Happy 3 yr old

Booked a diva package for my daughter and niece. We arrived a few minutes late but they were still accommodating and also have massive amounts of parking on the property. The location is very spacious and pretty, perfect for a little girls dream day. My daughter had her first haircut and my niece just got a trim and a style. They tell you you'll be able to pick a updo pictured on their board about 7-12 styles possibly. What they don't mention is not al the hairstylists can do these styles. My niece winded up having a great updo while my daughter came out like a frizz ball, she is a Latina so not sure if they just aren't versed in her hair texture or maybe the stylists was having an off day.My nieces hair came out beautiful the braid was tight and done with sparkles she loved it. The mani and pedi were adorable and perfectly suited for a child along with an adorable robe. I would definitely come back again and just hope for a better hair experience, the stylist was not rude or mean just didn't have braiding experience other than this I will bring my daughter back.

Nothing but good things to say about this place. Took my son there for the 1st time and Peggy did a great job with his haircut. She was super friendly and patient and was able to engage my son in a conversation to ease his anxiety. This place is just the cutest! Wish there was a place like that when I was younger.

I am a 61 year old woman who, when stressed, cuts my own hair ending creating a mess. My hair is…read morealso thinning and yesterday looked really dry and "sad". I went to the salon because I needed to be presentable for a wedding. Kelly looked at my head and said not to worry but she needed to shorten the length by a bit to fix the back ... I responded "do your magic". Well she did ... my hair look fantastic !! I feel fantastic!!! My daughter said I look fantastic!!! My hair are bouncing look healthy and with the cut she gave me my head look full of hair !! Love love love the results !!

I opted to try this salon for my first ouidad haircut, since I am on a curly hair journey. I booked…read moreonline which was easy and it listed a price range, and of course ended up being charged the highest rate possible for my cut later. Though I did like my haircut, it wasn't good enough to go back. The interior is beautiful and I was greeted kindly and offered tea. I did drink some of the tea once it finally cooled but the rest of the experience was not so relaxing and I ended up leaving with half my cup still full. Because we had to diffuse my hair, I ended up spending a lot of time uncomfortably draping my body low on the chair, as told to do by my stylist. I wish they had a recliner or a better way to diffuse my hair - it was incredibly uncomfortable. For such a high end salon, I feel like there needs to be a better way! Vibe seems very cold and I did not feel good upon leaving. I was sold up on some curl shampoo, conditioner, and post shower leave in - and felt I couldn't refuse. I started to take a photo of the label so I could buy it separately later, and the stylist said "Well where else are you going to buy it? No one else carries it". I bought them since she had talked them up the whole appointment and the pressure was high. Turns out they haven't worked very well for me, despite being told I needed to use something better to get rid of all the "buildup" I had on my hair from my other shampoo/conditioner. I followed every instruction given by my stylist but using LESS product actually has been the best thing I could do. She gave me a hug when I was leaving - trying to mend the blow of a $250+ purchase I guess. I also was pushed to make a maintenance appointment for 3 months later, which would be about now. I declined. I wanted to see how my hair grew in - since I don't get my hair cut very often. Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable coming back, it was much too expensive for the experience I had. TLDR: posh, pushy, and expensive About $160 for curly wash and cut, diffused $35 x 3 products, $265 total Not for me!

Always such an enjoyable trip, and the experience differs depending on the time of year. That said,…read morewe visit multiple times over the course of the year for various reasons. In the Spring, their garden center simply can't be beat. I purchase flats of vegetables for my garden here, and the plants always do incredibly well. Healthy, good producers, and for a great price. There also offer many varieties I can't find elsewhere. The market truly shines here. Fresh baked goods are incredible. Donuts, pies, cakes, etc. are all excellent. Fresh milk, vegetables, and eggs are also amazing. However, we LOVE their meats. You can't go wrong with any of them. The petting zoo is great for children and families. It is certainly elaborate and fun. Staff are kind and helpful, always willing to strike up conversation. Prices are reflective of the quality here. We love it. Try it out!

Do not come here if you breastfeed your baby. I was having a…read morenice day picking flowers and veggies until I made my way to the market. My baby got hungry, so I looked for a place to nurse him. The only sitting area around (aside from the pumpkin garden that had no seats available) was a small secluded room next to the wine section. There were no customers there. So I made my way to a stool, took out my nursing poncho (I'm European so for me breastfeeding is completely natural, nonetheless I understand and respect the fact that other people might get distracted by it so I still wear a poncho to cover myself in public) and was about to take my baby out of his stroller when a lady working in the counter asked me what was I looking for. I replied "nothing thanks I just have to nurse him". She then stopped in complete shock, looked at me in disgust and said "You CANNOT DO THAT HERE". I think I was just as in shock upon hearing this in the 21st century, in a so-called "family-friendly" place. I quickly got up, turned away, and had to go all the way back to my car with my crying baby to be able to feed him. Of course as soon as I finished breastfeeding him in my car, I drove off, and I will for sure never drive into this place again. Nor will I recommend it to any other moms. Really sucky experience for a postpartum woman, who just moved into town, and was very excited to take her baby to the farm. I had booked my tickets a couple days ago and what I expected to be a fun farm day turned out to be an experience where I felt judged and discriminated for having to do something as physiological as feeding my baby. I understand a room next to a wine-selling section might not be an ideal place to nurse, trust me, it wasn't for me either. But the lady could have been a LOT nicer, much less judgy, and be polite enough to guide me into a better place to feed my baby rather than making me go away as if I was gross. I think if you work in a customer-facing role in a family farm, being this rude to a family should be a deal breaker and managing these situations with kindness should be non-negotiable. And if you're a place that "welcomes" families with kids of all ages, you should also expect some breastfeeding moms might have to feed their children.. And either have a place for them to do so, or good enough manners to handle the situation. But maybe that's just me. Extremely bizarre day for me and my family.
