This is one of those places that is so good you almost don't want to give them a good review because you don't want too many other people to go and make it hard to get a table. Really cute little place with great service and amazing food. We had two antpastis, a caprese and an eggplant dish, two pastas, and a pizza, and everything was amazing. The lava cake for dessert was amazing as well. We had a few espressos and a cappuccino and they made the most amazing face drawing in the cappuccino foam. We don't live in the area but we'll definitely be back. read more

The sweetest staff with the best pizzas! Came here with a friend for a Sunday night dinner and it was busy, but they were able to seat us. The space itself is small, maybe only fits 20 people inside and 10 outside in their covered patio. Food wise, tried the Affumicata pizza which was incredible! Spicy sausage and smoked mozz is a match made in heaven. The crust is also so good, a tad chewy which I personally love. Also started with the bufala caprese which was delish, but the pizza is really the star of the show. Staff is also so so sweet! Truly the kindest people and make you feel so welcome. read more

Bosino - The incredible Affumicata Large - Pizza Near Me - New York, New York

Absolute best pizza in New York and the service is even better. The affunicata is my personal favorite pizza, but I've recently discovered they also have superb soups--most notably the carrot soup. As good as the food is, the staff will win you over with their top-notch service. Great ambiance. read more

What a great find ! Great food . Everything we ordered was perfect . Pizza , Ravioli , Salad and dessert was perfect . Such a pleasant atmosphere made me feel like I was in Italy. The surface was fantastic.' the owner was very friendly.. I cannot recommend this place high enough. read more

I had their pizza, which was great, but I guarantee you their Italian food was even better. Every single time I passed this place it was packed. They're small and intimate, with some sidewalk seating. read more

Bosino is very warm and charming. It's a small local spot that offers a nice selection of flavors. To start, we also split the light and refreshing insalata bosino. As our main, we split the tasty margherita and boscaiola (without blue cheese) pizzas. For dessert, we enjoyed the tiramisu. All of the above were delicious; although, I'd love to try other items from their tempting selection. We also very much enjoyed their house red wince, which was a smooth and satisfying Primitivo. read more

A warm inviting atmosphere. Italian charm. Excellent wine. Excellent prosciutto pizza that isn't rubbery.. Delicious pesto pasta that isn't just one note. Cannoli that are cold and creamy with a crunch. read more

We had a great experience! Amazing food with even better staff. Meeting up with some friends who live nearby, this is an awesome neighborhood spot. I was running a little late, so I had them order me the Quattro formaggi e salamino pizza that came with four cheeses and pepperoni. I was between that one and the tartufata. I made a great choice, but I don't think you can go wrong here. The pizza was awesome. I wish I would've gotten there sooner because they all split several appetizers that look like they would've been great. The atmosphere is very cozy and intimate, and the staff is so nice and so engaged in ensuring you have a great meal. Check this place out! read more

Had a wonderful dining experience at Bosino! The staff was very friendly during the whole experience and the small, but homey feel of the restaurant's interior gives Bosino an intimate vibe. The food was also fantastic--my fiancée and I split a pizza and pasta and felt like it was pretty perfect portions-wise. I'd love to go back and try different items on the menu, because it seems like you can't go wrong with either pastas or pizzas. read more

Wine and dessert type of vibe. Honestly one of the most refreshing outings I've had the place is so lively for 1 hour before close in a mom and pop Italian restaurant. The house wine was perfect and not too acidic which was great for my taste but it depends on your personal palette. Everyone was so nice and kind and we walked in with no reservation and they were still able to accommodate us. Dessert was so delicious we had the chocolate lava cake in house and took the nutellita to go. 1000% recommend. read more

can't speak on the dine in experience but i will say that i won't ever step foot inside. ordered delivery from them, their lasagna tastes like chef boyardee on a good day, and the focaccia was hard as a rock. my senile nonna could do better than that, and this cost me 40 dollars. ridiculous! read more

Great quality food, homey atmosphere, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Will return again, neighborhood gem

I just came to eat here with my family and had a blast. Their pizza is solid, the place clean and chill, the service welcoming and reasonably fast. Salvatore does everything you can to make you feel as you were at home. To the contrary of what Yelp reports, the restaurant opens at 12p, not 11:30a. There are a few tables inside as well as outside. The place is not big, so come early (or at low-peak hours) to make sure to find a spot. We ordered a Margherita (regular) and an Affumicata (large). They were more than enough for me, my wife and our toddler. Fresh ingredients and perfectly baked dough do a great job. The crust is yummy as well. The bottom was slightly burned, but it didn't alter the flavor at all. Both pizzas were legit. Next time I want to try other dishes, too, because I saw a few passing by and they looked really good. Highly recommended. read more

We came here by accident and it was serendipity. I saw this place but knew nothing about it. It was rainy and cold and immediately as soon as we walked in it exuded a feeling of being warm and cozy and intimate. The staff was very attentive and sincere. No attitude here at all. The vegetable puréed soup was perfect and the spinach fettuccine and tortellini in cream sauce were very good as well as the house red wine. We enjoyed the fresh tiramisu and cannoli. The owner or manager, I'm not sure was incredibly kind from Sicily. We are so glad to find this hidden gem in our hood and we will be going there again definitely! read more

We visited Bosino last night after hearing good things about it. We choose the Margherita pizza, Sorrento gnocchi, and Nutella (pretty expensive). We appreciated that our server was knowledgeable about the cuisine. We had great expectations because it was also claimed that their gnocci was well-liked, but I must admit that I was a little let down. On the menu, the inventive flavor combinations seemed fantastic, but the actual taste was a little underwhelming. We tried to pick up the pizza, but the core wasn't very sturdy because it was wet. Although the ambiance was nice, the food ws not that great, also they are expensive. read more

We have walked past this restaurant so many times and every time said to ourselves, "we should go here!". Well, we finally did and are thrilled to have it in our neighborhood. It's a cozy little restaurant with laid back vibes and friendly staff. We ordered a (reasonably priced) bottle of red wine and two regular pizzas to split. The bosino pizza came with pistachios, pesto, and ricotta- such a tasty combination! We also had the boscaiola with sausage, mushrooms, marinara sauce, and gorgonzola. I loved the addition of the gorgonzola on this pizza. Both pizzas had amazing crusts. We loved, loved, loved our meal and will be back soon. read more

Have you ever woken up and thought "today is going be a great day?" Well ordering food from this place is the perfect way to ruin that. I ordered food for $50 (pizza, pasta, cake). The amount of food I got wouldn't be enough for one of the rats that run around New York at night. I don't know how they expect this food to be filling to anyone. My only guess is that coronavirus ate the other half of the food I was supposed to get. This place earns my Smallest Cake Award. Paid $10 for a "cake" that's too small to see without a large magnifying glass. I could've gone to Mohammed at the corner bodega and fed a small army with this money. I'm beyond pissed. read more

Bosino - Chocolate Lava "cake" - $10. Looks like a cupcake that had its top bitten off by a dog. - Pizza Near Me - New York, New York

I stumbled on this cute and intimate spot while walking to the subway from my hostel. The people running this establishment are all really nice. I ordered the four cheese pizza with salami, and it arrived promptly. The pizza base had the best texture. Just the right amount of soft chewiness on the inside. And the crust was lightly brittle and crumbly. It was a joy sinking my teeth into the crust. However, there is not a lot of other positive things about the pizza. There was a touch too much salt in the dough. The pizza was burnt underneath in far too many spots, and the rims of the salami were also burnt hard. And the toppings were concentrated in the center by a wide margin. Distributing the toppings evenly throughout the pizza almost never happens, but I feel for a pizza at this price point, it's necessary. The blend of cheeses taste good when I'm able to taste them. I like that they've left out blue cheese because that would probably have clashed with the salami. But the parmigiano was completely absent. It looked like the pizza only got a faint dusting of parmigiano, and missed the distinct smell and taste of it. My last little gripe is that I didn't get the complementary bread and butter. I probably wouldn't have consumed it anyway because I wasn't very hungry. But it's something that just shouldn't be done, leaving your customer without the bread and butter while giving it to subsequent customers. Perhaps it's because I showed up 10 minutes before the restaurant actually opened for business. Lot's of potential in this place. I'll probably be checking them out again in a couple days. Hope to have a better experience! read more

I was introduced to Bosino on Monday and returned on Friday for the eggplant parmigiana which is crazy delicious. I shy away from this dish as it's usually dry, smothered in cheese and tough. This was juicy with a slight crunch to it and the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. So damn good. Then...we ordered a cappuccino and they drew my friend's cat in it at the table from a photo on her phone. I've never seen anything like it. Such a great evening - fun, great food, superb service, unique and tasty. I love New York. read more
