This place had great food, great Ambiance and our server was extraordinary. Her name is sydeny and she made the best drinks ive ever had. The food she recommended us was great and the medium rare ribeye was by far my favorite. The sides we had were mac n cheese and lobster tail, all good as well. I believe everything was up to par and to close it off she recommended we drink her classic bourbon apple drinks and walk around the walkway with the skyline. Absolutely 11/10 experience and Sydney made it possible!
Came in on a Sunday. This restaurant is located inside the rutherson's hotel. In a flushing, Queens definitely try to get there like 30 minutes to an hour early. Because finding parking can be a little bit difficult. Once you come in, there's elevators. Take you to the 12th floor to the rooftop. The views are amazing, from the water view to the city skyline. To the airport that you can see airplanes coming in for a landing. Everything is just a really good vibe. The music was also a vibe and the ambiance of the whole restaurants is very romantic and seclusive. The food was really good, but I didn't really like the drinks, especially the mocktails.They weren't personally something I would reorder, but everything else is A+
Great experience I would certainly come back here. The food was delicious, meats were fresh came out hot and sizzling which was a great aesthetic to the meal. The drinks were good I tried the mango mezcal and for apps I had the crab cake which was perfect! I tried the cream spinach and ginger link potatoes both delicious. The ambiance was lovely, atmosphere was quiet and intimate with a modern look. The service was good servers were attentive and made great recommendations.
It was my girlfriends birthday & I must say the rooftop was the perfect place for use to dine. With the NYC skyline & LGA airport near by, between the lights & watching planes land, it was great. We had the Roasted Bone Marrow & Lump Crab Cake for Apps, which were delightful. Then we both had a healthy NY strip with Mash, Creamed Spinach & Lobster Mac... which was AMAZING. To say the least, we will be back to try Brunch & maybe even a casual day at the bar. Thank you for the service ! 9/10
I was there last night and had a beautiful New York strip. Probably one of the best I've ever had . My sides were mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and cream spinach all delicious. When you go out on the rooftop, you could see Manhattan. It was beautiful. Service was outstanding. I will definitely be back.
I try different flavored mojitos and this place has one I hadn't tried before. Lemon Lavender! The perfect blend of bitter and sweet! The filet was perfectly seared, served on a skillet! Our server was amazing and had good suggestions for sides. For a hotel restaurant it was busy but not loud.
Located inside a hotel, this steakhouse has a stellar view of Queens and Manhattan. I only came for the rooftop and drinks, so I'm not able to say much about the food. On their rooftop, they have a live DJ (who was actually really good, and played tropical house), and a stellar view. The ambiance was great and it's a good spot for drinks with friends.
Ambiance was nice. Service was great! Lioni Burrata - not special but it was good, no complaints! Tuna Tartare - no complaints as well it was good! Steak was decent, it was cooked the way we wanted it so that's important. Green Garlic fried rice and Potato Putee was my favorite, they were quite good! Highly recommended! Got the macha cheesecake as well and it was good!
Had another lovely dinner here recently. The wait for our entrées was a little longer than usual, but it was a busy Saturday night and a packed house, so it's understandable.. it was well worth the wait. Everything was delicious as usual. Our waiter was efficient and very friendly. He brought out a platter of complementary desserts for us to choose from after our meal..even though I was counting calories, I could not resist!! Everything looked so good on the platter!l I went with the pumpkin cheesecake, and it was very, very good!! The manager Joseph also came to check on us, which we definitely appreciated! This restaurant is a true gem! Delicious high quality food and great service! Love it!
We recently hosted our baby shower at Prime Met with over 100 guests, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional, the ambience was elegant yet welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran seamlessly. One of the highlights of the day was the terrace with a stunning panoramic view of Flushing and the city. It created such a beautiful and memorable atmosphere for us and our guests. A special thank you to Maggie and Jerry, who were absolutely incredible to work with. They were extremely accommodating throughout the entire planning process; helping us design a custom menu, tailor the drink selection, and thoughtfully arrange the seating and table décor. Every detail felt intentional and beautifully executed. We couldn't be happier with our decision to host our event at Prime Met. If you're looking for a venue that delivers amazing food, a great atmosphere, and exceptional service, we highly recommend it.
Was here recently for a work/birthday get together. Parking can be tough since it's on the 12th floor of a hotel in downtown Flushing. Take advantage of their parking assistance. If you eat at the restaurant they will valet it for $8. That's about the only deal about this place. Do not expect to come on the cheap. We all tried a few steak types family style among 12 of us. The steaks were all very good. The sides were better. Especially the mashed potatoes, asparagus, and mushrooms. The staff was great and very friendly. The location is nice because you get a view of Queens from high up while eating. I would attend again.

We ordered the steak tartare, bone marrow, tuna tartare, sliders, crab cakes, chicken bites, and chicken wings for appetizers. For entrees we ordered the ribeye, branzino, lamb rack, filet mignon, and the chilli prawns noodles. For side we had the potatoe puree, creamed spinach,asparagus, mushrooms, Mac and cheese, and the fries. My favorites were the bone marrow, chicken wings, chicken bites, the tuna and steak tartare, and the mushrooms. The chicken wings had the perfect kick to them and Ribeyes were cooked to everyone's liking, mine only needed a little more salt and was too fatty. Everyone else loved theirs though. They were a good size that some shared their entrees. For side definitely order the potatoe dishes and mushrooms. So well done. The lycheetini and the lemon lavender mojito were the best drinks. I would come here for a date or a nice dinner with friends. Service was great and food tasted even better the next day.
Ambience is intimate, cozy, and feels fancy located on the rooftop next to Tangram Came here for my friends bday celeb and the waiter was very helpful in letting us know that there would be a cutting fee of $35 but they also gave us an option to cut the cake ourselves to avoid that!! Food was decent too. What we got: - dry aged tomahawk 4/5: juicy steak, love that it was enough flavor without the sauce and do prefer without the sauce but had better - ribeye 4/5: this was less juicy compared to the tomahawk but still good nonetheless - mash potatoes 5/5: this was surprisingly the star of the show, super buttery smooth and goes so well with the steak - Mac & cheese 3/5: felt mid, not cheesy enough either - mushroom 3.5/5: decent but also tasted too charred - Kale salad 4.5/5: usually not a big salad person but this was surprisingly yummy! - apples & pears drink 3/5: nothing special, nothing unique and def did not taste as refreshing as I would like it Overall it's a cute date spot, celebration location with the lovely ambience setting!

I would've given this place one star if it weren't for the service. Overall, the food was mediocre and pretty underwhelming. We started with the bone marrow, which was disappointing. It had an oddly fishy taste when it should've been rich and buttery. It also lacked proper seasoning, so we ended up sending it back. For the entree, we ordered the dry aged porterhouse, priced at nearly $200. We asked for medium, but it came out well done, which was a letdown. The chimichurri didn't taste authentic, and while the signature steak sauce was fine, it wasn't anything memorable. We also ordered a side of bacon, which was decent but I've had better. The chili prawn noodles were another miss. It came with only four shrimp, wasn't spicy at all, and used spaghetti noodles, which felt off for the dish. The only real highlights were the creamed spinach and shishito peppers. Those were solid and you just can't go wrong with it. At best, I'd recommend coming here for the cocktails and the view. The food alone doesn't justify it. I added an extra star strictly because of the service. Shirley was excellent. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and gave great wine recommendations. Very accommodating and genuinely pleasant, which made the experience better overall. read more
Let's start with the positives: The service is great. The servers were enthusiastic and not pushy, came often and got the orders correct. The food is good, plating is great, everything cooked as ordered and came out on time. The steak,bacon, and pasta are all great choices. The place also looks nice and clean. The negatives for me are: you have to be aware of the prices because for some reason, there was an extra dollar added to some items. They fixed it when we pointed it out but it's more about the principle. Also, if you are in Flushing, you do have many great options for more reasonable prices. This is clearly an upscale hotel's restaurant with a nice view, weather permitting but most people in Flushing are not looking for a higher price tag. With that, the portion sizes are more for plating purposes. Good luck with parking, public transit or ride share is sort of necessary to get here. Overall, this is not a bad spot to go to, just a bit mismatched with its current environment. Also, if you do go, find the elevator and take it to the 12th floor to find the entrance. That may not be clear. read more

Dinner with family!! Service was pretty good with Jennifer, she missed a few orders but did come to check on us several times!!! Atmosphere was nice, didn't get to sit on the rooftop area but the table we got had nice views!! Family members were craving steak but didn't want to go too far as we were visiting and staying in the area. Came here on a week night and was able to reserve via open table for party of 9. They did charge $10/pp ($90) to hold the reservation which will be used towards your bill. Location is beautiful, on top floor of Renaissance Hotel, rooftop views and outdoor seating available. FOOD- everyone in our party raved about their food, steaks (NY strip, porterhouse, rib eye, hangar steak, and fillet mignon) were cooked to everyone's liking and was perfect. Lamb racks with mushroom were delicious. Whole branzino very flavorful. Doesn't come with sides, they are extra, but had grilled asparagus, potato puree, fries, kale salad all which were great accompaniments. Dessert was average, not worth the price. Just go around the corner to Kulu desserts for a better variety and value. SERVICE- The restaurant was not full but maybe they were short staffed? I don't know. Our server Ashley was nice but not very attentive. Our libations took a very long time to get out and she even missed a drink (beer). The starters even came out before the drinks. Took awhile to flag her down for the bill. They automatically charge gratuity for party over 8 persons which is fine but at least have good service. Had to send the bill back as she didn't apply our reservation fee in the bill. All in all, took off 2 stars for service. Food was excellent, service not so great. read more

I came here for my Birthday Dinner and enjoyed my experience. Gia made my experience even better, she was attentive, nice and took my pictures which came out amazing! The food was good, I can suggest the Mac & Cheese be a little more flavored but I still enjoyed it. They gave me a complimentary birthday cake as well, it truly made my night! What can I say. Steak cooked exactly as I asked, Mac and cheese taste great, asparagus cooked well not over cooked. The server we had was attentive and quite nice. The ambiance was good for friend family or date night. I would go there again. A bit pricy but good experience. read more
I've been wanting to check this place out, and it has been bookmarked in my app for a while now. When I found out that someone was having their bday dinner here, I was down for it. This restaurant/ rooftop lounge is in a hotel, so it is a bit confusing since there's a separate entrance to the mall. Anyways, since we had a large party, we got the private room. It was super nice. Since we came as a group, we ordered many dishes to share. Such as the edamame with sea salt + lemon garlic butter. I savored the lemon garlic one and would've eaten the entire bowl by myself. The tuna tartare was appetizing, and it left you wanting more. The roasted bone marrow, which came with the short rib bread pudding, was flavorful. For main, I did enjoy the dry aged porterhouse along with the side of green garlic fried rice. I may have eaten too much rice because it was so scrumptious. Overall, I liked the sides more than the main dish. The service was something that could've been worked on. I had to ask for water multiple times, and my mango drink took around 30 minutes to be made. They need to work on being more timely with everything. read more

The family spent the NYE at this restaurant. Not so easy to locate since it looks like its part of the mall which it isn't. We were shown to our table right away since we made a reservation prior to coming in. All the food we ordered was mouth-watering, the steaks we ordered were cooked how we wanted them to be. For being a steakhouse I would expect their meat to be near to perfection. Unfortunately within our table of 9 guests, 3 of us had asked for mediums and received Rare steaks, one seemed to still be mooing. I give them 4 stars due to the decor and ambiance and the rooftop is the biggest seller. The mango mojito was a hit, very delicious. read more

Came here for a date night on my trip to NY! The restaurant itself looks very nice. We ordered their sliders and they were so good! We finished them and forgot to take a picture. The steak was good, I got the filet mignon and my partner did their hanger steak. The mac and cheese definitely hit the spot. Service was great, waitress was very attentive. If I come back to NY, I wanna come to this restaurant to experience their rooftop . read more
We came here for our 3 yr anniversary from a recommendation and for the life of us we couldn't find this place immediately which is really sad because we literally live in Flushing lol. After walking around in circles like dodos we FINALLY found the Renaissance hotel. This restaurant is on the rooftop so it's on the 12th floor - the decor was very nice and it felt like I was in the city. Spacious and open, some tables with high top seating which is the one I chose. The food was fine - I wasn't "blown away" but I was like okkkk not bad, not bad. We had the porterhouse & it did not have my eyes rolled to the back of my head in ecstasy but thankfully we shared it because I can't eat that much meat all by myself. The shrimp cocktail and oysters were fresh. Brussel sprouts were a good side but I have to say, the creamed spinach was wack. It was watery and tasted like black tea. It was so weird and disappointing considering I love spinach in every form. I loved the tiramisu! They put this chocolate funnel like thing right on top of the glass above the goods and you slowly pour in espresso, which melts it into the tiramisu. I thought that was a very interesting approach and it was SO good! I would highly recommend. Patty was our server & she was very sweet, attentive and helpful. She patiently helped take pictures for us much to my bfs dismay and embarrassment- he's not a big fan of pictures but it was our 3yr so I didn't hold back hahahaha suck it upppp Ken. We went out to the rooftop and it was beautiful! Patty came running and took more pictures of us there. Poor girl...she really came through. I could see myself on this rooftop with a glass of wine- I loved the entire layout. All in all, I would definitely come back here for a few drinks and dessert while chilling on the rooftop. I am curious to try other things on the menu but I'm not sure if I would have the steak again...and it's a steakhouse. Please do check out this place at least once the ambiance is too cute. My husband and I decided to try this place because of the bone marrow app and it was worth it! Very good service, we were seated right away and ordered our drinks, service was quick and the drinks were delicious. They ambiance was great, restaurant was quiet for the holiday weekend. The food was also on point. We had the roasted bone marrow and tuna tartare. Soooo good! We shared the ribeye, it was huge! Love the sides. We got the green garlic rice and marbled potatoes, but I actually wanted the puréed potatoes. They exchanged it right away and everything was delicious. Will definitely come again! read more

We got the bone marrow, shrimp cocktail, porterhouse, and a few sides. Everything was delicious and very well presented. The cocktails are pricey but you definitely get what you pay for because the mojito was about the size of a baby's head. Our server, Angel, was the sweetest. Always came to check on us and was so friendly. He even got us a little chocolate cake for my boyfriend's birthday. Don't think too much on it. It's a pricey spot but you are definitely getting what you pay for because the decor, ambiance, and cuisine is absolute perfection. I'm for sure coming back. This restaurant is located on the 12th floor of a skyrise, at the Renaissance Hotel. Service was very good. Attentive and warm staff. Menu options weren't overwhelming, easy to make a choice. We ordered 2 sides, a starter, and a steak to share among two people, and we had leftovers. The foraged mushrooms is a great pairing with the steak, I was dipping it in the steak oil for even more flavor. After it cools down, it gets a bit chewier, best to enjoy when it comes hot from the kitchen. The salad was alright, nothing crazy, needed to be paired with blue cheese dressing to cancel out the bitterness of the ends of the lettuce. The macaroni and cheese has a great flavor and texture, it is a popular side for a reason. Lastly, the Porter House steak cooked to medium came out in a sizzling plate and topped with sea salt, was very flavorful and tender, amazing. The steak sauce they provide if you ask for it is a light fresh version of the generic barbecue sauce you get elsewhere, and it is a secret recipe. We ate outside and had a beautiful view of the water and the city, very nice vibes. I will say you should eat the steak rather quickly before the meat sets and overcooks and isn't nearly as tender. Will need to try more on the menu before I can give a five star rating! read more

Okay, so I was tasked with finding a great spot for my sorority sister's birthday and since I have been meaning to come myself to this new steakhouse in Queens, NY I hopped on the chance to celebrate here. And honey, I don't want to overstate my exuberance but 'woo wee' I think sums up our experience! From the cocktails to the views we were in for a treat as if it was all our birthdays. Our server Sydney was awesome! Attentive and knowledgeable lending to our memorable dinner celebration. Great summer rooftop dining locale for groups and that romantic date. Yes, it's in Flushing so street parking can be challenging but there is a garage that can be validated (found this out a bit late but good to know for my return). read more

Wonderful meal. Our waitress, Shirley, was very polite and helpful. We started with fresh baked bread, along with herbed butter. The filet minions were served on a sizzling platter. Outstanding flavor . My wife paired it with a Cabernet, and I had an old fashioned, both excellent choices. The sides were the creamed spinach and asparagus, both which I would recommend.
