Been a long time patron of Baggios on Main St. Fort Lee. This is a one stop local Italian joint. From delicious thin crust pizza delivery to dine in, they cover it all. Portions are fairly generous and service is always friendly. Over the years, I've tried most of their menu and it's one of those places where you can't go wrong. I ordered the penne vodka with chicken and garlic knots -- easily one of the worst $40 meals I've ever had. The pasta was drenched in vodka sauce to the point it was soupy, and the chicken was shredded like leftovers instead of actual pieces. The garlic knots were burnt to a crisp -- completely inedible. Total waste of money. I don't know who thought this was acceptable to serve, but they seriously need to taste their own food before sending it out. read more

He loved the taste and the thin crust, he's looking forward to trying another pie soon. This was our first time ordering both pies, I was so glad the delicious taste was there even for pick up. This secret spot has been here for decades, and guess what? Their chicken parmigiana is still #1! This place has been around since I was in high school. 20 years ago and now this is a 10/10 for me. Small restaurant, family owned, fresh, and still so so tasteful! They haven't lost their touch. We ordered garlic knots, mozzarella sticks (well done), chicken parm, penne vodka, broccoli rob chicken and sausage w linguine. Remarkable!! Baggios Pizza is amazing - when I think about my top 5 favorite pizza places this place is right the top in the 2nd slot. I've ordered for pick up and delivery, but have never eaten inside the restaurant. The parking situation is a bit tough its located right on Main Street, where traffic high and parking is little to none. Throughout the years I've ordered a few different types of pizza from but my top two favorites are the Pizza Margherita (a classic) a nice thin crust accompanied by fresh mozzarella cheese and basil YUM! Pizza Ala Vodka again a really nice thin crust accompanied by fresh mozzarella cheese and pink vodka sauce. If you're still a little peckish after and are looking for an appetizer I'd recommend the Buffalo Wings - Baggio's does something different to the chicken where the buffalo sauce is on the inside and outside It's amazing. Also, I've only essentially had take out and can say that I've never run into mushy chicken. The chicken always has a delicious crunch! Delivery is usually quick with not too much of a wait time - I'm basically 1town away and have received my food in 15-20 minutes! read more

I was starving and was really craving pasta, specifically my favorite type of pasta dish, Cacio e Pepe. I found this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Delivery was quick and the dish came piping hot! But the second I opened the container, I knew the dish wouldn't satisfy the craving. The pasta was clearly over cooked and had no sauce on it. It felt like they had sprinkled only a tiny bit of pecorino on it, splashed it with pasta water, and put a ton of cracked black pepper. The noodles just tasted like pasta water and black pepper. I was hoping it would be saucier on the bottom or something and I just needed to give it a good mix, but that wasn't the case. I think it had a lot of potential...but the kitchen must have been in a rush to finish the dish. There was no effort to meld the cheese into the dish creating that beautiful Cacio e Pepe sauce to coat the noodles. As a dish, I'd give it a 2/10. But there really was potential. The reason for the 3 out of 5 stars is because my boyfriend got the linguine with white clam sauce and it was absolutely delicious! Again noodles were a bit overcooked but flavor was 9/10 read more

The spaghetti doesn't come with parm cheese :( good thing we had parm cheese at home Italian sub was mediocre. Def needs more oil and vinegar and not sure if it even comes with it. Interesting divergence in sentiment here but for me I echo what many have been saying ... and that this is best pizza one can get in the Fort Lee area, at least so far based on my latest experience. The real star of the pizza is the dough/crust which is airy, light and very fresh. Sauce and cheese balance is also quite good. But the real appeal for me is the fact this is by far the least greasy pizza I've had not only in the general area, including Manhattan as well. In short this is my favorite kind of pizza from a holistic POV, the ingredients taste fresh, the dough/crush is delicious and there isn't this brutally heavy/greasy feel that seems to be SO common with what I see everywhere. I also added a Tiramisu to the mix. I have no idea if they make the dessert here but I enjoyed it and finished it. However, obviously I will be back again for another pepperoni pizza pie as it was indeed the best pizza I had in the area, and generally speaking, in a long time. I ordered a large pizza di Mare, a buffalo wing and Linguine Nerre Mare e Tera ( black Linquine with shrimp and broccoli rabe) and they are all very good. Took me awhile to return and I'm sorry it took this long. Their outdoor seating is very nice and relaxing. My dog Lily loves to sit with us and munch on her pizza crust. Service has always been really good. They are prompt with getting water at the table. They are byob and will bring out glasses and an ice bucket. Food is not the best Italian I have ever had. But for a casual pizza pasta place they do a good job. I went for dinner with friends . The meal was below average. So I left $10 tips on $79 meal on my card. We also left around $20 cash tips for the server. I guess they did not like my tip on credit card, they decided to change the SIGNED bill and added another $10 tips top of my $10 tips. When I realized the extra charge on my credit card statement, I called them. The answer was shocking they said they made a mistake and asked me to come and get $10 cash refund with the receipt. This review is more for their Magarita pizza pie, which was a thin crust perfectly balanced slice of Italian American goodness. I used to think Franks Shadyside in Edgewater was the best pizza around (still very good) until I came here. The pizza is so so so good. Easily the best in the area & surrounding. Also the salads are great. I highly recommend. The second time I went the pizza was not as fresh... I just recommend getting a fresh pie or slice and you will be all good to go read more
