The views are amazing. I had 2 drinks here. The first one was not good (hibiscus mojito) but the second one was. This is a great spot on a nice day. Great rooftop views with the option to sit outside. There is also a small food menu. If not at a reserved table you have to go to the bar and place your order. Bartender wasn't the friendliest.

Try: Cocktails with a view! Why: I had the Cima Special (tequila) and Bird is the Word (Rum). Both had pineapple and both were refreshing to sip on with a great view. We sat down in main bar room next to window looking at the sunset and downtown. Empire State Building even lit up while we were there. We had some appetizers: chips and guacamole, and mushroom quesadillas, which were good. Afterwards, we walked to the north side outdoor bar area to enjoy the view. Notes: We had reservations so were welcomed and got seated immediately. Waitress was helpful in providing recommendations on cocktails and appetizers. One point of frustration was having to ask for water 3 times before it was brought out. Overall, had a chill after work drink with a colleague and soaked in the view.

Highly recommend this for the view, ambience and service. Great bar and self service was also easy. The view at this place is stunning. There are mocktails on the menu too. I was not a big fan of the bourbon sour cocktail but not the bartender's fault there. Got one mocktail and one cocktail. Both drinks came out to be 35$ without tip. I'd love to try the outdoor seating during the warmer weather.

Cute bar with some good views. Service is unfortunately quite slow. Drinks were good. We were able to walk in without a reservation.

This is a nice roof top bar. Staff are friendly and the place is clean. The tables lean over a bit and it's tilted or leans. Staff were attentive. Drinks were okay. There are so many nice places in New York City that I am not sure if I will recommend. If you're staying at the hotel, it's a nice spot.

Def a good place for some drinks and some appetizers and don't forget the views whether you are indoor or outdoor seating. I would definitely make sure to book a reservation if you do want outdoor seating though!

Place was pretty inside but we wanted to sit outside because of the view and also because the AC must have not been working because it was uncomfortable and warm inside. But since they had a private party we had no choice but to sit inside . We ordered tacos and guacamole and chips . The chips never came, but they put them on our bill . The drinks were good , and ambience was nice .

Wanted to check out the rooftop bar while staying ay the hotel. I didn't have reservations but they ask you if you are a guest at the hotel. When I went on a Friday night, for hotel guests they had either seating inside or standing room outside. I decided to sit inside, and got seated by the windows with views of the Empire State Building. I've been to a few rooftops with views of the Empire State Building and I think this was the best view so far. Inside seating is where you're closest to it, I don't think you can see the same views from the outside patio as it faces the opposite direction. My party who were visiting from out of state were delighted too. Got the mojito and the spicy margarita cocktails. Mojito was light and refreshing, spicy margarita was stronger. Got some guac and chips and the mushroom empanadas. Our server was super nice and got us more guac after we finished our first bowl (it was a tiny bowl of guac and a giant bowl of chips). Food was pretty basic, drinks were good, views were great, I'd say check it out if especially if you're staying at the hotel.

Ambiance: 5 STARS it's dark and moody with great music playing. The music isn't too loud so you can still have conversations with your table SERVICE: 5 STARS Our server was really friendly and made great recommendations. Drinks came out in a timely manner DRINKS: 5 STARS So many to choose from depending on what type of liquor you're in the mood for. I ended up trying a few. Each one was very delicious. Golden Hour: 5 STARS had both tequila and mezcal with a bit on ginger and honey. Nice balance of Smokey, sweet and acidic. Spicy Mezcal Paloma: 4.5 STARS like a regular Paloma BUT better!! Sonora: 4 STARS The mezcal overpowered this one but it was still very enjoyable! If you have a chance to check it out definitely a good place to catch the sunset and enjoy some delicious cocktails. They also offer food but we had already had dinner for the night.

I had a blast at Bar Cima. I came here on a first date. Their service was exceptional they constantly checked up on us to see if we needed anything else. The view of the Empire State Building was fantastic seeing the colors change every couple of minutes. I liked their cocktails and the cheese and mushroom quesadillas. 10/10 rooftop experience. Great location for a date night or drinks with a friend.

The only reason Bar Cima is getting a star or two is the view, which is also just sort of awesome. Nebulez or even the Kitano is better. I can't tell you if the drinks are good because after a half hour of waiting, they still never showed up. They only have a thimble of hummus or eggplant if you want something to nosh on and if you do get the hummus, it's those stone pita things from the store, straight outa the fridge cold. The place feels like it's just too close to Bryant to be good or something. Go to the Elsie nearby if you're in this area and want a rooftop... the views not as good at the Elsie, but the place is big and they have better service. Not a place I need to try again, no reason (although I am bummed they never brought me the Oaxacan old fashion Probably awesome. Trash service, and/or poor management/staffing, I dnno; either way a big fail. Midtown is so much worse off with this waste of good real-estate. I'll be nice now; I enjoyed the music, the place was nice, it's atop the Grayson hotel, and the positive reviews of the place all got better service than we did by far.

Beautiful lounge space in the rooftop of the Grayson hotel. Great views and vibes. Our group did a walk in and were fortunate to get seated immediately. As the night progressed, the seats filled up quickly. We all enjoyed a cocktail each - from their classic cocktails menu, Cima innovations (originals), and requests. I thoroughly enjoyed my cocktail, the Cima Special. It was a mezcal-based drink. The smokiness paired well with the citrusy, fruity notes from the pineapple and lime and the kick of spice from the chile and tajin. The service was mediocre - only came over to take our orders but never came back to refill our waters. We did have to flag down a waiter/waitress twice to get our bill. Not a huge issue since we were enjoying the drinks, each other's company, and was not in a hurry.

    Heather L.

We were staying at the Grayson Hotel and had some property credit so decided to grab some drinks at Bar Cima. It was raining so we didn't check out the patio but the indoor space was pretty small and the view wasn't so great because our table wasn't by the window. The service was alright but the drink menu was disappointing. I like trying each bar's own crafted cocktails and I usually go for either a gin or a rum base cocktail but most of their drinks were mezcal, tequila, and whiskey base, leaving me with barely any option. When I was checking in at the hotel, the receptionist told me the Bar Cima is known for tequilas but I just found out that it's a tequileria. We didn't like the drinks and the vibe here so we ended up leaving quickly.

Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.

Service was good. We had the fried chicken Benedict and the crab cake Benedict. I was a bit confused when I saw that each Benedict dish only had one poached egg - shouldn't it always be two? I guess that's shrinkflation (plus inflation) for you. That bent said, the crab cake was actually really big and filling. The side of potatoes were really delicious. Would I come back for brunch again? Very unlikely. But, it does seem like a pretty "safe choice" if you need a last minute reservation for a group.

The drinks were strong and creative. Friendly bartenders, good music, and yummy options for bar snacks. Also, the bathroom is a nice touch. Given the hell theming for the bar, the bathroom is a 180 and while using the Lou, you can listen to the bible being recited. Theres also a spooky surprise if you press the button in the bathroom. Though there wasn't a dish that just blew my mind, everything was consistently really good and enjoyable. I recommended ordering a handful of dishes and sharing with a group.
