Food was okay nothing special at all. Thai iced coconut coffee was amazing, on the sweeter side. Fried tofu special was good, not too oily. Pork dish was a lot smaller than pictures and it had a lot of fat but it was worth trying. The rice it came with was chewy and on the wetter side so that was a plus. Kao soi had a prominent coconut flavor, it was spicy and the chicken it came with was super tender. Not a big fan of their rice noodles but the crispy noodles that came on top was a good texture contrast. Crab curry was yummy good for those who like seafood and that fishy flavor. Skip beef noodle soup. Mango sticky rice was good but some parts of it were bruised so not too happy with that. Service was alright. Good interior vibes though. We came here on a Saturday noon for family lunch. They had a small but very cute modern style dining space, room for about 30 guests. The menu had plenty of popular Thai starters, salads, soups, curries and entrees like rice and noodles dishes. The chef's special dishes were pricey, between $24-$32 each. We started with the chicken wings, that came with half dozen pieces and chili sauce. They were deep fried kind, so skin was hard to peel off the meat. For entree I got the crab curry, with side of rice. I was blown away by the dish, as it had so much flavors mixed in with scrambled egg, onions and huge amount of crab meat. I loved it so much, I decided to order the dish for take out in future. We also got the tamarind shrimp, that had plenty tasty shrimps on top, but the tamarind sauce didn't mix well with the crispy noodles. The Thai iced was also disappointing, very watery and overfilled with ice. The service was decent. The space was so small we could see both staff all the time and called them when we needed help. They also packed our leftovers. Dishes came out in short intervals. Overall a decent Thai spot in the neighborhood but some of the dishes and iced tea certainly needs improvement. read more

Tamarind shrimp with fried thin noodles need way more sauce. They put the shrimp right on top of the noodles. All the sauce goes down to the bottom. Noodles itself have no taste. I got minimum taste of tamarind. Thai ice tea has way too much ice. I don't get the strong tea or cream flavor. Chicken wings are good tho. juicy and the sauce is good. Crab curry is not bad. Not spicy at all even though they put 1 on the menu. Nice staff. Attentive and friendly. I hope they adjust their flavor a bit. Thai food should have bold flavors. read more

Came as soon as Thaiway opened starving. They were ready to receive my mother and I at 11:32a. The restaurant was beautifully lit and modern really cute for a sit down lunch or casual dinner date. We Started with a Thai ice tea, so yummy and refreshing and with the lunch special we had a choice of salad or soup I got the chicken wonton soup. So refreshing and tasty, the clear broth soup was a perfect palate waker-upper. We shared the chicken wings which were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Granted, my order was limited, but the chicken in the rice was overcooked and shredded, while the spring rolls needed a LOT of dipping sauce for flavor. Girlfriends and I came on a weekend for dinner. We love Thai food and were excited to try! We ordered pad thai, pad see ew, papaya salad, and a curry. The waiters must have forgotten to put our pad thai order in, because we had to ask for it when it didn't show up with the rest of our food. Found this little hidden gem that was so delicious. I think the best thing about it was the papaya salad and crab curry because why did every single scoop had more than three lumps of crab meat in it? Talk about best thing on the menu and completely worth the price. I would say the ambience is very chic and modern even the Buddha statue matches with the interior design. It's a very cute place to have a date or a lunch with a girlfriend like I did however, I do have to say that the service was a little slow and we had to ask for water multiple times. That and also the very dry noodles that we got gave this a review of a four out of five we also ordered two desserts, the coconut ice cream and also the Thai tea crème brûlée the Thai tea. Crème brûlée did not have much Thai tea flavor, even though it was delicious I do love the ice cream. It had warm sticky rice on the bottom and I particularly enjoyed everything about it. This was the worst Pad Thai I've ever had and I've had a lot. It was flavorless, yet as soon as you open the container, all you smell is fish sauce. I paid $18 for the chicken Pad Thai, but the portion was surprisingly small, more like a lunch-sized serving. Smaller than my hand. The chicken had a strange, rubbery texture. Overall, it tasted more like the fake Pad Thai you'd get from a generic Chinese takeout place, not from an authentic Thai restaurant. On a positive note, the place was clean and nicely decorated, and the woman who helped me was very friendly.
