Amazing night at Haven Rooftop for New Years Eve 2026. Basic general standing admission with 5 hour open bar was between $150-200 depending on which package you bought. Tables were between $850-$$$ depending on what you buy. We got there early to take advantage of the bar and the 2 hours of passed food. We found a stand up table and was able to set up camp for the entire night. Made a few friends. It was a great place to celebrate with my partner and the price was great considering how much we had to drink. We definitely saved money. Decorated so cutely for NYE 2026!! They had cute props and a champagne toast at midnight. TV's on Dick Clark's Rocking NYE. 4/5 because they said they had an outdoor area but there was not one. Very respectful staff. Haven Rooftop - Exactly what we needed for our last night in NYCI was determined to leave New York on a high note without completely destroying my wallet, and Haven Rooftop delivered on every level. Check-in is downstairs at street level. Once your table is ready, the elevator whisks you straight up to the rooftop. (Pro tip: Don't do what I did and try to "man" your way up without asking directions. I ended up on the wrong elevator and climbing two extra flights of stairs before swallowing my pride and asking for help!) We started with the Charcuterie Board, and I was genuinely impressed. It was generous, beautifully arranged, and filling enough to be a solid starter for our family of 3. Everything tasted fresh and high-quality. Next came the Watermelon & Feta Salad. I was skeptical at first, but it turned out to be the star of the night -- sweet, salty, refreshing, and honestly the best summer salad I've ever had. I'm already planning to recreate it for our next potluck. The girls both ordered the Salmon with French Fries. The salmon was cooked perfectly (moist and flaky) and the fries came piled high and crispy. I went with the Sesame Seed Crusted Tuna (medium-rare, exactly as requested). It was outstanding -- beautifully seared, paired with a mesclun and seaweed salad, lemon vinaigrette, and spicy mayo. The flavors worked incredibly well together. The view is solid but not jaw-dropping -- you get nice mid-level sights of the city rather than the sweeping panorama you'd pay a premium for at a place like The View. It's also a little loud and crowded (as most popular rooftops are), but the energy actually added to the fun. We loved the vibe. Most importantly, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. By the end of the night we felt like regulars.Haven Rooftop is now firmly on our "must return" list. Also, our server was kind and attentive. 2nd star is specifically for the drink Solstice because that was the best thing out of everything we ordered. The ambiance was nice. I've been wanting to visit Haven Rooftop for a while because of the cute decor and I finally did on a weekend night. I'd suggest reserving because it did get busy but they have bar seating in case you're just dropping in. The place wasn't AS packed as it got later in the night when me and my gf came but the service wasn't the best. You can tell our waiter was running around but he was really nice. Our table was lopsided so we asked the manager if it can be fixed and she said yes and walked away but never ended up fixing it... We decided to order an appetizer which was the tuna tartare and it was a solid app. I like that they paired it with wonton because it's crunchier. I definitely don't think the size is worth the $24 cost. We ordered drinks too and they were pretty good but I liked my gf's more. She ordered the Solstice while I had the Cloudtini, which is basically a lychee martini. We were looking at the food menu and didn't really care for anything on it, especially not for the pricing. I also saw bad reviews about the food so I was hesitant. We decided to move to the bar and they accommodated us quickly and we just got more Solstice drinks! I'd say A+ for drinks and decor. Most of the table ordered margaritas, I opted for a Prosecco. I ordered the burger with truffle fries ($2 up-charged). Burger was pretty good. I could only eat half. Truffle fries were great. I'm so happy we made a reservation for brunch. It looked so cute from the outside (we could see the restaurant from our hotel) and it was. It's of course on a rooftop, with pops of color from the flowers sprinkled throughout for decoration. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros based off the our server's recommendation and I'm glad I did. It had a nice healthy portion of avocado and the sauce was full of flavor. My friend had the bacon, egg, cheese sandwich which she liked but thought was kind of plain. The Haven Rooftop restaurant is near Rockefeller Center and offers a pleasant dining experience for anyone visiting the area (or locals, like us!). It's got skylight ceilings and a great bar, and lots of tables. We came on Christmas Day and started with margaritas (excellent) and Haven's guac and chips (some of the best we've had in a while). Their lunch menu included their signature sliders, egg sandwiches, steak & eggs, and margarita pizza. Everything was delicious and served promptly by friendly staff. It's a touch pricey, but it's rooftop dining! We had a great time and look forward to dinner there soon. read more

My second time at this place. The last experience was during nighttime. I recommended the place during today's daytime dining after watching a show in NBC. We made a walked in visit and lucky to get seats. The view is not as magnificent in comparison to other rooftops in midtown but descent enough to get a fun time. It is the closest rooftop from Rockefeller center. The dining area is a bit small. Food is alright but cocktails are great. They have party section for any private events. I visited Haven Rooftop as a quick food stop after viewing Sinners. We arrived, and the first doorman was so pleasant, I asked if we needed a reservation, he stated "No no go right in" and let us in without an issue. Then as we proceeded to second doorman who had the tablet, he looked us up and down, asked if we had a reservation, I stated no and he told me they weren't taking walk-in's. So as we were walking out I came on Yelp which directed me to open table, there were open reservations from 5pm (it was 4:43pm) until closing, I booked a reservation for 5pm. And just as I did that the first doorman, who was very welcoming, asked us why were we leaving and stopped us so that he can see what the issue was inside , which I really appreciated. But being that I had just made a reservation I told him and was fixing to go back in anyway. This whole ordeal which may not have seemed major, really annoyed me, especially seeing that once we got upstairs the majority of the guests did not "look like us". Anyway, Once we got upstairs the staff was pleasant and waiters were attentive. The restaurant was nice, simple and chic. The food was overpriced yet not the best tasting. I usually take pictures of my food but I was annoyed. But the pizza tasted blah, the truffle fries were good, and the calamari was just ok. I would not return to Haven. read more

Getting a reservation on OpenTable wasn't too difficult fortunately and the location is pretty convenient (right in the heart of times square). The restaurant shares an entrance with two other restaurants so there are a few people directing foot traffic to get people onto the elevator upstairs. Once upstairs, we arrived at the rooftop. The vibe was trendy but casual. The menu had the usual brunch items. I thought the prices were in line with similar restaurants in the area,though some items were more expensive, including drinks. I ordered the avocado toast, which was pretty basic. The toast had a slight citrusy flavor which I wasn't crazy about. My friend had the sliders and truffle fries, which smelled pretty good. Both of our orders came out quickly. At the end, they brought us a check, but the check was not itemized. When we asked if they could bring an itemized receipt, they never brought it to us. Not a huge deal, but it wasn't my favorite place. I don't think I'd come back. There are too many other nice places to try. read more

It was easy to make a reservation on Open Table here. The food was excellent. I would recommend the roasted cauliflower appetizer. It was very unique and excellent! We sort of started off with a bad first impression, because the hostesses were inexperienced and not well-trained (like--when you walk up to the hostess stand to ask a question, and the hostesses are just talking among themselves and don't notice you--that is a little frustrating), but the food made up for it. Always in search of a great rooftop and when I checked Yelp, I saw that I was right across the street. Located at the top of the Sanctuary hotel on 47th st between 6th and 7th. The hotel has a European - Bougie vibe with beautifully crafted front doors and a doorman to let you inside. We did not have a reservation, which is highly recommended, but it was only 4:00 so my new buddy at the front door let us in and told us to go to the front desk. The inside of the hotel is beautiful. Dimly lit with magnificent crystal chandeliers. Front desk staff was nice and said we could go up to the top, but we could only sit at the bar and that was fine with us. So far...very impressive...even to the point, I would stay here. Now for the rooftop... there is no view, and there is no air. It's pretty and nicely decorated, but it was VERY warm the day we were there. We just had drinks at the bar, and service was good. Truthfully, you go to a rooftop bar for the views, if you only see sides of buildings... go elsewhere. If I go back, I will reserve a table for dinner on the other side because I think there are better views on that side. read more
