They have 175 wing flavors to choose from. So there's something for everyone. We decided to try 3; Cajun dry rub, OMFG, and Buffalo cool ranch Dorito. First of all, their wings are crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. The seasonings / sauces are well distributed and generous so each wing is perfectly coated. Starting off with the Cajun dry rub, the flavors were spot on. This one was my favorite out of the 3. It wasn't overly salty, which I usually find with Cajun flavors. OMFG is a Parmesan peppercorn and garlic buffalo blend. You definitely get the spice of the buffalo sauce with the aftertaste of Parmesan. It's absolutely delicious but to me it tasted mostly like buffalo sauce. Buffalo cool ranch Dorito, as the name suggests is also a buffalo sauce base with cool ranch Dorito crumbs. This place is such a good vibe. We went on a whim and decided to switch up date night, which we usually go to restaurants for a little wine and dine. But it was football Sunday and it was the later game so we figured let's drop into a bar and have a beer. We decided to check out blue 42 naturally because of its name and its football Sunday! The server was good. The food and wings were honestly excellent however, I do have to mention that all of the drinks are served in plastic cups. I had a reservation at this place from last Thursday for today (Monday) to watch Knicks game 3. Upon arriving I realized one of the seats at our table was a folding chair and asked the table next to me if they were using the regular chair at their table since it was only 2 of them. As I was doing this the manager comes over and says I can't have the chair because it's for the next tables reservation and I said " so what about the reservation I made last week , is that not deserving of a regular chair" he then proceeds to let me sit and then tells me that I'm lucky he's having a good day after this we order food as this place this known for their wings and massive amount of flavors. The awesome sauce seemed to be a yum yum sauce but could not be exactly sure as the menu did not provide a description and just stated 'don't' ask - It's awesome." Regardless, it was very tasty. It was not spicy at all if unfamiliar with yum yum sauce. The pickle sauce was decent. I would have preferred more of the sauce present, but it was okay at best. The special empanada consisted of hot sausage and mozzarella. There were two to an order and they were big. The overall empanada was extremely crispy.
