Now mind you, this review is based off of a DoorDash order...so take that into consideration. I saw this pop up on my DoorDash and decided to give it a try. I opted to order a cheesesteak with extra hot sauce and fries very crispy. Now I did notate this in the special instructions and also requested some sauces and told them this was my first time trying this, with that being said they did EXACTLY what I asked, so I would assume that the service here is great. The cheesesteak was perfection, the sub was very soft and perfectly held together the deliciously cooked cheesesteak which had the perfect amount of cheese and peppers in it. The fries remained crispy even after being delivered to me. The picture I'm including of the fries is after someone took a HUGE HANDFUL out so that means the portions for the fries was HUGE. The cheesesteak portion was the perfect amount of meat to bread ratio. Everything being said, this place was delicious. I would love to try everything on their menu. This might be one of those new go to spots for me. Oh they also gave me a side of their special sauce I guess, which was also incredible!

Halal n out was so good. Everything was cooked fresh to order. Everything is made from scratch, including the sauces and you could really tell also the fried Oreos were absolutely to die for next time. I'm going to need at least two or three orders of them.

Stumbled across a hidden gem on my lunch break--Halal-N-Go. I was just trying to get my halal fix, and boom... jackpot. Place looks small from the outside but surprise--way roomier inside. Bright, clean, and the vibes were solid. The staff? Super chill. One on the grill, one at the counter, both friendly and patient while I studied that novel of a menu like I had a final exam. I ordered like I was prepping for a food review (because I was ): fried fish over rice, fries with a custom salad, plus two-piece fried chicken and a roll on the side. Yep, went all in. The fish and chicken were both seasoned up and packed with flavor. Huge portions too. That rice? Fire. The salad? Tied it all together. The roll though? Meh. But hey, can't win 'em all. Will I be back? Absolutely. Clean spot, fast service, good food, good prices--and tons of parking. What more do you need?

The staff was nice but the food was terrible. Inedible chicken sandwich, sloppily put together.

We've always loved his cooking and have since followed him to Monroe's while still frequenting Tesoro's. We started our dinner with an Appetizer of Rice Balls followed by an entree of Salmon in Orange sauce for my partner, and Shrimp & Clam Fra Diavolo over Linguine for myself. As we started to order our choices they also informed us they had initiated a new Price Fixe menu in case we decided to change. We stuck with our original choices but decided after perusing the Price Fixe menu we have to come back very shortly as it offers a great value. What's different about Monroe's is that it's offered 7 days a week except holidays, versus other restaurants that tend to limit the days or hours you can order off a Price fixe menu. It s a good deal at $39.95 for 4-Courses starting with a variety of Appetizers, followed by a choice of two salads, multiple Entrée choices including Pastas, various Chicken dishes, Skirt Steak, Port Chop or Pork Medallions, and Seafood including Red Snapper, Salmon, or Sole. Finishing up with a choice of several desserts to choose from. A complimentary glass of Wine or Beer to also accompany your meal. IMO can't beat the value for 4 courses @ $39.95 and available 7 days a week except for Holidays.

Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and very helpful in guiding us through the menu. We started with the margarita pizza and the baked oysters special--both were fantastic. For our entrées, we ordered the surf and turf sushi roll special and the roasted chicken, and again, everything exceeded expectations. To finish, we had the brownie dessert with homemade gelato along with martinis, which was the perfect ending to the meal. We would highly recommend The Union and will definitely be back!

Tonight,…read morewe both had a craving for a good burger, and wanted to enjoy this beautiful evening, in a nice outdoor setting. With that I said let's try the Union. The Union, is located in Eisenhower Park. The path leading up to the restaurant, is surrounded by mounds of stunning flowers. The restaurant itself has a very nice open look, with a very long 10 seat bar. The rear of the restaurant has a beautiful and spacious patio overlooking the golf course. Sitting on the patio gives a feel that you're dining at a very exclusive country club. The menu is primarily geared for sushi & steak, but has a number of salads, as well as pizza. We began our meal by sharing a Greek salad. My only objection with the salad, was that the feta cheese had a bland taste, unlike the salty creamy taste that typically exudes from feta cheese. The other issue with the salad, was that it was served with a miniature serving tong. The tong, aside from being tiny, did not easily close to pick up portion's of the salad. We asked the waiter if he can provide us with a serving spoon & fork. After 10 minutes the waiter returned with a regular sized fork & spoon, and to our dismay, said the restaurant didn't have any other serving utensils. Next, we moved on to our main reason for our being there, which was to enjoy the 10 ounce cheeseburger & fries. Unfortunately, when we began eating, our burgers, it was pretty apparent that the sesame buns the burgers were served in weren't fresh, and shouldn't have been served to customers. I did note that quite a few patrons ordered burgers, and I noticed that most patrons took the burger out from the buns. I will never understand why a restaurant would serve patrons any item that's past its useful life. Finally, the restaurant redeemed itself with dessert. The waiter suggested that we try the warm apple covered beignets, which I say was a big YUM!. All in all I have to say I was disappointed with my first visit to the Union, but the ambiance, and the overall delight of the outdoor setting will draw me back again sometime this summer.

Heard the guy next to us order a French dip and the waiter said great, we have only 2 left. So when he came to us I ordered and he said great timing it's the last one. Took 45 minutes to get our strawberry salad which was delicious. Another 3o minutes go by (and the guy next to me who ordered the other French dip had already finished and left) So the strawberry waiter, after more than 1.15hr walk over and says "hey, we ran out of the French so I ordered you the steak sandwich. Huh? 1 hour and fifteen min later you ran out and the other guy already ate and left? I said great, but I'm not paying for it. 10 min later the owner came out. He could not have been a friendlier, responsible and all around nice person. It wasn't that he not only covered my meal but the table but it was the way he handled it. Owning a restaurant is not easy and problems happen. Food - 8/10 Prices 9/10 Place 8/10 I would not only recommend this place but they have absolutely earned my business. I obviously can't give a 5 because of the incident but I will change this to a 5 when I go back and get the service I have a feeling I'll receive. Since we were dining in, they gave us a table number and we placed it in the holder so staff know where to bring the food. Our order didn't take very long to arrive to our table, just about 10 minutes. After finishing your meal, you bus your own table. The menu has options for burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads, shakes, floats, and desserts. I ordered a Yellow Label Burger ($13.45) and a Strawberry shake ($6.75). My husband and I shared a Farm Salad ($9.75). The Yellow Label Burger comprises of USDA Prime Beef, homemade fried mac n cheese patty, lettuce, tomato on a potato bun. This was delicious! I liked how after biting into the crispy, breaded exterior it gives way to a hot, molten cheese center that oozes perfectly over beef. The Farm Salad which consisted of spring mix, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, sliced almonds, dried cranberries, and raspberry vinaigrette on the side was also very very very tasty, fresh, and a good portion. The strawberry shake was also very good and had pieces of strawberries. Black Label Burgers pride on only using USDA Prime Angus beef that comes from a single source, Double R Ranch, located in Washington State, a family-owned farm known for its responsible practices and superior beef. You can definitely taste the richness and juiciness of the beef. My husband had the Red Label Burger ($13.25) and the PB&J shake ($7.75). He really enjoyed his meal as well. I really liked the inside decor and the laid back vibes. Black Label Burgers is great for a quick lunch, a night out with friends, or a family dinner. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and the place was busy, always a good sign. I liked the local (Long Island) themed decor, friendly service, spacious parking lot, wide variety of self-serve beverages (tangy lemonade - yay!) and nicely padded booths. Definitely a cut above competitors like Shake Shack in that regard. I chose the signature black label burger made with dry aged beef and regular fries. While the hand cut fries were wonderfully crispy and flavorful, the burger was kind of disappointing - not terrible, but the bun tasted stale and the meat was very bland. Also I ordered the burger cooked medium but it came out pink in the center, not my preference for chopped meat. Maybe I ordered the wrong item? I plan to try other menu items in the future to see if they hit my taste buds differently.

We had the huevos rancheros, the BEC, the cheddar scramble, and their cheesy grits, as well as the warm biscuits and jam. Everything was a hit! The only element where they faltered a little was that it got rather busy right after we arrived for brunch, and the waitstaff struggled to keep up, so we were often left waiting for service for quite some time.
