Stopped in a little after 1pm on a Saturday. We were the only table until one other couple came in closer to 1:45. The service was good, she was very kind, brought Turkish tea after the meal, and even packed our leftovers for us at the table. We started with the CIGAR BOREK, very delicious. Then we shared the KUSBASILI PIE and MANTI. Both were good. If we lived closer, we would probably return.

Beautiful restaurant. A date night restaurant. The food came out slow, so allow extra time, perfect for chatting and relaxing. The food was delicious. Cooked for and by people of the region. The lamb kebab was excellent. No rushing of the grilling process resulted in a not jerky like exterior. Anatolia special was nicely prepared and paired. Everything went well together.

Loved it here! Just happened to stop for lunch before catching a flight to JFK. The food was all delicious, the options were so many and the portions were very good. We tried a salad, the mixed maze plate, and the lamb chops. All was phenomenal. The service was even better, they were all kind and thoughtful Fun ambiance too. Love it here and will definitely stop again before my next flight!

On a whim, stopped here for lunch. On the outside, the restaurant is unassuming, but the inside is very plush and the decor is cool without being ostentatious. All of this is nothing, though, compared to the service. Alice was as kind as could be and provided excellent service throughout the meal. The food was second to none, and although I know it's not for everyone, I would suggest the Calf Liver appetizer. The grape leaves were great as well as the bread and tzatziki. We also had cheese wrapped in phyllo which was delightful. For the entree I had the lamb combination plate with bulgur. Excellent! Finished the meal with, of course, Turkish coffee. Try this place out - you won't regret it.

We went on a rainy Saturday afternoon and waited a few minutes to be seated. No one was standing by the door when we first came in. Our dishes came out fast and even the gratis Turkish bread was really good. The lamb andana was kind of salty and gamey. I highly recommend the mixed appetizer. We were also given complimentary Turkish tea and baklava. The leftovers didn't warm up well so definitely best to eat the meal right away.

DO NOT GO HERE! The staff discriminated against us because our party of friends included our Black friend and our LGBTQ+ friend. Why do I say this? Because I was here a little over a week ago (all party members were South Asian) and received amazing service. My best friend (South Asian) also came here with her family and friends (South Asian) in the past and received great service. We were both shocked at the horrible service we received today, when our party was comprised of South Asians as well as our Black friend and our LGBTQ+ friend, both of whom received subtle looks from patrons and staff alike. We made reservations for a party of 5 and were seated quickly. The waitress came over AFTER we had to flag her down but we chalked it up to them being a bit busy. We ordered an appetizer and entrees, and waited for OVER AN HOUR for our appetizer, which never came. The appetizer was a mixed app of hummus, babaganoush, pita, and other cold dips, which should not have taken OVER AN HOUR to bring out. The waitress who took our order never checked up on us or offered an explanation for why we hadn't received any food, and the one we did manage to flag down (AFTER AN HOUR) seemed less than interested in helping us and gave an attitude. We spoke to her about the appetizer and waited an additional 10 minutes with no appetizer. Overall, it was horrible service from staff that didn't seem to care about service because gratuity is automatically included in the bill. They didn't seem to care about serving our party overall and ignored us for the most part, only coming over when we flagged them down. The horrible service coupled with the looks my LGBTQ+ and Black friends received are enough to make me never come back here or ever recommend it to anyone because of their discrimination!

We had already looked on the menu online and knew what we wanted to order. However, they gave us a pre-fix menu and stated that we could only order from the Mother's Day menu. It was 1 appetizer, 1 entree, soda or tea for $55 per person. If you look at the regular menu prices, this exceeds what it cost for 1 entree and 1 appetizer. We got the cheese rolls, liver, & mixed appetizer which were all shareable portions. After we were done with appetizers, it took over an hour to get our entrees. The waiter checked in and it seemed that he never gave the kitchen our orders or completely forgot about them because the food was luke warm. We got the lamb chops, chicken shish, & branzino. The chicken and tender and juicy. The branzino was light and flaky. Everything was well seasoned and the rice & salad were also tasty. The lamb chops were over cooked and a bit dry. Overall, I would say don't come here on a day you know will be busy. You may not get to order the dishes you want, experience poor service, and deal with an overpriced menu. For $55, they should have included a baklava for dessert or something.

Ali the owner and his talented staff always make the experience great no matter how busy the restaurant is. I came here with very good friends of mine that I knew loved Turkish food. We came here on Saturday night and when I arrived the restaurant was packed. Despite that we never felt rushed, they were well staffed and worked together as a well oiled machine to make the experience flawless. The weather was perfect so we sat outside, there is ample parking either in their parking lot or across the street. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with hand blown glass chandeliers from Turkey. For the sake of brevity I'm going to list all the dishes we had. Each one had its own unique flavor down to the Lavos Hollow bread with its slightly buttery flavor. You have to try each one. Prices are very fair and portions are great. We had the eggplant with tomato sauce, Turkish Ezme, Calves liver cubes, a large Shepherd salad, for appetizers. For entrees we had two of the Bronzino, the Shrimp Shish, and the Lamb Shish. For desert we had the Chocolate Baklava, the Kunefe, the Turkish coffee, and a of the Apple tea. Ali made a couple of special dishes including an eggplant dish and home made hot Halvah for desert. It's amazing how small the world really is. My friends thought they knew the owner Ali but could not pinpoint from where. After talking for a while they realized they knew him from when he worked at another Turkish restaurant in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn called Liman. It has since moved to Coney Island. Ali opened Bosporus Cafe Grill in Port Washington in 2014 and I'm am glad he took the risk to go out on his own. His business partner is the chef and is also a butcher. They've combined their talents to provide one of the best restaurants experiences you will ever have. I've been coming here for several years and it never gets old. I highly recommend them for great food, service and atmosphere. There's a lot to see in Port Washington and you can take a stroll by the water afterwards.

We had sigara borek and hummus as appetizers, and the hummus in particular was so fresh and flavorful - definitely the best hummus I have ever had. We ordered a couple of entrees and unfortunately the wrong food came out. We didn't initially realize and thought they had put out two meals on the platter (and they were just small portions) and included some extras as well, until our waiter came over a few minutes later and apologized. Unfortunately, because we received the mixed grill instead of our two chicken entrees, the solution of charging us the price for the mixed instead of our two meals only took roughly $10 off the bill but resulted in us having less than half of the food we otherwise would've had. That aside, the food was delicious enough that Kebab House still warrants five stars and we will be back, just more aware of what to expect as far as portions.

The building is divided into two sections. On one side is a market area fully stocked with all sorts of specialty ingredients. They have halal meat, imported spice blends and mixes, tea coffee and candy, and snacks and drinks that looked very intriguing. I got some grape leaves in brine, Turkish coffee beans, and some authentic turkish delight (lokum) with pistachios, pomegranate, and rose petals. On the other side is the restaurant/deli counter- where soups, dips, and salads are ladled out of big containers under a cold glass case, and grilled meat and doner kebabs are prepared. It was pretty empty when I went in, but they had a large seating area, so I assume it gets busy. Today for lunch, I picked up a large mezze platter to share with my family. For the three sides, I got hummus, babaganoush, and piyaz (a white bean, pepper, and onion salad). The hummus was absolutely perfect, smooth, creamy, garlicky, packed full of tahini goodness. I totally want to go back and try some drizzled over chicken or lamb! The babaganoush was nicely smoky and slightly tangy, and the piyaz was a great balance to these two creamy dips. I also got a side of their homemade dolma, which were really interesting, they're slightly sweet and stuffed with rice, carrots, and what tasted like cinnamon or nutmeg. They also included half a loaf of fresh warm bread with toasted sesame seeds on top as part of the mezze deal. And the best part was that all of this food only cost $22!!!!! Not any more. We ordered our food for delivery. We ordered it at 3 for a 5:30 (ish) drop off. It arrived at 5:45 (not a problem at all). 3 major issues. 1) ALL of the hot food was ice cold. I mean refrigerated cold. Bread products hard as a rock and completely cold. This meant taking most items apart as they had hot and cold components, microwaving what is supposed to be got and the reassembling. I am guessing they filled the order at 3 and handed it to the delivery driver at 5:30 right out of the refrigerator. 2) An entire meal was missing. We didn't even have that many items. No one counts? No one checks? 3) One of the 2 desserts was burnt to the point of being inedible. The other was made completely correct. Of the 7 items in our order only 2 were good. One of the desserts and the cold appetizer (which was actually a little bit warmer than our "hot" food). Uber Eats gave me a full refund with no pushback, especially after the picture they asked for of the burned dessert. There are quite a few other places with an almost identical menu and similar (former) quality in my area. I will just go to them from now on. Sad. This was our go to.
