Attarote is located on Park Ave in East Rutherford. Street parking can be difficult because of the other businesses there, but I saw a sign at the front that says that customers can park in the dedicated lot. I will have to make a mental note to look for that lot next time. My friend and I came here for dinner on a Friday around 7, and we got the last table for 2. There are about 4 tables inside. It is a small location but do not underestimate its food! As soon as you come in, the staff is very welcoming. We ordered right away. Appetizer: chicken sautay. This comes with a little cucumber tomato salad and a peanut sauce. The salad was a great touch to add a bit of sweetness to the chicken. Main dish: Pad Se-Ew and Panang Curry. I love ordering curry at Thai restaurants. I found the mild spice to not be too spicy. It was delicious- the perfect amount of liquid and thickness. I ordered it with shrimp, and it included vegetables like carrots and peppers. It also came with a side of rice. I devoured the meal. I'm excited to come back and try out more things on the menu! read more

Drunken noodles are always a hit or a miss but this location DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I order the lunch special for pick up and it was so good I got a chicken drunken noodle with free soup and I chose the Tum Yum soup and loved both, 10/10. I really liked that the menu had 5 spice levels and you get to choose what spice level for drunken noodles. The mild was spicier than what I would expect but I still enjoyed it so much. It took about 15 minutes for my order to get ready. There's plenty of parking outside so I didn't struggle. Highly reccomend it. read more

This might be one of the best Thai spots I've had in NJ and I wouldn't be surprised if they become one of the top restaurants in NJ. Unfortunately I was too hungry to take pictures before eating.... Ordered takeout which was fast and the guy that picked up phone was very pleasant. Store was very quiet but this is truly a hidden gym in East Rutherford. Chicken curry puffs: nicely seasoned and amazing portions. Coconut shrimp: very coconuty but very good. Pad Thai with chicken: perfectly seasoned, generous portions. Was in the mood for some curry and found this place and boy it did not disappoint. Was with a group of friends so we ordered three dishes and an appetizers and a couple desserts (I mean what's Thai food without some sticky coconut rice with mango !). For appetizers we had edamame which was good. We ordered Pan sew yu with beef (level three spicy), pineapple fried rice with chicken (level one spicy this that even a thing.. level one ), and green curry with chicken (level five spicy). All three dishes were great, lots of flavor and heat! For dessert we got the fried honey bananas and sticky coconut rice (which is my favorite ) . Current favorite spot for Thai food at the moment. Medium is spicy just how Thai food should be. Our faves are the pad prik king dish. Love that its a dry dish where other places it has too much sauce. Pad kee mao has a great wok char on it which is hard to find. Street parking and municipal lot across the street. Attarote Thai Cuisine was a real gem of a find. The restaurant is small, bright, clean, and intimate, with only a few tables. I actually liked it that way--it feels like a great place for a date. Lots of people we getting take out too. The service was great. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I had the pad Thai and red curry, and both were delicious. Spice level 2 was perfect for me, but I'd recommend level 1 if spicy food usually has you regretting your life choices, mood, feelings and thoughts. Street parking was easy to find, although I went on a quiet Sunday. I can honestly see this place becoming so popular that there may eventually be a wait. Which I hope happens even for the detriment of me getting a seat! I'd give Attarote six stars if Yelp allowed it. I plan on becoming a regular and hope they keep the same high level of food, service, and quality. To the owners: please keep up this good work. This place has a very bright future. read more

I don't write reviews very often, and when I do, it is because the place was exceptional on some level. Ordered the pad Thai with shrimp, green curry with chicken, (medium spice) and Thai iced tea. The pad Thai was perfectly balanced, tart, savory, sweet. All of the ingredients were in perfect harmony. The green curry showcased crisp vegetables, in a coconut curry sauce that was actually creamy with a long finish on the palate. And the Thai iced tea reminded us that it is a tea and actually had an upfront tea flavory blended with the sweetness of the different milks. Cap-Cun-Cup to Attarote Thai for opening. Delicious! The larb tofu salad was prepared exactly how I like it (it's a chicken dish on the menu but they were more than happy to make a vegetarian version for me when I asked).
