Bella Pizza 197 Boulevard Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604 Baby Arugula Salad Garlic Knots Pesto Chicken Panini Chipotle Ranch Wrap Chicken Vodka Parmesan I had one "hella" great time dining at Bella Pizza located on the corner of Boulevard and Hamilton Ave. This BYOB casual style restaurant serves a variety of Italian dishes ranging from pizza slices to sandwiches to full entrees. The best three toppings of the baby arrugula salad were the crunchy walnuts, juicy pear slices and bleu cheese crumbles. Although it also includes onions, the chopped vegetable wasn't necessary as the walnuts, pears, and bleu cheese dominated the greens!. This starter goes well with Creamy Italian or White Balsamic Dressing. Vampires, watch out for the soft, spongy garlic knots. They're so pure in flavor and scrumptious that only those nocturnal demons wouldn't enjoy them! Whether you choose your sandwich in the form of a wrap or panini, it's a win-win situation because you'll be satisfied either way. The hoagies are compact and very easy to hold. They were packed so well you won't have to worry about anything falling onto the table! All sandwiches come with a sour pickle and bag of potato chips. Feel free to go Bobby Flay style and crunchify your sammy! It has become my personal tradition to explore the chicken parmesan entree at any Italian restaurant I visit and this did not disappoint one bit! The three cutlets were thinly sliced giving it a crispy taste. The creamy vodka sauce was freshly made in-house. When you dine here, be prepared to indulge in plentiful portions that will make you feel like you are dining like The Sopranos! Solid pizza, but don't show up too, too early, like at opening, as it typically takes the restaurant about 1 hour for all of the typical pizzas (e.g. Margherita, White, Vodka, Grandma) to be done. On the 1st occasion that we came here, we dropped in at around 11:15am on a super cold, winter Sunday morning and had our pick of tables inside this surprisingly spacious pizzeria on Blvd in Hasbrouck Heights. The 2nd time we came here, it was really no different in spacing as there were some customers dining in, but still plenty of tables. When we arrived on our 1st visit, they were just churning out whole pies, but they were all of the gourmet type with chicken on them. All of the what I deem "regular" pizzas (e.g. Margherita, White, Vodka, Grandma) that you would typically find at a pizzeria were still in the process of being worked on. Because of the fact that we showed up so early, we either had to wait a bit to get a slice of what we usually ordered at pizzerias or we could go with the gourmet slices. Since we were absolutely starvvvvving and didn't want to wait another minute, we decided to order 1 of the gourmet slices with chicken, 1 Buffalo Chicken, 1 Pepperoni and 1 plain cheese. If we had our choice though, we probably would have ordered the Margherita and square Vodka because they looked DAMN GOOD, BUTTTT there's alwayssss next time. The slices we ordered were really good still - solid as in put together well and didn't have much flop. The plain cheese reminded me a lot of your everyday good ol' New York slice, not too thin, not too thick - and a crispy undercarriage. The Buffalo Chicken was also very, as I like to say a lot, "Buffalo-ish" where the Buffalo flavor really kicked in on each bite. My wife also ordered the Baby Arugula salad with grilled chicken. I had 1 piece of the grilled chicken, which was decent, but she loved the salad. It was a bit steep at $17 ($13 for the salad + $4 for the grilled chicken), but seemed like it was worth it in her opinion. We also ordered 1 rice ball, which was huge, but very good as well. All in all, Bella is a solid pizzeria in northern NJ. We loved that it was so spacious and had plenty of seats and tables when we arrived. The restaurant did start getting more and more customers as our meal wore on during our 1st visit, but there was still plenty of space. Definitely a solid pizzeria. Pizza won't blow you away, but you're bound to satisfy your pizza craving here.
Finally came back to try a pie and the pies are not as good as the individual slices. It seems that the pie crusts are thicker. We also tried some garlic knots and a vodka chicken parm. The garlic knots were a bit undercooked. The vodka parm was pretty good but $15 is kind of pricey for a pizzeria. I might come back from some individual slices but for pizza pies, I may stick to Corleone's.
Ordered Pizza and Salad tray from here for my Daughter's 1st birthday on NYE afternoon. I was expecting a long wait, but they completed our order quickly and had everything ready for pickup. Everyone loved the food!
A+ for using real mushrooms, not canned! Also tried their plain and buffalo chicken slices which were very good. Great size slices for a large pie, you'd be surprised how small other large pizzas are at other pizzerias... Zeppolis were ok, a bit thicccc for me and garlic knots were good too. Overall great pizza, ratio of sauce to cheese is good and delivered hot.
When I say THE BEST BUFFALO CHICKEN PIZZA I've ever had, I mean.... The best. What a way to start a review. The Buffalo Chicken pizza steals the show. Perfect in every way. Sauce isn't over powering, crust was crispy, you can get blue cheese or ranch dressing on top and they nailed it right down to celery pieces on top. We also got a drunk grandma pie which was excellent. Sauce was extremely tasty and the crust was perfect. Hint of butter on that crust?? I believe so! Phenomenal. Now, they have.. a Mac n cheese calzone. Yes. Homemade Mac n cheese, mozzarella cheese in a perfectly crispy shell. Our waitress warned me it was cheesy and yes it was. For the apps, we got wings for the kids and pizza fries. Both were very good. Service on point, street parking and everything was very clean. Take my word, if you're in the area and like Buffalo Chicken pizza, you gotta try this place out. 5 stars all day long.
Good was impressive impeccable and came out super fast. Service was so amazing everyone was so happy and on point. 10/10 definitely recommend

Bella pizza is my new go-to! Absolutely delicious food, extensive menu and a friendly staff. What more could a girl ask for? I placed an order for pick up and it was a breeze. The pizza itself was delicious, the sauce was tasty, great amount of cheese and crispy crust. The chicken tenders and wings were great too. Typical pizza fare. Their specialty slices are fantastic. I really enjoyed the buffalo chicken slice. The disco fries stole the show! I usually have to ask for extra cheese and gravy but these guys read my mind. Yummmm! Definitely check this place out for a good cheat day, they have such fun pizzas and even French fry toppings. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
Great tasting pizza and wings. Ordered via Uber eats, so not sure about the pricing. The wings were meaty and they loaded up on the pepperoni. Don't know if I got lucky, but overall it was a very satisfying meal.
Newly renovated, spacious casual pizza place that is byob. If I lived in the area, would be here more often. It's a pizza place/casual dining. People were doing both. We sat and had dinner with a red in tow. Service was great and friendly. Food was very good and prices extremely reasonable. We got a seafood fra diavolo for $17. The portion was large and it was really good. The restaurant has that modern sleek look and it's kept very clean. Looking forward to our next visit.
Whenever I'm back in town to visit family. I always order from Bella. There food has always been the best and consistent since they've opened up. Always a big fan of the burgers and quesadillas here. Make sure you try the penne vodka pizza too , it's the best.

In town for business. Happened upon this place. Absolutely fantastic. Pizza was typical NJ pizza and delicious. Cheese garlic bread was on another level, best I've ever had. Wait staff was informative and very friendly. Couldn't recommend more. read more

I like the pizza here but everything else is either hit or completely miss. I order fried calamari, if they aren't into making and serving calamari I wish they would take it off the menu. Absolutely abhorrently gross. Why the plastic container, why is that texture, why is the oil so old, why is there a bed of lettuce in there......there's too many questions, it's just not worth the risk really. I received it and immediately put $15 in the trash. I'd say it was about $.75 per calamari ring so they owe me $14.25, the rest legit is in my trash can. Definitely a great local spot! With all the pizza spots around the area it can be overwhelming to find the right one for you. I decided to give this place a try on a Friday night to celebrate my brothers graduation and was not disappointed! We ordered a garlic knot crust pizza which was a amazing. It came with two sides of marinara sauce to dip your garlic knots in it (which is a total must!) additionally, we ordered a whole bunch of appetizers. The wings were big and worth the price. The tomato, fresh mozzarella, and basil platter was very fresh and tasted great! On another note their menu is extensive. It can be overwhelming because there is a lot to choose from but I like that. A little something for everyone. Everything we ordered was good and I definitely plan to order again. Overall, I highly recommend! read more

Got the grilled chicken salad and my gf got chicken cutlet lettuce and mayo on a sub, BOTH were so fresh and delicious. The grilled chicken was most importantly FRESH, juicy and seasoned nicely, mozz was delish, and all veggies fresh. The sandwich was packed. Please keep it up bella pizza! Came here with the fam today for lunch. We all had individual slices from the counter and tortellini soup and pasta fagioli. The service was very friendly and the place was so clean. Everything was delicious, and it was really some of the best soup we have had! I make it a point to try out everyone's pasta fagioli, and this was truly the best I have had. Full of delicious flavor! I highly recommend coming here for some great pizza! read more

Ordered a chicken Parm and a few bites in I discover a Corona bottle cap in my sandwich. How? Being that it was only a block away I took it back and the guy at the counter laughed. When I asked what was funny he said it wasn't funny with a smile on his face. He then took the food and threw it away, told me to call door dash and that I could get the F out now! There were several threats to fight me and I just decided to leave bc I didn't wanna go to jail. read more
Totally one of my favorite takeout places right now! They are quick, delicious, and consistent. I am obsessed with the Baby Arugala salad, it is always light & fresh with the perfect amounts of blue cheese and candied walnuts. In addition, I love that they give the dressing on the side so the arugala doesn't get soggy or over-dressed. The poached pears are soo good, and I always add the grilled chicken. I can be picky about grilled chicken, but theirs is always thin, chopped, & perfectly grilled. The bruschetta appetizer is also wonderful, and great to share. It is fresh and flavorful, served on toasted bread. My fiancè really enjoyed his buffalo chicken wrap as well! Can't wait to try more items on their menu! read more

As soon as you walk into this family owned business, you see such a bright and welcoming atmosphere. It seems like a really nice spot to grab a slice and just hangout with friends or a little date night. You're greeted with such kindness by the owners. The wonderful aroma of pizzas is soooo amazing. I saw this place on Instagram and ended up liking probably 10 pictures before telling my family that we need to have a pizza party haha I ordered their amazing garlic knot crust on a half Philly cheesesteak and half pineapple pizza because that's just what my pregnancy cravings told me I needed! We also ordered a half white and half mushroom pie. The garlic knots were so delicious and perfectly chewy. The cheesesteak was probably my favorite slice! So delicious and flavorful. In the future I'm definitely going to order their cheesesteak sandwich. Everything was really tasty! My whole family truly enjoyed it! I will definitely be coming back again.
