The food was tastey, the service was good, and the place was clean and roomy. I love that the parking was ample also.

We went here to watch the Mets game and we loved it. Lots of TVs ... great food choices and reasonable prices too. They are known for their wings we tried them and they were awesome. Also shared a salad, burger, and the korean beef. All great! Valet is not necessary and nor are the workers in the bathroom. It wasn't that busy and it's an unnecessary added expense ... plus we felt bad because we used the restroom and didn't bring money.

Found this Chill spot while visiting from out of state, great for a sports pub vibe. The drinks were on point, but the food left something to be desired. I tried the guava Thai wings, but the sauce missed the mark--neither mango nor spice came through. The curly fries were solid, and the calamari was decent, not pictured here but the marinara sauce tasted like it came straight from a can of SpaghettiOs--not appetizing at all. The bartender was nice but I can't remember his name. I'd definitely come back for the drinks, sports, and music, but I'll likely skip the food next time.

Absolutely can't beat this vibe for some freshly poured cold beers and watching sports on what their feels like 100 tvs. Awesome beer selection with a lot of it local NJ brews, great food and service was on point the Sunday I was in (not a lot of people there, but still very good). Want to come back during the NFL playoffs to enjoy again!

I've been to Midland Brew House a couple times now and I'm not itching to go back anytime soon. The first time I went middle of the week and unsurprisingly we were one of the three groups that were there. It was like a ghost town and they were cleaning up to close early because of the lack of customers. Service was okay but definitely felt rushed. The other times I went was for Trivia Night. We tried the Dip Trio and Mac and Cheese bites. Both fell extremely flat. The dips were watery and tasted like nothing. The Mac and Cheese bites were so hard it was a struggle to cut into them. They were also very dry. The only saving grace that night was their house margaritas which we were surprised by considering the let down with the food. The place is nice and when they're busy it is a nice vibe. Definitely would go there just for drinks and skip the food though. Or maybe I just need to try other things on the menu.

First time here visiting my parents nearby. Not impressed. Entering the parking lot and immediately had a terrible and confusing first impression. We saw a sign for "valet parking" pulling into the driveway which my husband and I laughed quizzingly at as this is just some non-descript sports bar in the middle of a run-down mostly-abandoned industrial area of town. We see another car park a hundred feet or so down into a half-filled parking lot. We proceed to park there too and then the valet guy proceeds to RUN to our car and YELL at us for parking in what is "obviously" valet parking (there is no sign saying this is a valet lot and it's not even a lot at all). He says we need to (again) "obviously" park in the church lot across the street if we don't want valet -- like parking across a four lane road in a church parking lot is intuitive. Okay then. Off to a good start. Also, turns out the valet parking here is FREE which he did not mention. So why wouldn't he just tell us this and take our keys? Or did he want us to turn around, go back to the valet stand, and then have him take our keys so he could drive the car into the exact same place??? The whole thing made no sense and was incredibly irritating. Attitude also odd and unnecessary. There were like five cars parked in the whole place folks. No, I'm not still annoyed at all. Service inside was also pretty awful. Felt worse because the restaurant was almost entirely empty, with only one or two other tables occupied. There was a host stand but no one was there to seat us. After twiddling our thumbs for a while and finally getting seated, a server did come by within a reasonable time to take our orders but after that he never came back once to see if we wanted another beverage or needed anything. We couldn't even find anyone to flag him down and literally could not find anyone to give us ketchup or a water refill. Again, empty restaurant and really dampened the mood. My parents go there often because they live down the street and said service is a consistent problem. Ambiance: Credit given as due. The space is pretty new and is really cozy, especially for a sports bar. They were also super-decorated for Christmas, including a tree, which was really cute. The space is divided into a front wraparound bar area with a few booths and a back area with traditional seating. There are large flat screen tvs in both sections but not so many as to be obnoxious or scare your girlfriend off. You could totally come here and not watch any sports. I assume that they do put the sound on for football though and that it gets pretty crowded on Sundays. I can definitely see this place giving Miller's a run for its money during football season and I think it's a great add in that respect because while Bergen county may be the retail store capital of the country, it oddly sorely lacks in sports bars. If you live here, you know. And in that case, you probably know about Midland Brew House for this reason and maybe don't need to read this review. Food: Disappointing. I had the French Onion Soup, which was pretty good although they just dumped a piece of bread in it rather than the proper crouton which was pretty gross. But I'd definitely order this if you like French Onion Soup or if the rest of this review makes you afraid to order anything else. My husband had the disco tots, consisting of tater tots, short ribs, and braised red cabbage with a side of gravy. Sometimes you gotta let kids learn by letting them fall. The tots were just Ortega tots because what more can you do with that. Fine. The short ribs were shredded and pretty tender if dry and under-seasoned and the too-vinegary cabbage really did not work at all with the dish. It also needed more gravy and ketchup but, as previously discussed, that wasn't in the cards for us at the Brew House. My mother got the burger which looked sizeable but dry and was not cooked to order. She said it was good but she says everything is good so who knows. My stepfather ordered some sort of pork sandwich (the "Roadhouse") that he said was terrible. But he says everything is terrible so who knows. They are not food sharers which is a terrible personality trait so I really do, in fact, not know. In sum, I think absolutely go to Midland Brew House if you are looking for a place to watch a game and drink some beer. Do not go here if you expect anyone to be thankful for your business or want a proper meal.

This is a great place to go if you want a high quality drink and dining experience. You can also go later and it turns to a club like scene upstairs. I would tell people to go here if they have never been. Definitely one of the top bars in the area.

This is certainly not my usual dive bar, this is not a dive. But it's a restaurant with an excellent bar, friendly staff, and delicious food. Maybe not my usual type of venue, but still very nice decor and ambiance. Great spot, I recommend it!

With over 180 wing flavors to choose from, the only problem you will have is deciding because you will want to explore this seemingly never ending list. These are a couple of the wings I explored: Peanut Butter & Jelly Wings: These wings were smothered in creamy peanut butter with a heaping mound of jelly. At first I was reluctant to explore this unusual combination, but as soon as I gave it a try, it was love at first bite. Feel free to smear or dip; the choice is yours. S'mores Wings: This is another unique, but unbelievably savory combination. These dessert style wings were smothered in marshmallow cream, drizzled with chocolate syrup, and sprinkled with crushed pieces of graham crackers. It was a sight for sore eyes. If you need additional chocolate sauce don't be afraid to ask for "s'more." And make sure you request "s'more" napkins because you will certainly need them! In addition to the wings, I also explored one of the main courses. Blue 42 Burger: Named after the restaurant, this burger is topped with mozzarella sticks, blue cheese crumble and bacon. The Blue 42 char on top of the bun has a nice decorative touch. If you are a fan of the Green Bay Packers, you have come to the right spot. The interior is decorated with Packers memorabilia, which even includes wall art on the ceiling. All fans are still welcome even if you aren't an aficionado of the Packers. The restaurant staff also supports New Jersey's finest, New Jersey's bravest, the ambulance corp, and the armed forces. A quick heads-up: on Google Maps it's listed as Ceviche 517, but the sign on the building says Tavern 517, which initially threw us off. We were circling around until we decided to just trust the physical address--and we're so glad we did. As soon as we walked in, the name didn't even matter anymore. The decor is stunning--definitely has an upscale, Instagram-worthy vibe with a modern lounge feel. We might've come a little early because the place was quiet when we arrived, but that worked in our favor as we got to settle in comfortably and explore the menu. Drinks were a mixed experience. We tried the margarita flight, which included coconut, passion fruit, and strawberry. The coconut and passion fruit margaritas were absolutely delicious--fresh, balanced, and memorable. The strawberry, however, was a big miss--tasted like kid's medicine and no one at the table could finish it. We also ordered a drink called something like Chicola--it had ginger ale, lime juice, and some type of liquor, and unfortunately, it was another one we couldn't get through. The flavors just didn't mix well, and everyone at the table agreed it was a no for us. On the flip side, the Perfect Mule with a strawberry twist, the Henny Mojito, and a bold and fun drink called No Sheets were much better received. Menus are displayed on sleek tablets, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the in-house menu offered way more options than what's listed online. And the food? Absolutely excellent. The Tallarín Saltado with vegetables was beyond delicious--we placed it in the center so everyone could dig in. The ceviche flight was fresh and flavorful, and the jalea (a fried seafood platter) didn't last long on the table either. One friend had the larger ceviche bowl paired with a mojito and already asked to come back just for that combo. Even the kid's arroz chaufa with chicken impressed us, with a big enough portion for leftovers. If there's one thing that fell flat, it was the atmosphere--at least early in the evening. When we arrived, the music playing sounded like retro video game tunes, but thankfully it transitioned into upbeat Spanish hits, including some great bachata that gave the space some energy. All in all, despite a few drink misses and a quiet start, this spot is a gem. The food alone is worth the trip, and we're definitely planning to return--next time a little later in the evening to hopefully catch a livelier vibe!

The music selection was fantastic, and the huge TVs added a fun touch. I also loved that the menu was on an iPad, it's modern and convenient. I had every intention of giving this place five stars. The food did not disappoint: the appetizer was delicious, the dinner full of flavor, and the drink... well, "good." However, I have to address a major concern: the cocktail prices are astronomical, with some drinks approaching $70 after tax. I expected top-shelf liquor that would at least leave me feeling fine the next day. I ordered one cocktail made with Casamigos Tequila, a premium choice but over 24 hours later, I am still dealing with a relentless hangover: a pounding headache, a dizzy, woozy sensation, brain fog, and an unsettled stomach. This strongly suggests that I was served a cheap, bottom-shelf tequila instead. This is misleading and frankly unacceptable advertising premium liquor but delivering otherwise borders on food fraud. Some customers notice, and over time, this kind of practice will erode trust, lead to negative reviews, and drive away even more customers. On top of that, while I'm normally a generous tipper for excellent service, I was surprised to see an automatic tip added for a table of only 2, along with an additional tip suggestion. Overall, this was my first experience here and, unfortunately, my last. While the ambiance and food were great, the misleading drinks and high prices for "top-shelf" leave me no choice but to rate this place 2.5 stars. In my book, quality liquor makes all the difference when looking for a truly great night out.
