    character butter cookie $3.50
    Elena W.

This place is kind of crazy, like they have SO much here! Freshly made cakes, macarons, breads, pastries, cookies, boba, coffee, shaved ice, dippin dots ice cream lmao. Probably easier to list what they don't serve. Their incredibly expansive menu is super impressive. I popped by towards the end of the day with my friend after a dinner in the area, and there was still ample supply of a lot of their products. I noticed these super cute character cookies in the form of a pig and bear, and I bought a lot of these to share with my colleagues. I tried one of the piggy cookies before handing them out, it was nice and soft and buttery. People loved how cute the cookies looked! I would definitely come back often if I was more local to Fort Lee to try more of their offerings.

Great selection of Korean sweets. The cakes are tasty and soft. Definitely can make your mouth dance. The place is spacious and very clean. The staff is friendly but be warned the coffee is very hot. Enjoy for an after dinner dessert.

Get place to pick up baked goods and coffee! Always one of our favorites places. There's always parking. I love seeing the variety of baked goods.

    Macaron selection
    Chelsea A.

Stopped in for a quick pick me up. It was quite late in the evening around 7:30pm so I assume the selection was less than usual. I'm gluten intolerant, so I'm happy to report that they had a gluten friendly treat: autumn cake. It was made of almond and hazelnut flour; shaped like a leaf. It was perfectly sweetened with honey and had a moist cake texture. I just wished I had ordered a latte to go with it because it was a simple yet delicious snack. Price was on the higher side at $3.95 but expected for a nice bakery and for a gluten friendly option. Other gluten friendly options were an Asian swiss roll (made of rice flour) and a large variety of macarons (made with almond flour). Interior has a good amount of seating and seems pretty clean. If you're in the area looking for a cute hangout spot or a place to work remote, I'd recommend Blue Angel!

    Passion fruit bubble tea

It's been a while since coming here, and I'm super impressed. I for the passion fruit bubble tea and it's really good. It's sweet with a little tart to it. And the savory pastries are delicious. I recommend the coquette (original) and the sausage and tomato one (I think) was super flavorful. The service was quick, but it can get super busy. The store was large, high ceilings and a lot of seating.

I got the brown sugar bubble tea and the walnut cookies. They were so good, I want to eat the walnut cookies all the time. The seating area inside was comfortable and everyone who worked there was so helpful. I would definitely recommend going here!

Loved the mango mousse. And the twist bread.

Loved the mango mousse. And the matcha roll and twist bread. Koreatown like prices in fortlee. But worth it. Would visit again.

wide range of treats like cookies, bread, cakes, drinks, shaved ice, and more! Perfect for breakfast or afternoon tea. I tried a couple of their breads-fluffy, soft, and buttery.

This cafe bakery sits nestled between BCD Tofu House, Sa Rit Gol, and an AYCE Shabu House, so it's bound to be lively. When we entered, there were many pre-packaged Korean baked goods, along with whole cakes for any occasion and slices if you don't need a full cake. They also offer bubble tea, but unfortunately, they were out of tapioca pearls the night we visited, much to my husband chagrin. We browsed for a while and ended up ordering a slice of blueberry cake and a slice of green tea cake. Unfortunately, the cakes weren't quite to our taste. The green tea cake, despite mentioning they use matcha powder, lacked any real green tea flavor. The sweetness overpowered it completely. The blueberry cake was more reminiscent of a blueberry muffin, and again, a bit too sweet for us. It might be perfect for someone with a strong sweet tooth, but ours leans milder. Since they were out of tapioca pearls, my husband opted for an Orange Blossom Fleur D'oranger tea, while I settled for a Black Soy Bean latte. Both drinks were okay, but again, a touch sweeter than we'd prefer. The Black soy bean latte had beans in it to give it a more nutty profile. Unfortunately, the cashier informed me they couldn't adjust the sugar level for my latte. While the cakes and drinks weren't quite a hit for us, we'll definitely be back to try other baked goods and beverages. Maybe it was just a matter of picking the wrong things this time. We found the cashiers were friendly. However, it was quite crowded during our visit, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. It looked like they weren't able to keep up with cleaning tables. It's worth mentioning that some of the blame falls on the patrons too. Everyone should tidy up after themselves when they're finished.

Cute patisserie and cafe down the street from the BCD tofu restaurant. The almond Tuiles look really good. Crunchy and light and airy. Definite spot to hit after a spicy tofu soup meal next door. The rolls are spongy and soft, even the GF rolls.

Convenient parking lot and spacious bakery! They had a large assortment of options and everything tasted VERY fresh when we tried it. I'm very picky when it comes to drinks, and my hot caramel macchiato was delicious :) The staff were very friendly, and even though it was busy, our drinks came out pretty quickly. There's ample seating-- lots of large tables to do some work while you enjoy your coffee & pastries! My favorites were the mini red velvets and the langue de chat cookies.

    Salad Croquette

Our family loves croquettes and these are the best we have ever had by a long shot. They came in three different varieties: original, curry, and cabbage filled. Loved the contrast of the cool crunchy cabbage against the soft fluffy interior of the dough. The taro milk tea was not good and was definitely made with some sort of artificial powder. However, you go for the baked goods, right? We tried a lot of items that we've never had before. Sorry that we ate them before taking pictures. The store was very clean. Half the staff was very friendly; Half didn't want to be bothered. Tip: Don't pay for metered street parking like we did. Drive around the corner to gain access to the raised parking lot where it's free.

Truly one of The Best in NJ. It is now a Korean Bakery shop \cafe and still makes very good products, but if you remember the "old PPB" it is not the same at all. Located on the main business district, there is street parking. I stopped in one evening to grab some items to go. The person working the counter was nice enough. They now have cafe\brunch items so it's not just a bakery anymore. Very little Italian pastries anymore; more generic cakes, donuts, cookies, etc are the norm now. Of course Korean specialties too. Their rice donuts were amazing. For many years, local bakeries in the area made a Bavarian creme filled pecan danish ring with streusel sugar drizzled on top. PPB still does and it is Amazing! Worth the trip just to buy this item!

Change of owner after COVID, and still offers the traditional, long-loved cakes and pastries as before - the famous pecan custard pie, cheese cake!!!! The good thing now is that they have a broader selection of Korean style pastries, along with meal menu. I have had their pizza, salad, and pasta: they are very good - just tad bit pricey. This morning brunch was something more surprising. We had omelette ($18.99) and Eggs Royale with smoked salmon ($21.99), and they come with coffee included. The omelette was filled with veggies and the eggs royal benedict was perfectly poached. Great to sit quietly for brunch on a weekday.

I noticed that Mavi's has installed wall mounted televisions, which scroll menu items, specials, and upcoming events. This was my first time ordering from their brunch menu and it was outstanding. My Western Omelette (ham, onion, mushroom, pepper, egg, potato, arugula, almond slices) was an excellent choice. Every ingredient was fresh, the eggs were fluffy, and it was accompanied by a side salad and two large slices of multigrain bread. The other items were the artistically presented Avocado Salad (Avocado, tomato, onion crisp, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, arugula mixed salad, almond slices with balsamic glaze and sesame dressing) and the Toowoomba Shrimp Donkatsu (crispy, golden-fried cutlet smothered in a rich, creamy, and spicy Cajun Toowoomba sauce with shrimp, onions, and mushrooms, served alongside a half-portion of pasta). This dish is succulent, creamy, pleasantly spicy, and thoroughly enjoyed. I'll never dine at Mavi's without ordering a Kimchi Bulgogi Pizza (tomato sauce, mozzarella, onion, mushroom, bulgogi beef, kimchi, scallion, spicy mayo drizzle). Not only does every ingredient dance in your mouth, but the soft beet infused crust makes this one of the best pizzas I've happily savored.

I was excited to finally order dinner after hearing good things, but my husband and I were unfortunately disappointed with the experience. We ordered takeout for dinner: Toowoomba Shrimp Pasta with Tonkatsu and the Spicy Original Tteokbokki (rice cakes) with Fried Kim-ma-ri (fried seaweed rolls). The shrimp pasta had good flavor but the portion was way too tiny. After only three or four bites, it was gone. There were about 4 pieces of shrimp in the entire dish and they could've added more pasta, given that it's not an expensive ingredient. The tonkatsu was also underwhelming. It was a small piece served in a large container that made the portion size look even more skimpy. I was also disappointed in the tteokbokki. It was mostly sauce with no egg and only a few pieces of fish cake, again served in a container that was far too large for the amount of food provided. The kim-ma-ri pieces were fine but also very small. Overall, the meal was underwhelming. For a total cost of nearly $50, the quantities were just way too small. We were left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry.
