A variety of pastries to choose from.
    Donald K.

Always enjoy coming here for dessert. There's plenty of free parking in the front and they have a great variety of drinks, cakes and pastries to choose from. It's also a very clean and cozy atmosphere. If you are in the area, then I highly recommend coming here with family, friends, colleagues and especially your significant other. :)

Great selection of Korean sweets. The cakes are tasty and soft. Definitely can make your mouth dance. The place is spacious and very clean. The staff is friendly but be warned the coffee is very hot. Enjoy for an after dinner dessert.

    Macaron selection
    Chelsea A.

Stopped in for a quick pick me up. It was quite late in the evening around 7:30pm so I assume the selection was less than usual. I'm gluten intolerant, so I'm happy to report that they had a gluten friendly treat: autumn cake. It was made of almond and hazelnut flour; shaped like a leaf. It was perfectly sweetened with honey and had a moist cake texture. I just wished I had ordered a latte to go with it because it was a simple yet delicious snack. Price was on the higher side at $3.95 but expected for a nice bakery and for a gluten friendly option. Other gluten friendly options were an Asian swiss roll (made of rice flour) and a large variety of macarons (made with almond flour). Interior has a good amount of seating and seems pretty clean. If you're in the area looking for a cute hangout spot or a place to work remote, I'd recommend Blue Angel!

    Passion fruit bubble tea
    Grace H.

It's been a while since coming here, and I'm super impressed. I for the passion fruit bubble tea and it's really good. It's sweet with a little tart to it. And the savory pastries are delicious. I recommend the coquette (original) and the sausage and tomato one (I think) was super flavorful. The service was quick, but it can get super busy. The store was large, high ceilings and a lot of seating.

I got the brown sugar bubble tea and the walnut cookies. They were so good, I want to eat the walnut cookies all the time. The seating area inside was comfortable and everyone who worked there was so helpful. I would definitely recommend going here!

Loved the mango mousse. And the twist bread.

Loved the mango mousse. And the matcha roll and twist bread. Koreatown like prices in fortlee. But worth it. Would visit again.

This cafe bakery sits nestled between BCD Tofu House, Sa Rit Gol, and an AYCE Shabu House, so it's bound to be lively. When we entered, there were many pre-packaged Korean baked goods, along with whole cakes for any occasion and slices if you don't need a full cake. They also offer bubble tea, but unfortunately, they were out of tapioca pearls the night we visited, much to my husband chagrin. We browsed for a while and ended up ordering a slice of blueberry cake and a slice of green tea cake. Unfortunately, the cakes weren't quite to our taste. The green tea cake, despite mentioning they use matcha powder, lacked any real green tea flavor. The sweetness overpowered it completely. The blueberry cake was more reminiscent of a blueberry muffin, and again, a bit too sweet for us. It might be perfect for someone with a strong sweet tooth, but ours leans milder. Since they were out of tapioca pearls, my husband opted for an Orange Blossom Fleur D'oranger tea, while I settled for a Black Soy Bean latte. Both drinks were okay, but again, a touch sweeter than we'd prefer. The Black soy bean latte had beans in it to give it a more nutty profile. Unfortunately, the cashier informed me they couldn't adjust the sugar level for my latte. While the cakes and drinks weren't quite a hit for us, we'll definitely be back to try other baked goods and beverages. Maybe it was just a matter of picking the wrong things this time. We found the cashiers were friendly. However, it was quite crowded during our visit, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. It looked like they weren't able to keep up with cleaning tables. It's worth mentioning that some of the blame falls on the patrons too. Everyone should tidy up after themselves when they're finished.

Blue Angel Cafe and Bakery in Fort Lee, NJ. @blueangelcafebakery is the perfect place for a lovely Sunday breakfast. This Korean Bakery has so many different sweet and savory baked goodies! Everything is made onsite making it super fresh. It's a grab and go style-so pick out your favorite things and enjoy for breakfast or lunch! It's self serve so it's really fast and easy! wide range of treats like cookies, bread, cakes, drinks, shaved ice, and more! Perfect for breakfast or afternoon tea. I tried a couple of their breads-fluffy, soft, and buttery.

Cute patisserie and cafe down the street from the BCD tofu restaurant. The almond Tuiles look really good. Crunchy and light and airy. Definite spot to hit after a spicy tofu soup meal next door. The rolls are spongy and soft, even the GF rolls.

Convenient parking lot and spacious bakery! They had a large assortment of options and everything tasted VERY fresh when we tried it. I'm very picky when it comes to drinks, and my hot caramel macchiato was delicious :) The staff were very friendly, and even though it was busy, our drinks came out pretty quickly. There's ample seating-- lots of large tables to do some work while you enjoy your coffee & pastries! My favorites were the mini red velvets and the langue de chat cookies.

    Salad Croquette

Our family loves croquettes and these are the best we have ever had by a long shot. They came in three different varieties: original, curry, and cabbage filled. Loved the contrast of the cool crunchy cabbage against the soft fluffy interior of the dough. The taro milk tea was not good and was definitely made with some sort of artificial powder. However, you go for the baked goods, right? We tried a lot of items that we've never had before. Sorry that we ate them before taking pictures. The store was very clean. Half the staff was very friendly; Half didn't want to be bothered. Tip: Don't pay for metered street parking like we did. Drive around the corner to gain access to the raised parking lot where it's free.

I ordered the Unagi Don Gozen ($42)- it came with a whole tray of different delicious items, with the star of the show being a generous amount of unagi (eel) over rice. The eel was cooked very well and the rice was flavorful with a bit of sweetness. There was also a small bowl of udon noodles, some sashimi, a crispy tempura shrimp in a yummy creamy sauce, flavorful edamame, mashed potato with corn, and some pickled veggies - quite the diverse array, all of which was tasty. The restaurant itself has a rather simple yet elegant Japanese wooden design. The prices suggest it's a more high end place, but the vibe is actually rather casual. The staff are very attentive and the service speed is pretty quick. Overall, I would definitely give Moru 4.5 stars if I could. I think it's great for most types of occasions, and the only reasons it's not getting 5 stars is because I do think the prices are a tad higher than I would've hoped and I think they could've done a bit more in terms of designing the place to match the price point. That being said, I still highly recommend Moru, especially for a nice lunch.

The restaurant had a nice interior, fancy bar, lots of arts and Cuban vibes all around. They had booth seating by the window that had good view of Hudson Terrace and I-9. Ham croquettes and the bao buns with shredded beef were average. For entree I ordered the Rabo Encendido (braised oxtail stew). It came with three pieces of bone with plenty of meat on them, on side of rice and beans. I loved the taste of the oxtail and the stew, was flavorful and meat was tender. I also got to try the seafood paella which lacked flavor, rice was so bland. The chicken & waffle's waffle was good but the fried chicken pieces were so basic. I got the mango mojito (non-achohol) that was so tasty, I ordered two of them. Our server was super nice, did an excellent job throughout the lunch. All staff members were friendly. Atmosphere is cute and vibes are great, definitely has modern and traditional Korean vibes. However, I would not say that this is like a traditional tea house? Having been to A LOT of tea houses in Korea, their menu and concept is definitely far from what a traditional teahouse is like. For instance, a traditional teahouse would have assorted rice, cakes and traditional, Korean desserts, however, I feel like this place used modern French pastries, and put a Korean twist on them, which I would say is not very Korean in reality. Baked goods were OK. It tasted stale. Losing a star for that as well.
