Korean bakery @ Fort Lee, NJ It is convenient to have a large parking space and variety of Korean restaurants nearby walking distance. The curry croquette tasted good with a lot of fillings and kept hot in a temperature controlled oven. The twisted sugar covered donut and soborro bread were fresh. Cute interior, lots of free parking in the shared lot- make sure to arrive before rush hour to guarantee parking! Similarly to a Paris Baguette, with self serve, and paying up front. This store has more Korean specific pastries which I liked! Good coffee and drink options too. Ty for reading (´--`) read more

This place is kind of crazy, like they have SO much here! Freshly made cakes, macarons, breads, pastries, cookies, boba, coffee, shaved ice, dippin dots ice cream lmao. Probably easier to list what they don't serve. Their incredibly expansive menu is super impressive. I popped by towards the end of the day with my friend after a dinner in the area, and there was still ample supply of a lot of their products. I noticed these super cute character cookies in the form of a pig and bear, and I bought a lot of these to share with my colleagues. I tried one of the piggy cookies before handing them out, it was nice and soft and buttery. People loved how cute the cookies looked! I would definitely come back often if I was more local to Fort Lee to try more of their offerings. read more

We came for coffee and cakes after having lunch next door. Nice spot to have coffee after a hot and spicy meal. We picked out some assorted cakes. I like these places where you get to pick using thongs and plates, and some coffees. Service is alright, nothing outstanding. We also got a small cake to take home, which was good. The eating area is clean. They have good cakes, and choices but not so much pastries. Bathroom needs some serious cleaning. read more

Did not try anything here yet but thought it would be worth letting people know they do offer gluten free items. However there is always chance for cross contamination bc I don't think they have a space dedicated to GF. And most things still contain dairy. But still, options! Just double check with the workers. read more

Stopped in for a quick pick me up. It was quite late in the evening around 7:30pm so I assume the selection was less than usual. I'm gluten intolerant, so I'm happy to report that they had a gluten friendly treat: autumn cake. It was made of almond and hazelnut flour; shaped like a leaf. It was perfectly sweetened with honey and had a moist cake texture. I just wished I had ordered a latte to go with it because it was a simple yet delicious snack. Price was on the higher side at $3.95 but expected for a nice bakery and for a gluten friendly option. Other gluten friendly options were an Asian swiss roll (made of rice flour) and a large variety of macarons (made with almond flour). Interior has a good amount of seating and seems pretty clean. If you're in the area looking for a cute hangout spot or a place to work remote, I'd recommend Blue Angel! read more

It's been a while since coming here, and I'm super impressed. I for the passion fruit bubble tea and it's really good. It's sweet with a little tart to it. And the savory pastries are delicious. I recommend the coquette (original) and the sausage and tomato one (I think) was super flavorful. The service was quick, but it can get super busy. The store was large, high ceilings and a lot of seating. read more

Blue Angel - Loved the mango mousse. And the twist bread. - Bakeries Near Me - Fort Lee, New Jersey

This cafe bakery sits nestled between BCD Tofu House, Sa Rit Gol, and an AYCE Shabu House, so it's bound to be lively. When we entered, there were many pre-packaged Korean baked goods, along with whole cakes for any occasion and slices if you don't need a full cake. They also offer bubble tea, but unfortunately, they were out of tapioca pearls the night we visited, much to my husband chagrin. We browsed for a while and ended up ordering a slice of blueberry cake and a slice of green tea cake. Unfortunately, the cakes weren't quite to our taste. The green tea cake, despite mentioning they use matcha powder, lacked any real green tea flavor. The sweetness overpowered it completely. The blueberry cake was more reminiscent of a blueberry muffin, and again, a bit too sweet for us. It might be perfect for someone with a strong sweet tooth, but ours leans milder. Since they were out of tapioca pearls, my husband opted for an Orange Blossom Fleur D'oranger tea, while I settled for a Black Soy Bean latte. Both drinks were okay, but again, a touch sweeter than we'd prefer. The Black soy bean latte had beans in it to give it a more nutty profile. Unfortunately, the cashier informed me they couldn't adjust the sugar level for my latte. While the cakes and drinks weren't quite a hit for us, we'll definitely be back to try other baked goods and beverages. Maybe it was just a matter of picking the wrong things this time. We found the cashiers were friendly. However, it was quite crowded during our visit, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. It looked like they weren't able to keep up with cleaning tables. It's worth mentioning that some of the blame falls on the patrons too. Everyone should tidy up after themselves when they're finished. read more

Blue Angel has been our favorite bakery in Fort Lee for years. We wish their coffee was better (therefore one star off, I would have taken half a star off if I could) but their pastries are always yummy and the atmosphere is precious. It feels so homely and local. And always very busy. A big highlight of Blue Angel is their cakes, especially mousse cakes. They are not overly sweet which makes them quite unique in Northern NJ. I can't claim I have tasted every cake at every bakery around here, but Blue Angel cakes are the least sweet of all I have tasted. A real joy. read more

Korean go-to Bakery with a varied amount of Asian specialty pastries and savory items. Location: We normally visit on the weekend days so I can't speak for the weekday crowds. They have a large seating area which allows most times to find a seat. They are renovating right now so the seating may not be perfect but as long as you claim a seating space because people like to hang out, it is a comfortable place to enjoy your food. Food: On the earlier side in the morning, there are always a wide variety of sweet and savory options to pick. The curry pan or original pan is a classic that is in a warming station all the way to the left. They have a matcha croissant and mocha bread. Drinks: We like their tea lattes or regular lattes but their boba drinks are also a hit. It is a big menu so check it out. Rewards: Sign up for a rewards system if you come with your phone number. The service is efficient so sometime they forget to tell you. Give them your rewards information first to get those points. Service: They are quick and efficient with most items. Sum-up: Locals love this spot and it checks all of the boxes across the board. read more

Convenient parking lot and spacious bakery! They had a large assortment of options and everything tasted VERY fresh when we tried it. I'm very picky when it comes to drinks, and my hot caramel macchiato was delicious :) The staff were very friendly, and even though it was busy, our drinks came out pretty quickly. There's ample seating-- lots of large tables to do some work while you enjoy your coffee & pastries! My favorites were the mini red velvets and the langue de chat cookies. read more

Our family loves croquettes and these are the best we have ever had by a long shot. They came in three different varieties: original, curry, and cabbage filled. Loved the contrast of the cool crunchy cabbage against the soft fluffy interior of the dough. The taro milk tea was not good and was definitely made with some sort of artificial powder. However, you go for the baked goods, right? We tried a lot of items that we've never had before. Sorry that we ate them before taking pictures. The store was very clean. Half the staff was very friendly; Half didn't want to be bothered. Tip: Don't pay for metered street parking like we did. Drive around the corner to gain access to the raised parking lot where it's free. read more

I absolutely adore Korean bakeries as I used to work at one during High School and would always go to them to study throughout college. I love the fact that the pastries and goods here are handmade and baked daily. I came towards the late afternoon, but the pastries I got still tasted super fresh and were still crunchy. I love Korean cafe iced coffee and the one here really hit the spot! Wish this bakery had a location in Queens. read more

I have been to pretty much every bakery in Fort Lee, and by far, Blue Angel's lineup of pastry and breads rate higher both in taste and freshness than Tous Les Jours, Paris Baguette, Sunmerry and Cafe Bene. Not only is Blue Angel better in taste but they also have much more offerings than, maybe, all three competitors combined. Hands down, the best bakery in Fort Lee. read more

This is a good Korean bakery to check out if you're tired of going to Paris baguette. They have a different selection of baked goods both sweet and savory. My favorite has been the green bean bread which has a mochi-like texture and a mellow sweetness. Unfortunately it's not always available and the last few times I've been there I have not been able to find it. I have tried some other pastries as well and they all taste great and the sweetness is just right. If there is a chance, I would like to buy some of their cakes next time as well. They all look beautifully decorated and taste amazing according to other reviewers. read more

The sandwiches are just so good. While their sweets are amazing, the savouries are bomb!

I feel like this spot definitely would not be as bustling if it were not located right next to the BCD restaurant in the same complex. Full of koreans from church, post dinner folks, there always seems to be a crowd here. Bread and pastry selection here is limited and a little overpriced in my opinion -- but it's cool that they have specialty items like cakes, fish shaped bread, and patbingsoo. Inside is a little chaotic -- they have a decent amount of tables but they are all crammed together in one area causing it hard to get around. Bathroom inside as well. A decent spot to go in a grab a coffee but would not go out of my way to come to this cafe if not just finishing dinner at BCD. read more

Love the decor here, it instantly gave me a ambient atmosphere vibe as soon as I walked in. Staff is nice and friendly! Filled with many Asian locals, I feel right at home. I miss my hometown so I had decided to get a quick fix, I stumbled upon this place while choosing what bakeries were nearby from Paris Baguette. I wanted something close to what I experience back in nyc & this is it. Nice place to study and listen to music. Prices for pastry goods are reasonable, considering the detail in each item. Green bean bun: it doesn't give have a mochi like texture, it's more on the soft gummy texture, The first bite was good but after the second 'petal', it became overly sweet. It's not matcha, it's definitely green tea flavored. I believe green tea paste was used, not a fan of it. I tried but it was way too sweet for my liking. Custard bun- love love love, for the price and generous amount of custard inside, it's a must try! Black iced coffee is soooo good compared to Starbucks ice coffee. It's not diluted, the balance hits just the right notes. The strawberry pastry is hella huge and beautiful ($4.50 is a steal)- my stomach will cry later. The red bean and fresh cream bun is tiny compared to the other pastries. I enjoyed it. Fresh cream was good! NOTE: if you're lactose intolerant (myself), it's worth noting that there are few options available. read more

We got a big handful of different pastries at this bakery and I was monching on 4 star desserts until I bit into THE red bean cream buns. These buns are what bumped this place to 5 stars. They were THAT good. The regular cream was great, but the STRAWBERRY CREAM, Y'ALL. I'm salivating. I'm tearing up. It was so good. The bread was chewy, the cream melted in your mouth, and the red bean that layered the bottom gave it a different texture and flavor. It was the perfect lil pastry and I already want more. We also got the Almond Castella, Green Tea Swirl Cake, Red Bean Bites, and Soborro Bun. The castella was as castellas usually taste (not a bad thing!)-- dense and slightly sweet. I expected some almond flavor in the cake, but there were only almonds on top. Green tea cake was great, and the cream inside was similar to the one in the red bean bun (LOVE). My family was a big fan of the red bean bites, which were loaded full with red bean. There was such a huge selection of goods here it was like a sweet sweet buffet. Can't wait to try more of their cakes and breads in the future! read more

I came here for dessert after lunch on a Saturday afternoon with a group of 3 people. We ordered the cheesecake and the mango mousse cake. We also ordered coffee drinks. The cheesecake and mango mousse cake were not too sweet and very creamy. The fruit was really fresh on top. The cheesecake was large. The prices were reasonable and seemed to be cheaper than Paris Baguette. There also was a lot of parking since the parking lot is quite large. The seating area was very spacious and there's a lot of seating available. I would definitely come back and try their other desserts, the large cakes looked good. read more

This review is related to the business owner. My son responded to an advertisement relating to employment at the Hoboken location. He is a student at stevens and was looking for part time work. Mike from blue angel asked to meet with him yesterday at 11. My son drove an hour (living at home over the summer) to meet with him at the noted time. He arrived on time and was told that Mike didn't have time to interview him and to maybe come back around 12. No problem. My son went to grab lunch while he waited. He texted Mike and told him he would wait until he was ready but if today was no longer good he would be happy to do a virtual interview (keeping in mind he drove 2 hours round trip). 24 hours later and Mike nor anyone texted him. Extremely rude. Not a good look for a new business where much of their support could potentially come from the local stevens students. Common courtesy goes a long way in attracting prospective employees and future business read more
