Ordered delivery. The baked clams were amazing until I ate the last one and it was super fishy YUCK. The chicken francese was good but a little too sticky if you ask me. The chicken parm was good. The penne à la vodka was decent.

Filomena's has always been a friendly family restaurant to me and my family for years. Always welcoming people in to enjoy a delicious wonderful meal from the freshest amazing mouthwatering dishes they prepare. I was there recently for a luncheon after my father's burial and they took care of my entire family and friends with great appetizers, wine and main courses. We did the same in 2024 for my mother's funeral and it was just as pleasant and delicious. I grew up in Franklin Square and we have been going to Filomena's for years and our parents and their friends. They never disappoint.

Came to celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The food was old school Italian and it was made right. The ONLY thing I didn't enjoy was my dide of broccoli raab, the garlic tasted a little burnt and gave it a weird taste. It was the only thing we didn't finish. Other than that, we absolutely loved the rest of our meal. We didn't get dessert because we had cake at home, but next time we go we'll definitely try some. The service was fantastic, our waiter was attentive and made sure we were enjoying everything and the bar tender made a fantastic martini. The restaurant ambiance is lovely and it seems to be a go to place for couples and families. I'm glad we decided to check Filomena's out, and I look forward to going back again!

Their antipasto course is phenomenal & their penne vodka is one of my favorites but unfortunately the shell steak had no real flavor & the chicken parm was a bit mediocre this time around. Service was awesome as per usual!

I have always wanted to try out this restaurant. I heard good things about this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The interior was bright and clean looking. The service was excellent. Waiters helping out each other was great to see. The food was excellent. I started with the grilled octopus and my galpal had the stuff calamari. Both appetizers were delicious. For my entree I the filet of sole in white wine sauce and my galpal had a shrimp dish with Marsala sauce mushroom and cheese. Both dishes were excellent. The restaurant was packed. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Would I come back? Absolutely.

Went for dinner tonight without a reservation and they made room for us in the back room. There were many good specials to choose from. We got calamari and a house salad for starters. They take their time in between courses which is nice. We got penne vodka, chicken parm and sunday sauce for mains and all were enjoyed. Their red sauce is great and meatballs were so tender. My family enjoyed their tartufo for dessert as well as a toasted almond coconut cake which was amazing. The service was excellent- friendly and attentive.

So my wife stands 100 % correct !!! The food and service over here is on point !!! Eating here just last Saturday for my cousins engagement party was truly an amazing experience and brought back so many good memories of my Nana's real deal home authentic Italian cooking .... Their appetizers one after the other were delicious; Their antipasto; Their eggplant rotini; Their fried calamari; Their mini potato croquettes & we can't forget their roasted artichoke hearts even their pizza unbelievable every dish tastier then the next.... Pasta; I had their penny à la vodka and my wife had the penny Filetto de Pomodoro both dishes 100 % we had to share em ... Dinner; we both went with their shell steak & roasted potatoes & string beans sautéed with garlic and oil super delicious... I saw their other dinners and again one looked more appetizing than the other; Shrimp Scampi, Veal Marsala; Chicken franchise & their Brozzini all were delicious as per the rest of our family .. As I said my wife & her family eats here frequently and for sure I will be making this restaurant one of my twice a month eatery ... Highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to eat here again and take more pictures for our yelpers ... Thanks Filomena's Greg D &

This is a "Passion fruit Martini " -a perfect blend of world- class vodka with nodes of passion fruit.

A must-have gastronomic experience. The Chilean seabass melts in your mouth. The "Hugo Spritz" is a good to rivaling the Mojito. The service by such staff as Michael, Hunter, and EJ is phenomenal. All this paired with a superb atmosphere make a must try!

Sunday night dinner at Filomena's, hungry and ready. The restaurant greets you with the bar and two seat booths on the left, and full table service beyond. It's a warm and intimate environment. The service came quickly and we were underway. The bread, served warm and with butter was a tasty way to get start. We ordered the mussels appetizer and a baked artichoke app which was one of the specials. They were both delicious. I ordered a special, the Fillet of Sole with a side of pasta marinara. The fish was divine; warm, flaky and lightly breaded. I will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items.

The bread basket was fresh and amazing, the coconut martini was insane (I could have ordered multiple because they were so delicious but they were strong so I only had 1), The calamari was also incredibly fresh and delicious, the spicy vodka cavatelli with burrata was unbelievable (definitely spicy which I was happy about), and the peanut butter cake slice was a perfect ending to the meal. Service was on point all night. The staff is on top of everything and also incredibly nice and ready to offer recommendations. The restaurant was packed the entire time we were there (2+ hours on a saturday night) for good reason. Everyone in the restaurant looked happy. The restaurant was also beautiful and one side had a beautiful bar and additional seating and the main dining room was spacious and had tons of seating. They even had a lovely bread spread to start, with a variety of fresh options and butter that everyone kept going back to. The menu had something for everyone, which I really appreciated. I ordered the seafood vodka pasta (no pork), and it was packed with flavor--definitely a standout for me. I also had a fresh salad that complemented everything nicely. The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially with dietary needs in our group, including gluten-free, vegetarian, and even kid-friendly options. The ambiance deserves a special mention--the interior is absolutely stunning and really elevates the whole dining experience. The only downside was a bit of confusion when it came time to split the bill. Since we had a larger group and some paid cash, it got a little tricky and took longer than expected. Given that we booked in advance, smoother coordination would've been ideal. That said, I truly had a wonderful time and would definitely come back again!

Their menu alone was overwhelming because they had so many choices that looked good! There were so many pages of options I forgot to take a picture except for the dessert menu haha. I personally ordered the Eggplant Rollatini as I'm a huge fan of eggplant and this dish did not disappoint! I also ordered a Calamari Fritti to share with the whole table and this too, was absolutely delicious and a generous sized portion. It's definitely an appetizer to be shared. The calamari was tender and fresh, not overly oily. It also came with a side of I think marinara sauce. My friends ordered the Linguini Clams (x2) and Spaghetti Nero. The portions were huge. No one was able to finish their plate and I took leftovers home. For dessert, we ordered the Gelato, all 3 flavors offered: Cookies n' Cream, Hazelnut and Ellie's Espresso Chip. Again, everything was delicious, flavorful and creamy! Each flavor came with two scoops. If you wanted extra toppings on your gelato, it's an additional charge per topping. The dessert menu also said "There is always cotton candy for everyone!" which we all thought was a dinner thing but when we inquired about it, our server said he'd bring some over for us. He brought over this humongous thing of cherry flavored cotton candy! The decor inside feels very cozy/homey. The noise level was not too loud and we were able to hear each other talk the whole time which was great. Our personal server (sorry, didn't catch his name!) and other wait staff that assisted our table were all so pleasant. Waters were always refilled and when we were leaving, we each got a little Valentine's Day themed cookie! Cute little bonus. You are also able to do coat check at the front prior to sitting down which I thought was nice. The only con is they had mandatory valet parking. I don't like valet parking because I don't like anyone to be driving my car. Their lot is pretty small and when I arrived at 12:15PM, there were still a few spots left though they were blocked off (I'm assuming for valet). Overall, I was very happy with the service and all the food and would definitely be returning in the near future!

All the food was excellent, including the desserts. It was my father's birthday and he had a great time. Our server was so friendly with my kids, even talking to them about Minecraft - which they were obviously elated about. I apologize for forgetting his name but my son wants me to let the owners know that he was the nicest "restaurant person" ever. My only real complaint is that the tables are all very cramped together. It seems like they've added tables since the last time my family was there in order to accommodate a bigger influx of patrons. However it feels very tight and our table was in an awkward place (sticking out in front of the French doors that lead into the other room). Other than that the atmosphere is very welcoming, all the floor staff were nice, we had a great time and left very full!
