I was really looking forward to a turkey burger. But they were out on the day i went. So I had to pivot to another item. With so many options on the menu, I was getting hungry real quick. I ended up getting the chicken parm with vodka sauce sandwich. I thought I was getting a side of fries but it turned out to be an entire order. So I definitely had sticker shock once they told me the cost. But the place looked cool with mob vibes, a big screen TV playing Latin hits and a picture gallery filled with past accomplishments. Finally the food came. The sandwich size was pretty big but the grilled chicken was burnt. It overpowered any sauce taste. So it totally lost all its hype. I was hoping the other side was different but it was not. The fries were good and the portion size was generous too. I'm not sure if I want to return to give the other sandwiches a shot or the pizzas since they looked good. read more

Very friendly and attentive staff, as we were greeted immediately and offered a menu to look at. Lots of food on this menu so we took a few minutes lol. Ordered a special in which we got a mushroom pizza, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings and a 2 liter soda. They were out of the sodas so we got a few cans of soda instead. We ordered to go and ate at home, though they have plenty of tables inside. Overall the food was good and definitely enjoyed the smorgasbord of food we just got. Pizza had fresh mushrooms which I appreciated and lots of cheese. I could use more sauce though as we like our pizzas saucy. Mozz and chicken wings were good, but we should have eaten them right away as you expect those to cool down quickly. I'd want to try a burger next time, so I'll be back. read more

Grabbed the combo to go from Mob Pizza in Hackensack -- large one-topping pizza (we picked mushrooms), wings, mozzarella sticks, and a 2-liter soda. Great deal for the price and perfect for a chill night in. The pizza was solid overall, definitely on the cheese-heavy side. We were hoping for a bit more sauce to balance things out, but the flavor was still there and the crust had a good crunch. Wings were nicely cooked and the mozzarella sticks were exactly what you want -- crispy on the outside, gooey inside. Got to chat with the owner -- super friendly guy. He mentioned he used to run another mob-themed pizza place in Wood-Ridge. You can tell he's passionate about what he does and it shows in the branding and hospitality. I was there on a Friday night. The shop wasn't busy, but seemed like they were fulfilling a lot of online orders. The burgers here are insaneeee and the pizzas sound equally outrageous (in a good way). Just imagine general tsos chicken pizza and a donut burger- maybe walking heart attack to some or a work of creative genius. Whoever designed their menu is definitely working overtime. Although the word pizzeria proceeds burgers in their name, I think the burgers are really the star of the show.In addition to the usual favorites, they have "stuffed" burgers which have really creative toppings. My fiancé and I ordered from here a few weeks ago. He ordered the good ol jersey burger which was essentially a breakfast burger and the Mob fries and I had the American Gangster which had a Turkey patty and guac. We've stopped in 2x, and 2x we were greeted by Waldy and Sandra. Siblings who own the place. Very friendly and helpful. Explained that they can customize the burgers or pizzas to our liking if we don't see something we like on the menu. :) Our 1st time hubby got the Meat Lover, and I got the American Gangster Burger, but they didn't have Turkey Burger, so I got the chicken instead. The pizza was delicious, I even ate the crust, and I usually don't, lol. The chicken was nice and crispy, but I don't think it worked with the rest of the gangster burger... will have to try it again with the turkey burger. 2x time hubby ordered the same Meat Lover but added Anchovies. It actually made the pizza better, lol. I got the Chicken Marsala, which was delicious!!! Big plate, too! Fried Oreos were amazing! The 1st location is in Wood-Ridge. Average at best. Got the drunken parm sandwich and bread was burnt. Still gave it benefit of the doubt and everything within the sandwich was dry and tasted stale. Italian sub had provolone that was sliced way too thick and they didn't include onions which I've never experienced with an Italian sub. Spaghetti and meatballs were barely decent. Meatballs were super dry and salty, and the pasta was over cooked... breaking the second you tried to twirl your fork. Bear in mind, the delivery wasn't much longer after the food was cooked. Another great burger; but not that much melted cheese pouring out of the center ( like a Juicy Lucy..Google it). It needs that. --Smoked White Pizza Ricotta & smoked mozzarella topped with artichoke, black olives & Applewood smoked bacon...... So it was good. IDK what is was missing. the Mozz needed to be smokier maybe. All I really tasted after each bite was bacon. Looks like a couple of wise guys have expanded their territory. They must have a big crew because each of them got a burger named after them, Capo Burger, "Aloha" Johnny, Goobah, Tony S., and the Boss, and let's not forget Jr. Burger he is up and coming. They're using what else but Pizza as their cover, Sicilian, Vodka, and Grandma Millie's too. and don't be fooled by the hot dogs here Don and Vig Dogs are killers. And in case some nosy Feds come by they are ready to do a hit from the kitchen with the meatballs, pasta, mac & cheese, and crunchy garlic bread so that the mikes don't pick up anything on the crew's next move. Update! I finally tried their burger and it was SO good! Perfectly medium rare like I ordered, delicious soft seeded roll, and fries that were the perfect blend of crispy on the outside and soft inside. I wasn't sure what their special MOB sauce was so I got that on the side, and it was delicious; so great for dipping fries! read more

Regular cheeseburgers were correctly cooked to requested medium rare, their specialty burger was dressed as requested and cooked perfectly. The shrimp quesadilla was well made, tasty and accompanied by an excellent homemade pico de gallo! Ordering was a snap and delivery was as they predicted. We read about this place and decided to give it a go. Glad we did. Easy to find on the Main Street 'Strip' in Hackensack, decent street parking. Inside...very austere...very grey -- a vibe they were going for with pics and posters of popular gangster movies, and the requisite Scarface poster -- an homage to the worst accent in the history of mobster flicks thanks to Al Pacino lol. The lady behind the counter is very sweet, we think she's an owner. Took our order: 2 slices plain pie, one Goodfellas Burger, one Mob Burger, side of fries, and a vanilla shake. The pizza came out first and it was a very good, crispy slice. Sauce nice, cheese, good, the all important crust was tasty. So far, so good. The kitchen brought out our burgers on these little black plastic cutting boards. Nice touch, nice add to the decor. My Mob Burger is the simple cheese with lettuce and tomato and pickle. I judge all future orders on my first simple burger. If they can do that right, I will be back. They nailed it AND the temp -- I will never eat a burger more done than Rare. Not Raw. Rare. The chef did a good job. My husband's Goodfella Burger had melted provie, shaved ribeye, sauteed peppers and onions -- he asked for med rare and got it. We eat our burgers upside down, finding the top of the roll always has more room for juicy and this served us well. The burgers are delightful. Let's talk fries. We start with plain fries, much like when I first order a burger at a new place. If the fries are fab with NO toppings, that's a perfect start. These were tossed, we think in some flour or cornstarch, adding to their incredible crunch. Moist and steamy in the center, Noisily crunchy on the outside, I didn't even use ketchup or their special Mob Sauce, which we think is mayo and bbq, but who cares, it's really good. That Vanilla Shake topped everything off perfectly. I almost sucked my lungs thru the straw it was that thick, but damn was it good. We will be back. Go. It was too quiet in there on a Friday night. After drooling over the pictures, I decided to pull the trigger. Went to the website to place a scheduled order for pickup at 6:45pm. Got a call at 6:30pm from this place to tell me the order is ready . Great, now my food is gonna be cold. Oh well. I arrived 6:45pm and walked in and was expecting an Italian goombah vibe with ready made pizzas on the counter. But the counter was empty and the restaurant was somewhat empty. There was a family gathering at the back and as soon as I walked in, a man breaks away from the family and approaches to help me. Now this was not your average Italian family having a meal with plenty of food but a middle eastern family and a middle eastern man hands me a plastic bag with my food in it and my name written on the bag with a black sharpie. No receipt, no tag just my first name written on it. I got home and the food is not remotely close to the pictures. I get it, it never looks like it but let me tell you. I ordered the goombah stuffed burger and it was hardly stuffed. The mushrooms and onions were loosely topped with very little cheese. I also ordered the Vig dog was described as wrapped with Taylor ham, fried egg and cheese. What I got was a dog with a scrambled egg topping mixed with tiny diced meat and no cheese. The only thing that wasn't messed up were the sweet potato fries. I'm thinking how the hell can this happen and I came to a conclusion. I think the restaurant owner didn't pay rent, got evicted so the landlord took over and operated the business as he saw fit to recoup some money. That's how I saw it. This place is BANGING! There lobster Mac and cheese is Literally compared to what I got at Quincy market in Boston and if your not aware that is where you get REAL main lobster with awsome Mac and cheese and what they got here is VERY close is not identical to that. Also the cost is 1:1 so why drive up there when I can get full lobster claws in my Mac and cheese. Mob Burger was on point. There mozzarella sticks are homemade and really good. read more

The woman that worked here tonight should not have a job anywhere with customer service. I placed an order on the Too Good To Go app for pickup between 9-9:45pm. I arrived at 9:15pm, there were people eating inside the restaurant and an employee standing by the door at the counter. The door was locked so I stood there and the employee turned her back on me. Also, it was POURING RAIN outside. My friend beeps from the car to get this workers attention. She turns around and rudely signals "we're closed". I show her my phone which says we have an order. She angrily waves over another worker to come to the door. He comes and opens and finally let me in. This woman had a disgusting attitude and was slamming the pizza into the bag. She was extremely rude and disgusting. Do not take part in the App if you're going to have customers pay for an order and then not let them into the store that is OPEN UNTIL 10pm.
