    tofu & broccoli

Absolutely superb, compared to others in my area. Tried this for the first time via delivery, and ordered: - drunken noodle with chicken & tofu, mild: good size portion, yummy and comforting. Great flavor, and the tofu has a firm texture. - broccoli and tofu, jasmine rice: great, healthy dish. The tofu has a firm texture, and pairs really nicely with the rice. - summer roll: I usually get this when I'm craving Vietnamese, but decided to give it a try here. These were great, and pretty big. Fresh tasting ingredients. - vegetable soup: clear broth with bean thread noodle, tofu and mixed vegetables - light and comforting. - roti: the star of the night! I saw this in the "side order" section, and gave it a go. Comes in four small triangles - chewy texture and delicious! Definitely going to order again.

I've had food here a few times over the years but mostly do takeout or delivery. The portions are on the smaller side, especially their lunch specials. I've notice many of their dishes like the drunken noodles or pad Thai tend to be a little too sweet but still very much eatable. There aren't a lot of Thai restaurants in the area and this one is nothing to rave about but is decent.

A cozy Thai spot. This is the original of their 2 locations. The other is in Yonkers so be careful when placing your 3rd party order to choose the correct location. Cute decor. Friendly service. I ordered chicken pad thai to go. The portion was adequate, and the taste was fine. It was missing the bean sprouts. In general, the dish felt lacking (very frugal on the ingredients). If they added the proper or ample amounts of the basic ingredients, I would bump it up a star.

Place was good. Nothing crazy. Papaya salad was pretty good. Pretty quaint place, good quick service. Drunken noodle and pad thai was okay. Tasty but not authentic or made with love. Rating a 3 because there are better places out there, but wasn't a bad experience. Mango sticky rice was good.

We were exhausted today so we ordered in. We had the Thai fried rice with beef and the Drunken noodles also with beef. Both were excellent and next time we will definitely order more items. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I had the drunken noodle with chicken. I'm giving it a 5 stars because the flat noodle dish is not smothered with too much sauce. It's got the right amount of flavor and saltiness. ( Not too salty) I like the crunchy sweet peppers and have enough tender chicken breasts. I'd definitely order this again . Service is excellent.

It's a bit heartbreaking for me to give this place a 4-star rating when I believe it deserves closer to 4.5-4.6. My newfound craving for Thai food started off well here! The Tom Yum soup, which I was eagerly waiting for, exceeded my expectations. I initially thought it would be enough for my wife and I to share, but, do not make the same mistake as us, I regret not ordering a bowl just for myself. Their green curry with chicken was absolutely delightful, bursting with flavor, and paired perfectly with jasmine rice. I can definitely see myself returning for this and the Tom Yum soup in the near future. The only dish that left us wanting a bit more was the drunken noodles. We expected a stronger rice wine flavor, but it didn't quite hit the mark. Nevertheless, it was still delicious, just not quite what we're used to with when we order drunken noodles. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant had a quiet ambiance. My takeaway is that their Tom Yum Soup and Green Curry alone are definitely worth a return visit. I'm pleased to have found this spot near my home. As for the drunken noodles, I don't dislike them, I actually like them quite a bit but it reminds me of a bit too much like Chow Fun (which I love), so I think they could be a bit more "drunken noodle-ish" if that makes any sense. I hope to return soon and explore their other dishes!

Pad See Ew chicken, brown rice, green curry and pineapple fried rice.

We just had our first dine-n lunch at Eagle Thai and couldn't have been more pleased. From the smiling waiter, to the fantastic photo decor, to the remarkable food...well done! We enjoyed all four of our lunch choices: Mango salad, green curry with chicken, pad see ew with chicken, and pineapple fried rice with chicken. The mango salad was so fresh AND refreshing, it was my personal favorite! The Green Curry was an "8 outta 10" regarding spice heat and hit the perfect flavor notes. The Pad See Ew was that deliciously sweet noodle dish we anticipated, and the pineapple fried rice was full of chicken and was bathed in a chili lime juice. Can't wait for the next meal at Eagle Thai!

This is one of the best Thai restaurants imho. It isn't a big or fancy place, but it has a nice air and it is cozy. But the reason to come here isn't the atmosphere, it's the food. There aren't many places that rock Pad Thai. Some places it's too dry. Others it lacks the signature tamarind flavor. The pad Thai here is on point. It is saucy not dry. You can absolutely taste the tamarind and it has enough fish sauce to get the umami right but not to make you say eww what is that odd taste. The curries are great. Many places they are very thin. Not here. They each have a nice Thai basil scent and again the flavors meld perfectly in all. The peppers still have some bite and aren't all mushy. The white rice side is generous enough for the whole bowl of curry. The drunken noodles which I honestly find to be uneventful but edible most places are delightful here. They too are saucy but not overly so. They are delicious. The curry puff appetizer is great - and we snarfed them down so fast I couldn't get a picture. Same with the pork dumpling. The pork is so very tasty in those. You can taste the scallion and the ginger and the meat. Delish. And again no picture. We usually get the mango rice for dessert because it is sooo good, but being honest we ordered so much food because we brought a new person with us and wanted him to try them all so we were way too full for dessert. Definitely come here if you like Thai.

Time for a stomach reset!…read more This restaurant is not for those who are sensitive to flavor and spice. If salt and pepper are the only two spices you can handle, this is not the restaurant, rather not the cuisine, for you. Thai food is based on a multitude of factors. Colors, variety, and spice. What I got here reflects all of that, even if my pictures show a large shade of brown. My first item is the Kao Soi Ped, a coconut curry noodle soup with duck and shallots. I was incredibly afraid to eat the whole thing because coconut curry is a natural laxative. However, the dry noodles and crispy (and rather tasty) duck probably saved me from potential embarrassment. The dish evolved from a chow mein into almost like a duck ramen, which actually made it fun to eat despite the insane flavor bomb it packed. My go-to at any Thai restaurant is a Drunken Noodle, better known as a Pad Kee Mao. It carries quite a punch to the mouth in flavor. There is also plenty of variance on the plate with ample noodles and chicken. The amount of vegetables to protein to noodle is appropriately proportionate to each other. Not one piece of this dish is out of place. The spice also countered the richness of the curry and to my surprise, I finished the whole thing. I never go to a Thai restaurant without ordering a Thai Iced Tea, and this one does it as well as one can make it. My advice is to order it and save it for later, when the heat and flavors need some temperance from taking over your stomach, throat, and later, perhaps your bowels. For Upper West Side standards, this is par for the course in terms of price and value. It is also close by the 1 train when it comes to convenience, but keep in mind the kitchen closes for a bit as the restaurant shifts from lunch mode to dinner mode. Good thing the restaurant is not far from a few distractions to keep you entertained if you want to dine here but do not live in the neighborhood. Or you could just plan your trip accordingly like any normal person and stop in after 4:30 pm if you want to come here for dinner. Enjoy the experience.

No one else was there but after I ordered and started eating the place began filling up. They have a big menu and a lunch specials menu which is what I chose from. I asked my server for his suggestion. He inquired how hungry I was and I said very . He suggested the Pad Kee Mao and reminded me it's spicy. I said bring on the heat. I also go the chicken wings which was one of the choices that comes with the entree. My food didn't take very long and arrived piping hot. The chicken wings were fried nicely, could have used a bit more salt but were still very good. My noodles however- FANTASTIC !!! Chewy consistentcy, fresh veggies , well seasoned and sauced and yes super spicy. Happy tummy, I cleaned my plate . I really enjoyed my meal and already plan on returning. The restaurant is clean and has a beautiful modern decor. Service is quick, attentive and friendly. *I have to mention that while there is a bathroom it is located at the back and you have to climb 2 single steps ( on step at 2 different points of elevation on the floor ) This might pose a difficulty to some as it's not fully accessible.

The service was pleasant, friendly, efficient and helpful from the minute we walked in without a reservation. The ambiance and decor was gorgeous and took me out of NYC for a moment. The phenomenal taste of the first sip of the Thai Iced Tea that paired so well with the rest of my meal is the reason behind the first picture I took. For the apps we ordered my favorite- Chicken Curry Puffs and Chicken Satay. The Chicken Curry Puffs were soft and perfectly mashy on the inside and had a perfect crisp to the layered outside. The Chicken Satay was so different here and yet so savory served with this soft garlic bread. The sauces were so fresh, vibrant and distinct and added to both the appetizers. The peanut sauce had crushed peanuts and was such an accompaniment to texture. For the mains, we had the Chicken Pad Thai and the Braised Beef Short Rib in Penang Curry. The Pad Thai was a great standard and tasty with the crisp sprouts and zesty lime. This Braised Beef Short Rib is where it is at! One of their house specialties- the decadent flavors and textures of this dish is something that will be memorable and just the right touch of spice. Lovely bright orange sweet potatoes and beautiful green beans went so well together with the beef and curry. Looking forward to trying more of their menu and not defaulting to my usual. Warmed up Chicken Pad Thai on the pan over the stove today in a little bit of butter, this was as delicious as it was going to get today. I missed one of the most exquisite Thai Iced Teas I've had in a while, it truly set the tone of how great this late lunch was.
