    Lychee Duck

10/30/25 New Thai restaurant in my town. Jib and Saji are friendly and helpful Thai Iced Tea was ok Grilled Pork was so good! So tender and flavorful. The Lemon hot sauce and the Tamarind hot sauce were both good. Duck in Lychee Curry was so good. The Duck was tender. Went back a few days later with a family member. Duck Pad Kra Pow (Basil Sauce) was crispy yet tender and flavorful. Tamarind Duck was very good. Green Curry Chicken was good but not as flavorful as the ducks.

We had a really nice experience here. The crispy rolls were perfectly crunchy on the outside and fresh on the inside, making them a great way to start the meal. The spicy curry had a rich, bold flavor with just the right amount of heat. It was well balanced and comforting without being overwhelming. The drunk noodles were tasty and well seasoned, but I would have loved to see more vegetables added in for extra texture and freshness. The basil rice was definitely my favorite dish. It was incredibly flavorful, fragrant, and satisfying, and I would come back just for that alone. The people working there were very nice and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, it was a good meal with great flavors and kind service.

This place is located on a busy road so parking is a little tough. It's a nice sized restaurant. At lunch there was only one server but she was very kind and attentive. They have a lunch special with 5 or so items. It comes with 2 spring rolls or thai iced tea (+$2). The iced tea was sweet and caffeinated. The pad thai was a large portion size, not fishy and sweet. The tofu was a little too moist in the middle though. The basil fried rice was nice and spicy. It was white in color so I didn't expect that much flavor. The prices are fair. I will return to try other dishes.

Came here for dinner the other day with two friends and got everything pictured. The food was delicious, the service was great, it wasn't a super fancy place but it was clean and quaint. Went on a Saturday night and wasn't that difficult to get a seat! Out of all the Thai places in the area this is definitely my top one. I'll be coming back in the future

Ordered pad thai, crispy tofu and thai iced tea. Everything was delicious and good price. Friendly service.

This is the place for lunch. Generous portion of Pad Thai but what an incredible take on a delicious favorite. This is the best I have ever had, perfectly done rice noodles, tamarind sauce with flavor like no other. And spring rolls that were light, crisp and delicious. I will be returning often. And all for a very reasonable price.

Tried a new Thai place in Hackensack today. The restaurant has such a cute and cozy vibe. The food was good, but everything came out very slowly because they just opened and are really understaffed. Our server, she was super sweet and polite. Please be patient and give them a chance...hope business picks up for them. Good luck!

    Fried rice with grilled pork

Our first visit here and we had a wonderful experience. The food and service was excellent. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The crispy boneless duck was tasty with the fried basil leaves. The 2 dipping sauces for the grilled pork over fried rice was surprisingly good, and I used it on everything. Looking forward to our next visit to try more delicious dishes.

    Green Curry with chicken, tasty

Oh MAN! They were sold out of the green Curry BUT the Red Curry with chicken was the BEST EVER! I went to Ping Yang Thai because I was in the mood for Thai flavor. I chose this place because I had never been. I had been to a few other Thai restaurants in the area, but was not impressed, so I needed a new place. Ok okay, I'm a very decent flavorful cook so I'm hard to please, but I was blowed away with the flavors of the Red Curry. The chicken was tender, the flavor of coconut and spices were perfect. The Chef seemed focused, my food arrived in the minutes he said it would. Before I could finish this review, I went back. We ate in house, the decor is nice. We had the shrimp rolls which were crispy and just okay, Shrimp Pad Thai, which was seasoned well but gummy, I had to try the Green Curry with chicken, tasty, but not as good as the Red Curry. Overall Ping Yang Thai gets 4 1/2 stars until I return.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the staff and got an empty table by the window inside their cozy and inviting vibe. Their menu features a wide selection of ramen, curry, and appetizers. I decided on their newest edition--Wonton Ramen and 3 pieces of Fried Chicken. The savory ramen soup was filled with shrimp wontons. Even though they were very thin wonton wrappers with a smaller amount of filling, they tasted consistent with other shrimp wontons from past restaurants, accompanied by Menma Bamboo, Scallions, and Egg. The Fried Chicken was well seasoned. The food overall remained authentic and incredibly flavorful and on point. The portion was very generous. Friendly service, and the price was reasonable. Make sure one comes on an empty stomach.

Well, Soup Maison and Latin Kitchen makes soup an everyday food! There's always the favorite tomato bisque or tomato tortellini soup but with a rotating menu of different soups and other dishes plus a deli and empanadas, you really can't go wrong and it can be different every time you go. My new favorite is the tomato tortellini soup paired with one of their empanadas. I'm a fan of their beef empanada but their buffalo chicken empanada was a great balance of a savory chicken with just the right amount of heat. Try it with the green sauce, it's not for everyone's taste but it's a great mix. The fact that they have many soup options (with samples, if you wish) you can pair it with something or just go for a large and have it all to yourself makes it a place to mix and match on every visit. It's a comfy place, but there's not that much room to dine in, but there's a small table- but I don't mind running back home, get comfy and enjoy the food. Service has always been friendly- don't hesitate to ask for a taste, but let them do it- it's not self serve.

Instead, I found a clean, efficient dim sum spot with surprisingly good food. The self-service concept worked really well. You order at the counter, pick up your own food, and there is no tipping. I actually like this system because at traditional dim sum restaurants you often spend more time waiting for carts or servers than eating. One thing that really impressed me was the cleanliness. The restaurant isn't newly renovated, but it's well maintained. After each table left, the staff cleaned with fresh sanitizing wipes instead of using the same cloth over and over. They also serve everything with disposable plates and utensils, which personally gives me more confidence than reusable tableware that isn't always cleaned thoroughly. The food was consistently good. The lotus leaf sticky rice was fragrant, the rice noodle roll with fried dough had a great texture, and the Teochew dumplings were generously filled. The standout dish was the stuffed trio.
