Came to Sir Henry's and overall had a really nice experience. The food was solid. We sat in the martini bar on the second floor, which has an amazing vibe. The decor alone is worth checking out. Super stylish and great atmosphere. The bartender was full of energy and very friendly, which made the experience feel fun and welcoming. The only downside was the service flow. Since the bar is walk-up service, we didn't mind ordering ourselves, but there were about five staff members standing in the corner chatting while we were trying to figure things out. We ended up having to ask for menus, which felt a little odd. That said, the ambiance really stands out, and the drinks and food were good. With just a bit more attentiveness, this place would easily be a top-tier spot.

I stopped by Sir Henry's with a friend for a quick bite before meeting up with the rest of our group, and it was such a great choice! The place is beautifully decorated, and we especially loved the lighting dim and cozy without being so dark that you can't see your food or the people you're with. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was super friendly and welcoming. She recommended the chopped cheese fries, and they were absolutely delicious definitely a must-try! I opted out of the fried onions for raw onions. I also had a Montauk beer, which paired perfectly with the food. Overall, it was a great vibe, good food, and excellent service. I'd definitely go back!

An amazing restaurant to go to if you are on a time crunch. We stopped by this hole in the wall to get food before our Broadway show and it offered a wide variety of things! The buffalo wings were a decent portion size and really saucy just the way I like them. The truffle fries were well seasoned. And the spicy rigatoni was hefty. We had leftovers that we could not finish because it was so much food. The service was fast and prompt. The waitress was highly attentive to my friend's nut allergy and checked with the chef each time she wanted to try something. Fives stars for being highly attentive and considerate. They even gave us free green tea shots at the end which was a nice surprise.

I had dinner here before a show and was pleasantly surprised. This is definitely the type of place where the food doesn't have to be good and people will still come because it's so close to Broadway, but I found my meal to be well made and tasty. I ordered the Birria flatbread. I am a little skeptical of Birria in the wake of the Birria food trend which recently swept New York City, as it is a dish that requires some care to execute well and I find that many places will slap it onto the menu in accordance with the trend without having the adequate resources to execute it well. This was not the case here. My pleasantly crispy flatbread was topped with tender and flavorful shredded beef, and the dipping consommé was savory and delicious. We shared some fries at the table which were perfectly crispy as well. My dining companions all seemed very happy with their cocktails. Despite the bar being slightly backed up, and our drinks taking some extra time, the service was incredible and did more than enough to make up for it. Our server was so friendly and did an incredible job. The prices are high but not unreasonable at all for the area. I would definitely consider this a great pre-show option for dinner.

I had a lovely post work hang at the upstairs bar of Sir Henry's. Off the bat, I must say I was so pleased with the bartenders. They were attentive and kind. We got there at around 5pm and it was full downstairs and empty upstairs. By the time we left, however, that had filled up as well. The food is good. I will always mention how crazy prices are for midtown restaurants, but it's not really their fault. Overall, I had a lovely time. It's a spot I'd visit again.

My friends and I decided to try out Sir Henry's after seeing Six the musical at the nearby Lena Horne Theatre. We saw good reviews for Sir Henry's and they were right! We were greeted immediately and they checked our IDs, then we were seated and Alex was our server. She was so friendly. We each ordered something different, and I went with The Rag Doll. I've been very into a lychee cocktail recently, and I loved the smooth vanilla taste they added to it! I do have a sweet tooth, but my companions don't (as much), and after we all sampled each other's drinks, they did exclaim how much they liked mine. It was so delicious and I could have drank more than 1 easily. We loved the lighting and moody interior. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the city.

My friend and I stumbled on this bar near Hell's Kitchen and it ended up being such a cute find. They had it decorated for the holidays and it felt really cozy. Plus, they stay open late which was perfect for a nightcap!! Get the La Bamba. It's jalapeno tequila, triple sec, cucumber and lime juice. Light, refreshing and honestly a little addictive. Definitely coming back!!

How have I not reviewed my favorite bar in NYC?! Sir Henry's is the spot to be literally any night, everyone there is fantastic but I have to shout out my girl Shay. She's INCREDIBLE. She is a master behind the bar and always has the best vibe. Their food is great, I haven't sampled much but I plan on doing more eating there when I'm back in a few weeks! The drinks are exceptional!

Before leaving New York after an absolutely fabulous New Year's Eve in Times Square, we wanted to grab breakfast quickly--and stumbling upon Sir Henry's turned out to be a great decision. The moment we walked in, the décor stopped us in our tracks. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas--warm, festive, and inviting. We were greeted by Jessica, who served as both our host and waitress, and she was phenomenal. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. She seated us in a cozy, intimate area toward the back, which made the experience even better. Once we got to the menu, we were sold. We started with espresso martinis made with Woodford--smooth, well-balanced, and the perfect brunch cocktail. For food, we ordered the avocado toast, which came with potato's and a salad (all delicious). The breakfast burger was loaded with great toppings and paired perfectly with crispy fries. The real standout, though, was the birria breakfast taco--absolutely top-notch and full of flavor. If you're looking for a brunch spot in the city with great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service, I highly recommend Sir Henry's. Definitely try the brunch--you won't be disappointed.

We intended to come here for a nice cocktail before going to a dive bar for the gay ambiance. But we accidentally stayed the rest of the night because the drinks and service were great. The hostess was friendly and gave us options for where to sit. Then our server, Destiny, was absolutely stellar - so personable and fun and genuine. It's New York, so you know every server here has big big big dreams, and she deserves every good thing that's coming to her. For now, go to Sir Henry's, ask for Destiny, and leave her a big ass tip because you'll love her!

My daughter had her post NYC marathon party here and they are so nice and extremely accommodating! It's a super fun bar in Hell's Kitchen with upbeat music and great vibes. The guacamole is exactly the way I make mine at home so 5 stars for the ambience and service!!

Sir Henry's is the new bar which opened in Times Square. Given the great location next to the theater district, it was our choice to get a drink and snack before our 8pm show. When we arrived the downstairs area was full and we were showed to the top level bar which had plenty of seats and like 10 different espresso martini options to choose from. I had the one with rum and coconut and it was a great twist on the classic. We shared the birria fries as well , and they were very tasty , the birria had amazing flavor and it as a very interesting and special quick share different from the usual bar food options. We left around 7:30pm and it was starting to get packed and the ambiance for the PM hours seemed to be a lot of fun. Prices are standard high manhattan prices but not scandalous, which given the location could be expected.

    Shrimp Tacos and Brussel Sprouts

Wonderfully decorated large bar/restaurant with multiple levels and side bars throughout! Came here around 8pm on a Saturday. They were very busy so I was thankful we made a reservation in advance. Service was great. I ordered a dirty martini and my friend ordered the "Basic Spice" cocktail - which she said was essentially just an espresso martini with pumpkin flavor. She loved it. My martini tasted like 90% olive juice 10% vodka so I probably wouldn't order that again. We also split an order of Brussel Sprouts as an appetizer. The first couple of bites were good but most of the sprouts were swimming in a balsamic glaze sauce. The sauce was delicious but it was too much for me. It overpowered the sprouts and made them a bit soggy. I also ordered the Shrimp Tacos. They were great but again, too much sauce. Extremely messy and difficult to eat, the chipotle aioli was wonderful but there was just waaaaay too much on the tacos. If I were to order them again, I'd definitely get the sauce on the side. Overall decent experience here and I'd definitely come back & refrain from making the same mistakes twice.

I was warmly greeted by the gentleman at the door (5 service there), which set a great first impression. However, as soon as I walked downstairs, it felt like the space had lost its speakeasy vibe. I was seated right near the stairs and could feel cold air from outside every time the door opened, which made the experience uncomfortable. I was also surprised to see how much the cocktail menu had been reduced. When I asked about it, the response was that "the place changed a lot." That's fair -- places evolve -- but instead of highlighting the improvements or new strengths, the explanation focused negatively on what the bar used to be. As someone who really enjoyed the former version, that wasn't reassuring. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves didn't make up for it. One of the two cocktails was simply not good. No one came back to check on the drinks, and when I asked for the check after about 20 minutes, there was no acknowledgment that I had barely touched mine or any inquiry about my experience. Overall, a place I once enjoyed and recommended now feels more like a standard dive bar where " Mixologist " were replaced by bartender and were fun cool looking and tasty drinks were replaced by " less complex cocktail ", lacking the warmth and attention to detail that once made it special.

Easy to find if you know what you're looking for, if you arrive right at 5pm on a cold weeknight in the winter, you'll easily find a table or seat at the bar. Very cute space, cozy like everyone says, but nothing mind blowing. Music is moderately loud. The menu in early February still included their winter holiday cocktails. I was more interested in the apple sage house-made fermented soda, and it was pretty good-large glass, flavorful and not too sweet. My friend enjoyed her pomegranate version. The space started to fill up at around 5:30. Service was polite when you could get it, but generally very inattentive, even before it got busy. It honestly didn't feel too different from anu other very nice NYC bar, in terms of menu selection, prices, ambiance and service. Maybe that's standard for NYC speakeasies, but the places I frequented in other cities were more fun and felt more worth the price. I'll still give another NYC spot a try, but not coming back to Thyme.

For drinks, we ordered the Smoke Show and the King Tusk. The Smoke Show was beautifully balanced. The Grey Goose vodka and Dolin Dry gave it that classic martini backbone, but the fino sherry and brine added depth. The smoked olive oil and blue cheese olive brought just enough savory drama without overpowering the glass. It was complex but not fussy. The King Tusk leaned more aromatic and layered. The vermouths gave it richness, while the Buddha's Hand and osmanthus flower added subtle citrus and floral notes that lingered in a really elegant way.
