PROS: This bar was hopping on a Saturday night. They served food, had a good drink selection, atmosphere was bright, music good with interactive DJ, and had tables for you to sit at CONS: Hardly any street parking, in a sketchy area which makes the bouncers pat you down, and its small inside so you're shoulder to shoulder with everyone OVERALL: The bar gets a good rating despite some flaws they cannot control. I would recommend coming here if you're in the area

Jojo never misses. It's the kind of spot that just gets it right every time. I can walk in alone or with company and still get treated like I'm the main event. Letty deserves all the flowers her energy's unmatched, her service is top-tier, and her drinks? Always on point. It's the kind of experience that keeps you coming back without thinking twice.

Shrimp tacos are a must. The lively atmosphere always makes us enjoy coming here. The staff is very friendly and makes this place welcoming. I also love the sweet potato fries.

I met one of my sorority sisters here for a drink and to catch up. I made reservations for 4pm but I was running a little late. The place opened at 4 so I called at 4 to let them know and no one answered. I called about 15 times so I could let them know I would be late but still no one answered. When I arrived I seen they were just opening and the man said they got there late. The bar and grill was cute and cozy inside. Our server was Joann and she was nice but not as attentive. I had to call her and the bartender over to our table a couple times. They have a small happy hour menu and my friend and I split the wings for her and fries for me. I had a margarita and it was sour so they added strawberry which was better. I then had the passion fruit margarita and that was tasty and they both were $6 each. The fries were ok just a little salty. My friend said the chicken was just ok but she enjoyed her wine and passion fruit margarita. The bill came to about $38 and they charge you a little extra if you use a credit card. No one told us that. All in all we had just an ok time.

Visited here on a Thursday during happy hour (~6pm) with my boyfriend. We got lucky and found parking right in front (not always the case). The music was good, the deals were great, the food even better, and the service was great. We got 2 orders of Thai chili wings & fries (the first one was so good we got a 2nd), an order of mozzarella sticks, and my boyfriend got the fish tacos. I've never had fish but I tried it and although I'm not a fan of fish it was good! My boyfriend enjoyed them. The vibe was chill but again, it was only 6pm-ish. They have a DJ on certain nights as well as themes (ladies night, comedy night, etc). We sat at the bar and service was great. We were happy to find a spot with good vibes and great food near our home. We will definitely be returning!

A friend a I were looking for a local spot with good vibes and boy did we find one at Jojos. We came on a Saturday night at almost 7 and while we struggled finding parking (only street parking around) we made it in time for their Happy Hour that is 4-7pm! We ordered margaritas and mozz sticks to start and then the Keisha cocktail and triple threat along with steak and shrimp tacos. Everything was delicious and flavorful. The ambiance was upbeat without being rowdy and the service was amazing for being such a casual and pumping vibe. Our server was incredibly attentive and friendly and made the overall experience that much better. In the end our bill with tip and taxes was around $100 which we felt was fair and very comparable for the area. Highly recommend and plan to return!

The drinks here were really good. I feel like it was a good balance between alcohol and mixer and wasn't too strong. The food was okay. My French fries were so salty I couldn't even eat them. It tasted like I was literally in the ocean. I also got cheeseburger sliders which were also okay. Not amazing but not terrible either. The place was definitely bumping, playing music, colorful lights, I can definitely see it getting busy and crowded on the weekends. The one thing I really didn't like about this restaurant was it was so HOT in there. We went on Thursday when it was one of the more hotter days, but within minutes of sitting down I was in a pile of sweat. Like physically dropping and sitting in a puddle on my chair. We ate extremely fast just to get out because everyone was visibly uncomfortably hot.

Such a nice place! It is a decently sized space, not huge, but there is a lot of room. They have a great happy hour which we tried multiple items from. The mozzarella sticks were so good! The music and lighting also gave such a good look. A must try whoever we go is LAVA CAKE!! And this one did not disappoint. Other items we tried were chicken wings, calamari, passion fruit margarita, coke and rum, and green tea shots. Something that really stood out was the presentation of the food. Since we record and take pictures of our food a lot, presentation plays a big role for us. This is a spot we will be coming back to for more!

Very chill vibe and they play good music. Small local bar. There are tvs if you want to see a game or ufc fight. The drinks are really good. We tried the burgers and they were delicious. Cool local spot.

I think me and the girls have found our go to Happy Hour Spot for the summer! This place has it all! Food, drinks, music, good customer service, you name it, this place checks off all the boxes! Came on a rainy Sunday and we were immediately drawn by the atmosphere and the vibe! All the tables had a clear partition in between which was beautifully decorated so really added to the vibe this bar was trying to create. Each of the tables also had hand sanitizer that is an added bonus. Not sure why we ordered so much food since it was just the three of us but we did! We started with an order of Garlic Parmesan Wings and an order of regular Buffalo wings for the table to share along with fries. Let me tell you how those Fries were the crispiest most flavorful fries that came with an insanely addictive chipotle sauce. So good! The wings were also packed with flavor and also had a good crisp to each bite! For our actual meals, we all decided to do tacos. We got Steak, Shrimp and Fish and since it was three to each order, we decided to split the orders so we each got one of the tacos. Might of been the rain that had us hungry because we could of tapped out after the wings, but the tacos were delicious! My favorite by far was the shrimp as it came coated in some type of red sauce that really did add to the overall flavor. The steak was also tasty and not sure how the fish was since I was too stuffed to even take a bite but one of the girls did mention it was a little on the sweet side. And let me not forget about the drinks to wash all this down! We ended up getting the Jojo13, Strawberry Mojito and Mango Mojito. The drinks were bomb and loved the presentation!! And the music!! The music had me taking out my phone to Shazam certain songs to add to my summer playlist! Absolutely loved everything about this place and cannot wait to go back to enjoy their Happy Hour Specials!!

Good drinks. Great flavored tacos. Small menu but solid food. Service was great. One downfall is that the music is so loud, you feel like you are yelling at each other when you want to talk. Might be fun for a large group!!

There may be some of you that read that and think, "Ew. Tongue?" When done right, lengua is so tender and flavorful and Maya Mexican does it right. Definitely order from here. I've never eaten at the restaurant but maybe I should. I can't imagine how much more amazing it would be if I ate it fresh out of the kitchen!

There is street parking so if you wait around long enough, you'll be able to get a spot. We had the birria tacos, al pastor, and lengua. We originally wanted to try the oreja and campechanos but they didn't have it that day. These are probably the best quesabirria tacos I've had in the area. I'm normally not a huge fan because it usually ends up being soggy, and I don't really like braised meat, as it tends to be dry. That wasn't the case here. The tacos were still crispy 20 minutes later, and the meat wasn't dry. It was stuffed to the max with beef and cheese. The broth was also very good and not watery like most other places tend to be. The al pastor tacos and lengua tacos were also very good. They're a bit smaller than similar taco spots in the neighborhood but it's quality over quantity here. If they added fresh pineapple to the pastor, it would have brought the taco over the top. I also enjoyed their homemade (sauces). They have a kick to it but be careful with the dark chipotle looking one. One drop of that, and you'll be good. Will definitely be back for some more tacos. Hopefully next time, they'll have the oreja and campechano.

I was blown away by how good their tacos were and knew i had to go back to their main location to see what's the word in flavortown. Tacos Al Pastor (9.4/10) - HOLY SHITTTT. This is arguably one of the best al pastor tacos i've had in my life (like top 10). The meat was reallyy juicy, the flavors were seeping out of that marinated meat. The pineapples were really well paired, cooked in a way that went beautifully with the pork. The tortilla, which happened to be different from the last time i got them, was still solidd. Overall all together this taco was formed elegantly and was so good i didn't even consider the sauces at first. (the sauces were buss af tho don't get me wrong). Birria Pizza (8.4/10) - The first time I got this pizza pizza, it came with a cute little mexican flag in the center. I was a little sad that it did not come with it this time :( The box came with a lovely abundant amount of limes, radishes, and cucumbers. It was all in a little baggie, I only wish the cucumbers were separated, they tasted sour because of the limes. The pizza was cut in 8 fairly sized slices, and did not hold back on the meats, but was just a little light on the cheese for my liking (I like cheese a lot). The tortllla was pretty decent and held its weight, I wish it had a little more of a bite to it, but that might just be on me for ordering a little too early (10 minutos). The meat was pretty good, nothing too crazy and about what i expect from eating birria meats. The cheese, although not plentiful, still was good and i love me some cheese (a cheese pull would've been so buss istg). These ingredients alone made for a fairly good experience, BUT what really brought it to the next level was the combination of each slice with a healthy fixing of radishes, lime juice, consome, and green sauce specifically. Consome (8.5/10) - For sure one of the better consomes i've had, it gave a very much needed moisture to the pizza pizza. They were so kind to give us not one but DOS CONSOMES CTM. The soup itself had its own great level of flavor, just the right amount of oiliness, meatiness, saltiness, and love. I was so happy to find that there was meat in the bottom of the cup, which slurped up oh so nice in my mouth ;) You know that shit when you could drink it by itself and not feel like your mouth is covered in salt crystals. Green sauce (7.6/10) - When you're used to green salsas being heavy on flavor and lighter on potency, it throws you off when you get a green sauce that flips the script! This sauce was still good and paired well with the tacos and even better with the pizza. On its own though you don't taste the typical green flavor immediately, you are met some spice at first ironically enough. Still a good sauce overall but I can definitely see it being better. Red Sauce (5.1/10) - Honestly I kinda tasted this one and put it away, I didn't really notice the flavors of it with or without the food, and only got a higher taste of spice than the green sauce. But also less flavor than the green one weirdly enough. (Esto si que es). Nopale (6/10) - The flavor was mild but alright, it had a nice crunch to it though. It didn't really pair with the tacos in my humble opinion, but i could see it pairing nicely with other dishes that have a rice and bean base. Green onion (7/10) - found it in my al pastor box, it was good, enough said. Overall in total I enjoyed my experience here once again, I would like to point out that the red sauce was different from the last times i've gotten, which was disappointing to find out because that og was fucking buss. But it did not take away from this meal, i enjoyed the tacos and pizza pizza a lot. The people are very generous with their serving sizes, additives, and maybe attitudes (we didn't really talk to the workers). I will be coming back for sure, next time i'm gonna try the burritos and get to the bottom of why people keep shitting on it, it's got me curious i gotta be deadass flavortown. On the day that I visited, it happened to be "taco Tuesday." So, I ordered from the specials and decided to try the single Pollo taco. The staff member added sliced catcus on the side since I inquired about the cactus taco. I guess I wasn't too daring to try a whole one just yet. That was my first time trying catcus... it wasn't bad at all. The taco was great. Authentic, freshly made corn tortilla, well seasoned chicken, and plenty of veggies and toppings to go with it. Based on how the restaurant is set up, you can see your order being prepared and cooked made-to-order. There were about 4-5 different sauces that were presented to the table to try with the taco ranging from heat setting from mild to flaming hot. I tried each since I am not afraid of a little spice. Along with the taco , I tried the tree Leche and the churros. Both were delicious The tres leche was a good portion, moist, and flavorful. When you order the churros, you are provided a choice of a sauce to choose from (caramel, raspberry, chocholate). I tried the raspberry sauce and caramel. The churros also were filled with a creme. Both sauces paired well with the churros, but the raspberry sauce gives it an edge. There is ample parking in a lot since the restaurant is within a plaza that is shared with other food businesses and retail shops.
