Came here late on a Friday. Amazing pizza they're open late on the weekends until 3am. Support local businesses.

We ordered here bc it was my sisters birthday. Very simple plain pie and eggplant rollatini .you would think you can't mess this up right? Our pie was burnt . Barely any crust thin and completely inedible my dog won't even eat it. When I called the guy said he's just the one that picks up the phone and if I don't like it to just get it refunded on uber eats . They go under donna Gio's on uber eats which has 3 stars and amore . Very bland sauce on rollatini . I live right in edgewater and will never order again. Try Luigi's in Fairview or angelos wayyyy better .

The crust was soggy and didn't hold the veggie well...the pizza slices fell apart.

I have only tried their eggplant Parm hero (no cheese) and their vegan pizza ( no cheese). Eggplant Parm hero is delicious. I ask for extra sauce and it kicks it up a notch! Unfortunately, I will have to give them a thumbs down for their vegan pizza. I asked for extra sauce on it and no broccoli but the sauce tasted bland and the crust had a strange bitter aftertaste to it for some reason. The crust was also soggy and didn't hold the sauce and veggies well. It tasted like they used a different sauce than the pizza sauce they normally use... definitely different from the sauce they use for the eggplant Parm. In the future I will just stick with the eggplant Parm hero here and maybe one day I'll try their regular cheese pizza. :)

That being said, thought I give them another chance given all the slice places within a few blocks in this section of Morningside Heights. While a reasonably priced basic cheese slice, but not the cheapest, don't be fooled by their pizza's appearance. Although the crust was OK, the excess grease that slid off of my pizza was: 1) something no one should ingest and 2) required a bib to avoid staining clothes. Maybe Famiglia's "famous" recipe is for clientele are out-of-towners (and a few local bozos) who eat their slice with a knife and fork! My reco - If you're hungry for a classic New York slice and want the real local thing, go to "old school" Koronet immediately across the street!

The knots are very garlicky and come with a side of marinara. The salad is iceberg, grape tomatoes, and cucumbers. The pizza was my favorite part--a bit chewy, but still crisp, and lots of melty, delicious cheese and sauce. I wouldn't make a trip just to eat here, but if I was in the neighborhood again, I would happily eat here.

It is rare…read moreto find a spot that maintains such high standards over time, but they continue to exceed expectations. The pizzas are, quite simply, perfection. The crust is always "just right"- crispy, fresh, and consistently delicious. Beyond the food, I am so happy to note that the evening ambiance has evolved beautifully. The music is no longer as loud as it once was; it's now at a volume that allows for great conversation while still maintaining a vibrant energy. What really makes Fumo shine is the service and the attention to detail. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is nothing short of exceptional every single time. I also have to mention the personal touches that add so much character to the space - the real candles in crystal-like holders create a warm, elegant atmosphere that does not go unrecognized. The entire restaurant is always very clean and welcoming. If I had one small "wish list" item, it would be to see some tap beers added to the menu - I would absolutely love to enjoy a Peroni on draft with my meal! Thank you, Fumo, for years of wonderful meals and for being such a reliable and delicious place to enjoy some brick oven pizza.

My daughter ordered a lemon drop and OMG--it was so good. I had a Pinot Grigio and was happy they still had happy hour going. The kids had iced tea, and the staff was kind enough to make a raspberry lemonade for them, which they loved. I also really appreciate when restaurants notice kids and automatically bring cups with covers--small detail, but it makes a difference. For food, I ordered the rotativo bolognese--WOW. So much meat and packed with flavor. My mom had the burger and especially loved the truffle fries. The kids got spicy calamari with sauce (I don't usually like seafood, but it honestly looked amazing). The other adults had chicken penne alla vodka and chicken parm with penne, both enjoyed. The kids also ordered sausage and pepperoni pizza, and we accidentally ended up with a margarita pizza too--no complaints there! Service was elite--attentive, friendly, and made the birthday feel special. The place itself is nice and cozy, perfect for date night or family outings. We ended with cheesecake for the birthday girl, which was the perfect touch. I know they have other locations, and we'll definitely be checking those out too.

We had the unfortunate idea to grab some food here as we enjoyed some games (btw it's $15 a person to play indefinitely as long as they have space for your group). We ordered the burger, chicken sandwich, Cajun fries, hummus and pita and tater tots. For such a spacious location, they must have a play kitchen because most of the food was inedible. The "best" thing about my chicken sandwich (three tenders- was not even a patty) was the brioche bread. The "best" thing about the hummus was the pita. My friend took two bites of the burger and felt sick. We thought we had been pranked but felt sad about throwing so much food away. Just don't do it. I don't want to think about this food ever again. If you must, apparently the coffee was good and they have other drinks and pastries (which they hopefully outsource!).
