I am happy to have found Shirley. The flowers on the day of my wedding were even better than I had imagined. They are so lovely, and I feel as though I am at a wedding from a fairy tale. I adore the color and all of the floral details. Shirley is very understanding, especially when dealing with a bride who has many questions. I adore their work and highly recommend it to anyone who needs flowers for décor.
Shirley and her team did a phenomenal job executing our vision to reality. We requested a very specific modern yet cozy red theme for our wedding in December and they did just that. The photos here do not show the warmth when the lights were dimmed and the floating candles were lit but they were truly stunning. Definitely recommend using Jelo for your decor needs. My only point of feedback is given how early we reserved them sometimes it wasn't as easy to get a hold of them during the initial design phase but once we were in contact the process was very smooth and execution was excellent.
Shirley and her team were amazing to work with. From the first call, through all our email communications, and all the way until the end of my wedding day. I put full trust in Shirley executing my vision and she did NOT disappoint. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND. I had a very specific vision I wanted to achieve and wanted my flowers to be unique, incorporating dry florals and she did just that! She was extremely helpful and responsive and even helped me pick some colors for my table linens to match with my florals. She helped me stick to my budget and I never felt any pressure to add on more stuff. She suggested ways I could save money or repurpose florals. My guests were absolutely STUNNED with my centerpieces and were so thrilled they could take them home too! My jaw literally dropped when I saw my bouquet, my bridesmaids' bouquets, and groomsmens' boutonnieres. If you want a florist that takes pride in their work and delivers unique creations, you need to hire Jelo! I also used their photo booth and sign services. My guests had a blast at the photo booth! And the attendants were super sweet and friendly even helping us pick props for every photo. I loved that I could pick my designs and Shirley sent proofs for approval a few days prior to ensure there was no incorrect info. If i could give Jelo 100 stars, I would!
WOW. I am honestly speechless. I contacted Shirley for my baby shower and let me tell you, it was the BEST thing that I ever did. Shirley is an absolute professional and is amazing at what she does. She takes the time to understand what your vision is and adds in her expertise. She was always extremely responsive and even took the time to send me suggestions/links/photos to make my baby shower vision come to life. She was flexible, personable and everything you would hope for. Yesterday, 9/26 was my baby shower & guys... her team did an AMAZING job. Actually, amazing is an understatement, my baby shower was DREAMY!!! It was everything I ever wanted and more. Once I entered the venue and saw my vision come to fruition, I cried, tears of joy (Yes, I cried!!! It could be the hormones!) but every single one of my guests were in awe. Everyone commented on how beautiful the decor was! IT WAS PERFECT. EVERYTHING was! From the flower arrangements, to the welcome sign, to the balloon wall.. the level of detail, passion and professionalism was present in every corner. Shirley & team, thank you for everything & for over delivering. I will be your customer FOR LIFE.
Shirley and the JELO team are absolute rockstars. We used their services for our florals, decor and photo booth, and everything was perfect. What the JELO team is great at is their ability to take your wedding vision, and bring it to life. They're also incredibly accommodating and take in consideration of Chinese and Western values, and making sure the appropriate colors and flowers are used. JELO's pricing is extremely reasonable and they will accommodate to fit your budget. We were able to have our welcome sign, seating chart, and photo booth template all streamlined into one design custom made by their designer. Their photo booth team was great at getting the lines moving, and it was a crowd favorite. We were the least worried about our florals because of how much trust we had for the JELO team. Look no further to consider them for your floral and decor needs!!!
We booked flower and decor services through Jelo for our wedding in November. Prices were very reasonable for the package received and alongside wedding planning services booked through Genesis (Shirley Chau), we had a wonderful experience. We opted personal flowers (bride bouquet, and boutonnière for parents and groom, as well as half tall and half short enter pieces with some candle accents and an elaborate sweetheart table. We also chose to repurpose our the flower arch used in both our ceremony and reception decor. Shirley was nice enough to provide us a complimentary tossing bouquet and cake flowers which really tied everything together. Just make sure that your contract reflects carefully everything discussed and your inspiration picture are clear and confirmed with the Jelo team. I'm a meticulous planner and followed up often to make sure everything was exactly as we had discussed. It was very helpful to pull pictures from Pinterest and Jelo's IG and Website to show as reference. The vendors arrived on time to setup and stayed late to break it all down. Guests were able to take the floral centerpieces home at the end of the night! The only thing they couldn't take were the tall clear vases and the floating Monet glasses with candles on the short centerpieces, but the flowers themselves were up for grabs.
I wish there was a way to express emotion via a review because I know I will not be able to express via words what an amazing experience I had with Shirley and her team. Like many others - she has left me speechless. I planned my wedding in a little less then two months which means I had to move fast in finding someone for decor and planning with them. First off, the value / budget Shirley offered fit my needs better than many other offers I had so that decision was easy. During the process Shirley's communication was effective and fast which also made me feel better. So... back to my wedding. Two months left me with a lot to do in little time so I was really relying on Shirley to bring the room to life. I sent her a few Pinterest pictures of my vision - romantic - greenery - white and candles. That was it. I wasn't 100% sure what the room would look like when I would walk in, but let me tell you - it was better than I could have ever dreamed!! Shirley and team brought an already beautiful room to another level. I wish I had more pictures to share, but I havent gotten my album yet. Just know it was perfect. Besides beautiful decor Shirley was great at communicating with our wedding planner and finished according to schedule and came after the wedding to pick everything up. If you have read this much, STOP THINKING and just book Shirley. I cannot say more great things. I wish I had big events every month so I could work more with the team. THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Where do we begin? Shirley has done so much for us over the past year and we cannot begin to thank her enough. Initially, we first visited Jelo with the intention of ordering our wedding invitations only. However, after meeting with Shirley, we instantly connected with her and her studio's wedding portfolio. We love the modern and romantic concepts that the design team executes. It did not take us long to officially choose Shirley as she was trustworthy and we trusted her to create our dream vision. Shirley pays very close attention to detail and she will get to know you and your style as she is chatting with you to understand what you and your partner like. Another great attribute of Shirley is that she is very knowledgeable about what traditional parents may prefer and she had many helpful suggestions along the way when we were designing our wedding invites. Jelo's design team created the most beautiful wedding invitation and RSVP set that I have ever seen! We were so delighted to see the final product, the design really set the tone for our wedding. We received endless compliments on our wedding invites. We loved the elegant backdrop design and setup on our wedding day. The final creation was a fairytale affair! All the minuscule details were complete perfection. Shirley and her team did a wonderful job executing the idea and setting up even during a very limited time crunch. Additionally, the photo booth team was great, the props were cute and the quality of the photos were superb. All our family & friends enjoyed taking fun photos at the photo booth! Our guests really liked the layout of the photos and the 4x6 format. We also decided on a seating board chart to help organize our seating arrangement. Which turned out to be a wonderful idea as this allowed our greeter to assist our guests and direct them more efficiently. This option is so much better than the paper handout, which can get messy and become time-consuming. Shirley is super organized and she will make sure everything is PERFECT! Shirley treats you like her friend instead of another customer walking through the door. Everyone was always super friendly which allowed us to feel welcomed and comfortable. Jelo is a team of dedicated professionals whom work efficiently to deliver beautiful results. If you can dream it then Jelo will create your dream vision. I would love to work with Shirley again in the future to plan other events!
Shirley and the whole Jelo team made our vision come to life! Shirley is so kind, professional, and really has an eye for design and colors. She was patient and helped us decide on the right colors, types of flowers in season, and what decor would go nicely at our venue. Shirley made the process very easy and the results of the flowers were absolutely gorgeous. I had so many guests tell me they never care for centerpieces at weddings but saw how unique and beautiful our flowers were and they were so impressed! All the guests wanted to take the centerpieces home without me even asking people to please take them . I also worked with Jelo to design our signs and welcome table and everything looked so pretty! I am glad we were able to ask for specific customizations and edits to the design. Working with Shirley was really easy and I'm so glad we picked them as our florist and decor.
Jelo has decor foresight to rival top Instagram wedding decorators on IG and Pinterest while having the number of options to choose from like an online retailer. The value of the decor as a ratio to the quality of aesthetics can't be beat. Truly pinterest worthy design concepts and is easy to work with to modify and perfect your vision for your wedding. Thank you.
Their services are amazing! I worked with Shirley for my wedding invitation set, photobooth, seating chart, backdrop and decorations. My favorite part is the same customized look and feel on everything (my theme was blue hydrangeas/flowers of sort). There is a small customized fee for your own design on the invites/photos, but honestly it is so worth it. They worked with me tirelessly in getting the right design in every part of the process for months before the wedding day. We also needed both Chinese and English to accommodate our guests - and they were so helpful with translations and recommendations! We had so many compliments on the invitations and honestly they were beyond my expectations. They put so much effort into everything, it was all so beautiful and dreamy. I cannot thank them enough. Unfortunately I didn't have a picture of the welcome table and I'm keeping my seating chart private, but I think it goes to show how unique and passionate they are with each and every single project. Bring your Pinterest ideas to them and they will bring it to life.
Shirley and the Jelo team did an amazing job at making our wedding vision come to life. The flowers looked absolutely amazing in our reception. They are professional Their services are also priced very reasonably compared to other florists in town.
I am highly recommended everyone who is looking for wedding decorations. Shirley and her professional team will make your dream come true. I am glad that I made a right choice to choose Jelo as my wedding planner. Jelo did my wedding invitation, wedding decoration, florists，and photo booth. I love everything that they have done for my wedding. No word can express my gratitude to Jelo. Thank you Shirley and her team made my "Tiffany Blue" wedding come true. A+++++++ service We love everything from Jelo

We booked Jelo for our floral arrangements and photobooth for our October 2025 wedding. We worked directly with Shirley to bring our vision to life. We booked her a year in advance and made a few changes up until last month. Shirley was very accommodating, and during our final meeting we confirmed all the colors and counts. She was organized and offered great suggestions for the family boutonnieres. All the flowers turned out beautifully, and the team did an amazing job matching the colors we asked for. We chose silk flowers for the arch, and they looked even better than real ones. We received so many compliments--everyone was practically fighting to take the centerpieces home! XD The photobooth picture quality was also excellent. Two attendants were available throughout the reception to assist guests, and even our shy older relatives went up to take photos. Everyone received a paper copy, and the team set aside an extra set for us to take home. We also received an online album, which made it easy to download all the photos. We highly recommend Jelo for anyone's wedding or event floral needs. read more

Highly recommend using Shirley and team for flowers, photobooth and wedding signage (welcome board & guest list). After looking at my pinterest board and giving her an idea of what I like to see, Shirley tied it altogether. I loved how she took an idea and made the design consistent across all the products. I love her style and everything was set up on time and smoothly. What actually distinguished her from all the other florists was not only that she's a one stop shop for the decorations (and helped relieve a lot of stress considering I don't have a wedding planner), but also because of her transparent pricing sheet where you can easily input and get an estimate of what the total fee would be. Other florists would give a random number (w/o getting the details of guest count) or ask you to come in to the office first, when all I wanted was to get a budget estimate before deciding to come in. Very easy to work with and would love to work with Shirley and team again on other big milestone events! read more

Thank you Shirley and the Jelo team for bringing our wedding vision to life! Still getting compliments from our guests months later. I rarely give reviews on Yelp for anything other than food related. But how can I not give a nice shout out to the best decoration team who made our wedding the most beautiful wedding party ever! The pandemic had not been nice to couples that tried to get married last year, but Shirley was nothing but flexible with our last minute changes in dates. She was very responsible, she reach out couple weeks ahead of the wedding while I was still trying to gather my head around so many others things I need to do for the wedding to do a run down and figure out our theme color for the day, matching the colors with fall theme that I requested and the bridesmaid dress and grooms tux. She gave very honest and nice recommendations that made our wedding ceremony decoration not tacky but beautiful and elegant! The day of the wedding, she coordinated seamlessly with my other crew that help set up our wedding, she did everything in a very timely fashion, not a minute delay even thou our venue was all the way in Bronx and she is based at Brooklyn. We also did the Photobooth with her and the props that were provided to us were super cute and fun. Without the wonderful JELO decoration team, our wedding will not be as perfect as it is! Thank you so much for the outstanding work! read more

Thank you to Shirley and her team for making our wedding day spectacular!!! We looked around for multiple florists but Shirley was the only one who didn't shut down my ideas and actually welcomed them, being very open and flexible about fitting within our budget while also making my wedding vision come to life, including the very difficult to find chinese lattice arch! We are so grateful for Shirley's talented decor skills-- everything looked amazing, perfectly in line with what I asked for, and above and beyond my expectations !! She also coordinated the welcome and seating chart signs perfectly, and as a bonus her photobooth props were super cute (and we were also able to customize the photobooth design to fit our theme) ! I just had my dream wedding last Sunday and it was all thanks to Shirley at JeLo paper and Decor. She was very detailed in arranging my flowers and decorations for the day. I love love the flower wall they sent me! I've received so many compliments from my guest. It looked amazing especially during the ceremony and behind the sweetheart table at the reception. If you need flowers or any decorations, this is the place to go. They also come with Photo Booth, party favors, and much more. Shirley also knows a lot about the Chinese wedding traditions. She will make sure Parents on both sides are happy with the arrangements. I'm so glad I went with Shirley, she made this happen. I would definitely recommend her to all my friends and family! read more

Shirley and the Jelo team were truly amazing! Recommended by a friend, we reached out to Jelo for a customize wedding. Planning this wasn't easy due to the pandemic. We had to postpone our wedding day and there were many setbacks and uncertainties. Shirley and her team was very understanding of our situation and kept in touch with us. They made this whole process go by smoothly. There were a lot of communications between us and the designer Nam as well. She and her team even made the extra trip to deliver our invitations to us. We can't thank them enough. She and Nam helped us envision the Wedding we wanted. From our customized invitation, photo props, ceremony program, welcome sign, seating chart, table numbers, decor, and photo prints. They went above and beyond our expectations. We can't express how much we love each and everyone of the customized items. Even our guests were complimenting how it was one of a kind wedding. I highly recommend them. read more
