Papadum Basket: This complimentary appetizer was an excellent start to the meal. The sabudana papad is a bubble wafer with an appearance identical to styrofoam. The traditional papadum is a flat lentil base crisp that kind of reminds me of a flattened looseleaf. Although the shapes of these wafers have different appearance, their taste is superior. I asked a server about the difference between the two plates; he told me he was a new hire and did not know the answer. I truly appreciated his honesty and was grateful he got another waiter to assist me instead of trying to answer it without the proper knowledge.
