It's a small local business, and you feel like you're part of the community when you're in there hanging out with them. I love the decorations and the overall visual aesthetic of the place. If a customer orders a full meal for delivery, the default assumption should be that they'll need the means to eat it. The overwhelming majority of people ordering delivery aren't sitting in their own kitchen with silverware readily available, and in situations like mine, there was absolutely no way to obtain utensils after the fact. After paying nearly $30 before factoring in Uber Eats' delivery fees, service fees, and tip, this is the level of customer experience I received. It's a simple oversight that completely ruined the meal. Good customer service is about anticipating obvious customer needs, not hiding behind a technicality that utensils weren't explicitly requested. From 12PM-2PM, Naz's Halal - Glen Cove offered a free lunch choice of chicken over rice, lamb over rice, or combo over rice. From 2PM until close, the offer is buy 1 get 1 free (with purchase of a drink). Right at 12PM, a line formed and I was about 10th in line. I ordered the Combo over Rice with white sauce to go. The combo over rice is a mix of marinated chicken and beef and lamb served over aromatic basmati rice and paired with a crisp salad of lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers. It was very good and not as greasy as other combo over rices I've gotten. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. The staff were very friendly and working hard. I can't wait to return and try other items.
