menus and prices on the wall - The photo captures the interior of Halal Eatz in Bethpage, NY, focusing on the menu board and ordering area. The menu includes options like chicken gyro, lamb gyro, fish gyro, and steak gyro, along with kabob meals such as chicken tikka, beef kofta, and mixed over rice. The menu also lists rice platters with various meat options, with prices ranging from approximately $7.99 to $11.99. The counter area has digital ordering screens, a small sink, and food containers, with a well-lit ceiling and a clean, organized setup.

I had a craving for halal food and Halal Eatz was the closest in my area. The Chicken and lamb was seasoned nicely and even the rice had a good blend of spices. I wish the meat was HOT, like when they prepare straight off the grill at the carts/stands. Also it is a few dollars more expensive here than usual... the last place I went to I got a huge CnR platter and drink for $8... here it's $11 w/ no drink. The owner is a nice guy, food has good taste, price is high.

Chicken Kofta Kabab - The image shows a foil takeout container filled with two grilled kebabs placed on seasoned rice. Accompanying the kebabs are a fresh salad with chopped vegetables, a piece of naan bread, and a small cup of yogurt sauce. The tray is set on a patterned tablecloth, and a plastic spoon is partially visible inside the rice. The presentation suggests a Middle Eastern or South Asian cuisine meal.

We like it. We normally get Chicken kofta over rice from either Shah's or Hamza, but we thought of trying this place today and it didn't disappoint. Expect their rice a little spicy and chicken kofta soft and juicy. Best part - the chicken is organic. It would have been better if the kabob was cut in small pieces.

Gyro lamb over salad - A transparent plastic bowl contains a salad with chopped lettuce, chickpeas, and black olives at the bottom. The top of the salad is covered with cooked, diced meat pieces. The bowl is placed on a white surface, with a blurred background showing a window and indoor setting.

Oh I'm so happy this place opened 5 min from house. GREAT halal food. Bright, fun, colorful, CLEAN, comfortable interior. Very nice owner. I asked for something "special" and he told me to treat his kitchen like my own - he'd make whatever I like. I had gyro lamb over salad and it was excellent. Salad was full of tomatoes, onions, black and green olives, banana peppers, chick peas and cucumbers and a very generous portion of gyro lamb. My husband had a great cheeseburger with all the toppings and great seasoned fries. Great prices (lower than what's on Yelp) and great value! I'll be back. They have a big menu - lots to try!

Chicken Over Rice Small Seasoned Fries - The image shows a takeout meal in aluminum containers, including chicken over rice topped with white sauce, seasoned fries, and a side of French fries. The meal is being held by a person sitting in a vehicle, with part of their hand and gray clothing visible.

I couldn't get a refund because the restaurant had already accepted my order -- and since I was the one who cancelled, Uber Eats treated it as a voluntary cancellation. No refund. This restaurant seems like a scam: they accept orders on days they're closed and pocket free money. -------- Updated: I contacted the store through Instagram, and they acknowledged the issue and refunded me via Zelle. I haven't tried their food yet -- I'll update this review once I do.

3.5 Stars for their lunch specials!…read more This was our first visit, and we only ordered a salad and two lunch specials. I would definitely come back to try other items from their regular menu. I found the entrees in the lunch special a little skimpy. These are the dishes we shared: -- Papaya Salad ($12): this is from their regular menu, and I thought it was excellent! Well balanced and so tasty! -- Drunken Noodles w.Beef (Lunch Special $14.95): this came with a Spring Roll and your choice of either Soup or Salad. We chose the Soup, which was a Tom Yum Soup. The Soup was very spicy but the Drunken Noodles were very mild; almost bland. It definitely needed more flavors and wok hei, but still ok. -- Massaman Curry w.Shrimp (Lunch Special $14.95): this came with a Spring Roll and your choice of either Soup or Salad. We chose the Salad, which came with a Peanut sauce. The Salad was actually pretty good; the peanut sauce was slightly sweet. The Massaman Curry w.Shrimp was very weak in flavor and only came with 3 little shrimps. I would suggest you order a different protein and skip the shrimp. Customer service was good; albeit there was nobody to greet us when we first arrived, so we just seated ourselves. But service got better. They didn't rush us to order and let us linger after we finished eating. But after a while, we were asked to leave since they close the restaurant in between the lunch and dinner service (between 3:30-4:30pm). Sorry, we were not aware of this! All in all, a decent first experience. Next time, I'd skip the lunch specials and just order off their regular menu.
