washing her hands by saying they have nothing to do with them because they are hired by a second party and didn't really apologies or anything. How ever I was given the number to the Company of the valet parking . I will file a compliant .Rainhas yours employee's are a reflection and representation of your establishments and with events & individuals like this it's not a good look. The meats were basic meats and I wasn't a fan of them bringing out chicken wings and the parmesean crusted chicken was dark meat, wasn't a fan. Parking is a little difficult if your looking for street parking, but they do have valet parking which we took advantage off. Finally had a chance to try this place. We had a reservation for 6 people and they're so nice to hold our table even we're 15 minutes late. This place offer valet parking which you just have to give tip which is pretty good deal. Parking is free but of course be nice to give some tip.
