Ordered a pizza Saturday evening. All pepperoni and add peppers half. Stated 3x or 4x very well done and leave in longer to get crispy. Pizza came to house, you couldn't even pick it up like a regular slice it fell down with no body to it just flimsy dough. When I go there I always have to tell the guy 3 and 4x put my slice back to get well done its like a hassle for him to do. Listen to the customer. read more

I placed a delivery order at 5:40 PM and didn't receive it until 7:06 PM. The pizza arrived cold, and the zeppolies were cold, hard on the outside, and chewy on the inside. When I called the restaurant, the driver admitted that the XL pizza didn't fit in the pizza bag. She offered to resend the entire order, and I agreed--because who throws away $50? I later called back and spoke with someone who said the new order would arrive by 10 PM, but they hung up on me. It's now 10:07 PM, the store is closed, and no replacement ever arrived. This was a horrible experience with terrible customer service. I feel like I was robbed. I will never trust them with my food or my money again. read more

I could be wrong but I think new ownership took over a few years back. My wife and I use to go for a BYOB dinner( still in effect) but the food was much better. They seem to be doing too much. They now have a Cuban takeout menu along with hot & cold sandwiches plus wraps plus Italian dishes plus of course pizza plus the small sit down section to dine. I ordered my second Margarita pie which tasted totally different than 3 months ago. Thicker, chewy and tasted almost as if the pie had been prepared in advance and then reheated with the toppings. At 23 dollars a pie(which I know is the going rate) it's time for me to try another place.? read more

Very friendly staff and service here. Ordered for pickup with easy parking in the rear lot. Makes a big difference when you think about delivery vs pickup these days. For a large pie half mushroom half pepperoni, it basically came out to $20 flat which isn't bad for this area and size of pizza. I really like the crust of the pizza overall, very crisp and and not a lot of flop as Portnoy would say. I was kind of bummed to get canned mushrooms though because I've seen other reviews where they used real mushrooms. For me that's what brings this down a star because overall the pizza is pretty good. Just could use a little more sauce for my liking so if you like less saucey pizza, give this place a try. $20 for a half half large is a great deal, so I'll prob give this place a try again another day. read more

Searched Google for Presto's Pizza; found their listing in Google Business, which included a button linking to their website. Clicked through to their website at pestospizzamenu.com (which spells "presto" as "pesto"), which offers online ordering through a button on the home page to "START ORDER". Placed an order, but there was a 10+ minute delay in confirming the order, so I phoned them. The man who answered the phone informed me that they did NOT have our order, because they use Slice and was asking me whether I placed the order through Slice. I told him I did it through the website at the above URL; he denied that it was their website. He said that the online ordering was handled through Slice (even though they are holding themselves out as having the linked website as theirs), and that they weren't receiving orders because their (Presto's) tablets were broken so no orders were coming through from Slice. He told me that I needed to call Slice. I asked for their phone number; he told me that he didn't have it, for ME to look it up and call them. No offer of customer service to reach out to Slice to confirm my order, so that they could then prepare and deliver the order. He couldn't even be bothered giving me Slice's number. So in short, they were happy to take my $73+ for an order that would never be communicated through to them by Slice, and which I would never receive. (All the while, there was a lot of static in the phone connection, which made me wonder if he was in a car somewhere.) I don't know who the individual was that I spoke with, but he liked to refer to me as "boss" throughout the conversation. I Googled the number for Slice, spoke with a customer service rep, who promised me a refund. Never again. Any owner of manager with any consideration for the customers who put food on their own table - or just plain smart business sense - would have done everything in his power to correct the situation. But I guess the concept of customer service is foreign to this establishment. No offer of any kind of comp, just a "well, it's not my fault, and it's not my problem - you can go call Slice, and oh, go and Google their number because I don't have it for you." We came by for lunch after a long day of prepping for an upcoming vacation. After searching online for an open restaurant because of Labor Day holiday-many we're closed-- we came across Prestos Pizza. The staff was so attentive and greeted us right away and answered our questions thoroughly about their ingredients used in pizza. They made us feel welcome and we're very courteous. So a little about the food--we ordered a large pie with half cheese and the other half with fresh mushrooms (special request). Everything about this pizza was mouthwatering! The crust was golden crisp the sauce was amazingly fresh and had a perfect balance of flavor between the tomato and basil. The cheese was perfectly melted and the fresh mushrooms were perfection! As we left I saw the garlic knots that were displayed they looked like they too were full bodied flavor of garlic and herbs! The ambiance was as follows- Two separate dining areas one was more of a pizza quick serve and the other was nicer dining room with cloth napkins etc--we sat in the latter because it was cooler (temperature) than the previous rooms. read more

I was buying a car from Jeep Paramus and needed to kill an hour so I looked up pizzerias around the area and found this place. I'm so glad we did because the food was delicious!! We got a BBQ chicken slice, chicken Caesar wrap and the grilled chicken wrap & everything was amazing. I totally recommend this place !! read more

More like 2.5 stars but I will round up because the owner is very nice and hands on. New renovations to the dining room brings a warm ambiance. Servers and owner are hospitable and food is okay. BYOB is always a plus. What they lack is communication and knowledgeable servers. If Presto's can work on these two things, they will become a local go to casual Italian restaurant good for any occasion. On a Saturday night, 4 out of the 8 tables in the main back dining room had at least one wrong dish served to their table (including ours unfortunately). This is very costly to the restaurant and just leaves a bad taste to diners when one person is left out while everyone else at the table is enjoying their food. They have been back to business for about 8 months. I will give them the year to make a return visit before writing them off my list. Keeping my fingers crossed! read more

Went to Alementary Brewery down the block for a beer, called and asked if they do slices they said yes, and ordered 4 for pickup, when I went to pick it up 5 minutes tops, they had 4 pies waiting, I doubt they were that quick, I said I ordered slices instead. They said I ordered pies, I said I didn't, asked if they can cut them up and they say no, I said you have one plain pie there, give me 4 slices add mushrooms to two of them and said they we don't do that. Customer service is unprofessional. Make sure you check your order before you leave if you request anything because this was my 2nd time getting the wrong order and zero apologies from them and no effort to make it right. I called the place an order for a sandwich and I asked the lady 3 different time to make sure there was no dressings or sauces on it. She said ok. I pick up my order before I drive 45 minutes to go kayaking expecting to have a nice sandwich before I head on the water and I open the sandwich and its covered in mayonnaise. I called back and asked for a refund since I was no where near the place at the time and I hear them going back and forth on the phone saying I can't get a refund. If I want to get something else another time I can and 'ask for Karina or Miguel' Luckily I don't live far so on my 45 min way back home from being in the heat all day with no food after kayaking for hours, I call back to ask if I can pick up the same sandwich I requested earlier and if It would be possible to maybe get a drink also for the inconvenience. Karina says no I can only get what I paid for earlier and kept saying no even after I asked again nicely since it was the least they could do. I come in to pick up my order, Karina doesn't even say hi, hands me the bag and asks for my phone number which I'm not sure why, and then that was it. She never apologized for the inconvenience, never said anything didn't even THANK me. Because I'm a nice person I said thank you when I left and that was it. Even answering the phone when calling she sounds like she doesn't even want to be there and you're inconveniencing her. As a business owner myself, this is completely unprofessional and a small gesture like giving someone a drink after you know you messed up their order and they went without eating all day because of their mistake is totally rude. on top of not even apologizing or trying to make anything better, it seemed like when I called back it was a big deal that I was upset about my food and asked for my money back. As a business, customer service is everything. Last time my husband and I ordered he asked for no bacon on his pasta, came home and there was bacon, we went all the way back and they skimped out on half the dish I guess because they were mad they had to make it again, again because of THEIR mistake. This used to be my go-to place but after it got sold to someone else it looks like the quality of everything is not the best anymore. I grabbed another slice and noticed two more black hairs.. I called and the man on the phone said "are you sure, it may be burnt cheese... I pulled them out my self. I usually never have a problem ordering from here but after today i will not. They refunded me for just for pizza at the end of our convo. Hopefully no one else will find hair in their food. This place is absolutley wonderful. The BYOB option made this place really appealing and I never realized how much pizza could be considered fine dining. The pizza was amazing. We had the pizza as an appetizer, but later on we had the main course. For the main course my brother had 1/2 LB Lobster with mussels, calamari, and fridiablo sauce while j had the skirt steak. These were their specials. I just started coming here last week and I have to say their options are really good at fair prices. They just released their desert menu too and i recommend you try the lava cake. The manager, Frank was very kind and he approached us and asked us how our experience was. ZERO STARS IF I COULD I don't usually write reviews, but Thats how mad i am about this incident. My family & I have been customers for at least 10+ years because its a good local pizza place thats near us. And now as I call to order (This just happened 15 minutes ago) I called to order my usual order t Presto special pie or supreme pie. I always ask them to add broccoli to the pie & they've always add it with no charge for these 10+ years of ordering. Now, the "so called manager", that I have never spoke with before, tells me he has to charge me after i explained to him not once in all these years have they charged me or ever told me about a charge for it. He said no thats how its always been. How in all these years, ordering from different employees have they never charged me for it then. And I said ok so your going to complain with me about $2? The 2nd to last time i ordered the pie they charged me the normal price $24.95, I ended up finding a hair on 1 of the slices, called back & we get a credit, which I accepted as the right compensation. I ask him to ask the manager Cesar who credited me that $20 credit for the pie & he doesn't acknowledge it & says he is a delivery driver. If that were true, then how would we have received the credit and we used it on our last order of the same Presto Special pie with broccoli & no charge. The guy on the phone still did not acknowledge it & I said know the owner Celine because we always buy there & he still continued to deny it. He then continued to argue with me about the price & yell back at me on the phone. After back & forth yelling I told him I can't believe you're yelling at a customer for $2. And i said i'm done wasting my time & hung up. Clearly I wasted some time writing this but I hope I actually didn't & keep customers aware of this rude behavior from a "so called manager" that I have not spoken to before. To treat a long-time regular in this manner is just unprofessional & unacceptable behavior for a manager. If he really is a manager then he is unfit to be a manager in the restaurant business where the most important part is THE CUSTOMER. I'm very dissatisfied & never ordering from here again. Once the restaurant regulations are normal again after this Covid era, I definitely will go back in-person to complain about this again. read more
