Filet mignon. Looks a little shrunken there but it was actually a nice size

Came here before a concert at the Space (it seemed like most people there were also going to the show). Pretty much a straight up Italian restaurant. Delicious bread on the table Amazing service I had a filet mignon which was prepared perfectly rare the way I requested. My friend had the whole branzino which was very meaty and had a nice flavor Each came with roasted potatoes and veggies which were also cooked to perfection. Not mushy do not hard. Decaf coffee was good. Tartuffo was yummy.

Many places have great food--it's expected! But few have great food and excellent service! This place has it! We felt like we were back in Italy! What a warm, welcoming place. It's great for family meals, date nights, or friends' get-togethers! I am mad it took me this long to find this place!!

Came for anniversary. Key things: friendly service, simply decorated, yummy food, reasonable prices. Need I say more? Shared calamari and Greek salad, and had sole oreganata and branzino for mains. Enough leftover for tomorrow's dinner. Definitely recommend!

Pleasant family owned and operated Italian/American restaurant on Post A e in Westbury NY. Mix of decor with select images and even a had made kit art of The great Marilyn Monroe. Place was previously Bennys. Bought in 2020 redone an opened in 2021. Plenty of seating room in back counts 40. Todays takeout - fish and pasta. They have a bar on side. Food adequate in taste. Servings small and cost on high side with a few small pieces of bread.

Another date night with the lady and our gym friends; the venue Monroe's Italian Eatery. As you can imagine, it is a Marylyn Monroe themed eatery but that's only talking about the ambiance. The restaurant was very classy, you can come casual or you can come dressed in your Sunday finest they welcome you either way. The decor was fantastic, statue of Marylin Monroe as you enter was a great photo op. The staff was sensational, they memorized not only the menu and can answer any questions but they have a daily special list of too many to list. Our waiter was David and he was top quality, absolutely knew every part of the menu, the specials, and the drinks. We were bouncing back and forth on ideas for drinks and mains and he made some amazing suggestions that we were all very pleased with. We came in with a group of 4; two couples and were seated very promptly as our reservations were for 5:30PM. Table cloth was set and all the silverware was pristine. We immediately were served bread to the table with both butter and a very interesting tapenade that had a mix of eggplant, roasted peppers and some spices. It was hard to stop eating. After a few moments, David came over and detailed out the specials they were having, that were separate from the already extensive menu selection. He explained the most popular dishes in great detail, honestly we were floored how much was on the special's menu. Eventually we all decided on our starters and mains. For drinks, I had the smoked Bulleit Old Fashioned, made with Bulleit Bourbon, bitters, a large ice cube and orange peel, it was perfect. My girl had the blush and it was perfect also, she was worried about the sweetness and David requested it be made mildly sweet. Fantastic service from the start. The jolly rancher was another favorite at our table, pink and sweet with a jolly rancher gummy. Finally, the bombshell mule was the other drink for our group. Served in a copper mug; it was great. For the starters, we ended up getting the pulpo, which was grilled octopus over a bed of mixed greens and grape tomatoes. We also really enjoyed the stuffed shrimp. The portions were split in half for us as we mentioned we were going to share; normally the shrimp come with 3 and David was kind enough to bring a separate order so that we can all enjoy. The octopus was a bit over grilled on the smaller pieces but still very enjoyable (it was literally one tip of the tentacle), and still the crunch went well with the mixed greens. For the main course, we ended up getting the Montauk Fisherman's catch which was sensational. A ton of seafood such as mussels, clams, shrimp, and scallops over a bed of linguine in a choice of red or white wine sauce. (I enjoyed the white wine sauce with garlic). The other couple ordered a Surf and Turf combo with the steak cooked perfectly medium and a beautiful lobster tail with butter for dipping on the side. Finally, my girl enjoyed the shrimp and scallops over a seafood risotto. It was fantastic food all around. Finally, we get to the desserts, of course they had to run out of their special of the day Tiramisu; but we ended up snagging the last piece of blueberry cheesecake, a pecan pie with vanilla ice cream, and fudge brownie with ice cream. To make up for them running out of the Tiramisu, they offered fresh strawberries, dipped in chocolate with a sabayon cream. The ladies were floored and really enjoyed the desert. The cream was amazingly fresh and nothing was left behind. Overall, this is a must visit eatery; I can't wait to come back for more of the menu and the specials.

Please do try Monroe's. The service is excellent. Me and my husband both had the stuffed ravioli and omg it was chef's kiss good! So glad we had it was light and rich at the same time. My daughter's chicken noodle soup with ditalini pasta was so wholesome and nutritous! Our waiter was excellent and the cook was amazing - He looks like he really loves what he is doing - Cooking! He deserves a raise just for those stuffed ravioli alone as they are a hit. - Clean place with nice linens - with very welcoming service - you have nothing to lose coming here!

It's really about a three and a half star. We came here for my birthday brunch. We had a reservation but we didn't really need it. When we entered there wasn't anyone to greet us. It was a good five minutes before anyone came to check on us. But after we were seated we got our menus and water. There was also a complementary cornbread that was still warm. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Steak. My husband had the French Toast and my daughter wanted the Nutella French Toast. When our orders came out I didn't notice right away that it was incorrect because it did look good but before I touched it I got it returned. They apologized and brought it back in. My husband already started eating his before he realized he got the waffles instead of French Toast so we decided to ignore it. My daughter really liked her Nutella French Toast. When I finally got my order, it was very good. The eggs were nicely poached. The hollandaise sauce was creamy. The steak was a perfect medium. My only criticism was that hash brown looked good but tasted stale. There were parts that looked crunchy but were mushy and gritty. (I wonder if they just reused the hash brown from my first order.) And not that it matters to anyone but I love Pikachu so they get a half star back for the Pikachu decor.

Located within walking distance of the train station, we came here on a lovely Saturday for brunch. It wasn't busy maybe due to the weather but we had made reservations just in case. One ordered a salad, two ordered omelettes and I order the Salmon Avocado toast. They were all good. One friend was interested in the Salmon Avocado toast and had asked if she can have scrambled instead of poached and the waiter wasn't sure. It would have been nice if the salmon dish came with home fries. I will say the dishes came out very fast. There is street parking available and a small parking lot in the back. Service was friendly and efficient. It was pretty spacious inside with another room off to the side maybe for a large party. There is a bar as well. Good place to consider if you are looking for brunch in town.

Sometimes it's really good, and other times it's like they forgot to season anything. But also now, on our most recent visit, we noticed the portions seemed to have gotten smaller. The positives are that the interior is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated with high ceilings. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside, where there's even a putting green to enjoy while you wait for your food or after you're finished eating. The waitstaff has always been friendly and happy to offer recommendations. Over the years, we've tried quite a variety of their menu: pancakes, several burgers, the biscuit benedict, the Shegg sandwich, avocado toast, chicken and waffles, fried pickles, and more. So what's been inconsistent? How do you serve unseasoned ground beef? It's not pleasant. Have you ever had breakfast sausage with almost no seasoning? We have--and it was here. What about the portion sizes? Just compare my photos of the fried pickles from different visits, and they'll tell the story (the outside one was the most recent). Or if you've ordered a Bloody Mary recently, you might be wondering what happened to the mountain of slaw that used to come with it. The Shed isn't a cheap restaurant, so with the premium prices, I'd expect a lot more consistency when it comes to the food.

They asked for drink orders and we were left alone for a long time until the drinks arrived. Though we were ready to order, the server just dropped off our drinks and went to bring another table upstairs. I went down to the counter to get someone to take our order, and it took nearly an hour before our order was in (and even then, they took the order of the second table before taking our party's order). It was almost an hour and a half since we entered the restaurant when the food finally arrived at our table, and then it took so long for someone to come with our check and process payment, we went down to the counter to do it. During this time, another family was seated upstairs and left due to not being attended to. This caused big delays in our day and I had to cancel an appointment because we spent over two hours at this restaurant when we didn't want to. That said, food was good. I got the lemon blueberry pancake, which was a little bit gummy but mostly tasted fine. My brother got the mangu, which is kinda hard to find around here, let alone on the menu of a breakfast brunch restaurant. It was my brother's first time having it, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Besides him choosing scrambled eggs instead of fried eggs, it was very classic mangu breakfast. The real crabmeat omelet was another hit-- crabmeat was so real there were little pieces of shell lining-- really ambitious and deliciously executed. The menu is really fun and the food was overall good. Again, I think the very slow service wasn't on purpose and it's because they didn't anticipate such a large crowd on a Friday, but I would say run if they try to seat you upstairs and you're the only ones up there. Be prepared to wait for a long time if you want the reward of nice food.

The smoked bacon was delicious, but the focaccia was a little too thin and hard, making it harder to eat than I expected. The house-made sausage was good, just not particularly memorable. As for the coffee, it was probably the most disappointing part of the meal. The latte wasn't very smooth, and the cold brew had a slight off taste. We ordered: - Spring Salad (5/5) this tasted so good with the fresh mango, the snap peas, and the carrot ginger dressing. - Faroe Islands Salmon (5/5) I only tasted the rice, and not the salmon itself, but the rice was so good, and I just kept on stealing more from the plate. - Roasted-Half Chicken (4/5) This was my own entrée, and I loved how the chicken was crispy, and I also really liked the garlic mashed potatoes, but the only thing that I did not think worked well with the dish was the swiss chard. I think it would've tasted better with spinach. - Strawberry Cheesecake (4/5) this was surprisingly very light for a cheesecake, we ended up finishing all of it, and the whipped cream was really good. The strawberries were not my favorite, I kind of wish that they were just fresh slices of strawberries, but to each their own. All in all, this was a super solid meal, there's plenty of parking, and the restaurant is quite spacious, and the single bathrooms are also pretty large.

The restaurant has a beautiful, bright, modern atmosphere that feels much more upscale than its surroundings. Based on other reviews, the standout dishes seemed to be the grilled Spanish octopus and the SB Smash Burger, so I ordered both. Unfortunately, the execution fell short in several areas. The East Coast oysters arrived with mignonette but without horseradish or oyster forks--small details, but noticeable oversights. The oysters, octopus, and burger were all tasty, but the presentation of octopus and burger was surprisingly sloppy, as though little attention had been paid when the dishes left the kitchen. The bar also was understaffed. A single bartender was serving both the bar and the entire dining room, which led to waits for drinks. My bartender was friendly, attentive, and worked hard, but one person simply wasn't enough. I finished with the Key Lime Custard, which had what appeared to be a layer of shredded cereal on the bottom. I wasn't sure what it was. The dessert itself was enjoyable, though I think a base of toasted sliced almonds with a few fried blueberries on top of it would have added better texture and complemented the flavors more effectively. One nice perk is the validated valet parking, for a reduced fee, which makes arriving and leaving especially convenient given the mall location. The whiskey selection could also be improved by adding a few more interesting, off-the-beaten-path single malts or blends. Overall, the kitchen shows promise! And perhaps I came on an off night. With better attention to presentation, appropriate bar staffing, and a more adventurous choice of spirits, Small Batch could deliver an experience that better matches its reputation.

Mom and my daughter had the Biscuits and Gravy with added chicken. My wife had the Spicy Seoul Benny, my son the Twisted burger and I had the Chicken and Waffles. Yum, yum! Based on another reviewers recommendation, we called while on the way to be added to the waitlist. Was told to expect a 30 minute wait. Once we arrived we waited less than 10. Our server was Giselle. Super nice, attentive and helpful. She made sure our table was well taken care of. The place is nice. I'd say best suited for parties of four or less, but accommodations can be made as needed. Good service, comfortable seating and good food. Will return to try other dishes.

My husband ordered the tater tot waffles with scallion, sausage gravy, and sunny-side-up eggs, which also allowed me to try a bit of the gravy, something I really enjoyed. The restaurant itself is spacious and comfortable, with a kind of nostalgic, old-school diner feel, almost like a more polished version of Cracker Barrel. The staff had that classic diner professionalism too...experienced, efficient, and clearly very used to doing what they do well. My only real complaints were minor. I couldn't really taste the cheddar biscuits, and I didn't love the pickles on the eggs Benedict. I also would have preferred a bit more hollandaise. I know I could have asked for extra, but I just didn't bother in the moment. That said, I saw so many other dishes passing by that looked great, and there are plenty of things I'd still like to try. Unfortunately, it's not a neighborhood I'm often in, it's about an hour from home. That said, the next time I find myself in the area, I'll definitely make a point of stopping in again.
