Food is ok. The place itself - no AC, slow service, terrible customer service. You have to pay for ice .50 for a cup. If you want more, it's additional. Empanadas are good as are almond croissants. But both you can get from other places without this must hassle, wait and attitude.
This is the coconut mousse cake with coconut mousse and dulce de leche fillings! It was absolutely devine and not as experience as i thought. This was the 6inch cake that fed about 6-8 people at my house, and only $26 for how beautiful and flavorful it was. I went the day before father's day and it was a bit busy but nothing crazy. Went in father's day to also get a drink and the line was crazy. Was told, after mass at the church nearby, they are super busy. So i guess foot traffic is a hit-or-miss depending on the time. Workers were nice and fast paced. The place is very modern and cute with adorable displays. Lots of food and bakery options, and drinks from tea-coffee-smoothies and more. Very much worth the money!
We got a strawberry croissant and the double mousse cake. The strawberry croissant was great, it was filled with strawberry jam and cream. The double mousse cake was not anything to write home about though. For such a beautiful looking cake, it was very disappointing in flavor. Just way too mild of a flavor.
Ordered a traditional Argentine cake and was very happy. The cake was fresh and beautiful. The alfajores were also delicious and fresh. This place was packed and for good reason. They have lots of variety, everything looked tasty and fresh!
Dulche de Leche became my favorite cafe so fast that I went there three days in a row after my first visit... talk about OBSESSED. This place has so much to offer: packed sandwiches and salads to-go, pastries and desserts, warm meals, juices, coffees and teas, cakes, and even jars of their specialty dulche de leche, bags of their baked meringues and breads to enjoy at home. Talk about a LOT for a small cafe. But what I love most is that every single thing that I tasted from here has been DELICIOUS without feeling as if you've broken the bank to enjoy a nice treat, which I often feel at other cafes. So when it comes to quality and value, Dulche De Leche takes the gold for me! In terms of my favorite menu items from here, I love their avocado toast and veggie tartine because they're both very hearty, and leave you feeling very satisfied. Their juices, especially the orange one, are really good. Their cakes are some of the best I've ever had. My favorite is their Dulche de leche with peaches inside. So airy, fresh, and not too sweet. It's also a unique combination that is sure to be a pleasant surprise for anyone. I always make sure to order a slice of this cake whenever I visit :) Dulche is a pretty aesthetic cafe and has a chill vibe. It's perfect for grabbing coffee or a small meal with some friends or to study/ do some work. There several sitting options here but make sure to come early or be willing to wait because there are always so many people here coming in and out. But I guess it's now no surprise why this place is so popular. Dulche de leche, you were love at first sight. Please don't ever leave me!!!
Dulce De Leche is a North Jersey staple. I've been here twice; once to pick up my mom's Mothers Day cake and another to get some work done. The cons are...no parking, no Apple Pay, can't order ahead. Pros... quick service, friendly employees and everything is delicious! Recently, I visited with my friend on a Saturday evening. Very crowded which I expected; waited around 30 minutes on line. Decided on ordering a tropical smoothie which was very refreshing! Of course, I had to get a slice of their Dulce de Leche chocolate slice (If you know, you know). My friends boyfriend bought her this cake for her birthday and i've been hooked ever since. Can pre-order their cakes for special occasions. Definitely one of my go to bakeries in the area!
Favorite go to place for breakfast any day of the week. The place is always busy so getting a seat can sometimes take a little bit. The staff is all very friendly and know their locals by name. Their croissant sandwiches and empanadas are very good and taste very fresh. Their empanadas are baked and have great flavor. For it down breakfast, I recommend the western omelette which comes with breakfast potatoes. They have a stand where you can get your condiments to add. Green machine juice is a healthy go to juice too. A big hit is also their ham and cheese sandwich with a roasted pepper spread. It's a simple sandwich they make on crust less white bread and placed in ready to go containers. Perfect to pick up to bring to any family gathering.
Went here for a lunch / snack and was perfect for just that. About 1:30pm on a Saturday was not too busy and no wait time. Salads are perfectly portioned and well priced! Their grab and go section also had some fresh options. Dessert i got a donut which was stuffed with caramel, also very satisfying as a slow to eat treat! Overall a great bakery with plenty of seating, not too loud and variety of options for a quick snack.
Really good bakery serving fresh pastries and coffees. With the exception of the cakes all of the pastries are made from the same puff pastry except they are shaped and filled with different creams and glazes. If you like everything puff pastry you will love this place. The puff pastry with the guava topping/filling was my favorite and appears to be the top seller.
I love this bakery ever since they were next door in a smaller venue. Everything is good and at great prices. I highly recommend their cakes for birthdays. Only reason not 5 stars is due to the lack of music playing to have that "cafe ambiance". Also you never see the same staff members so as a customer I care about the worker's turnover. Its nice building that relationship when you go often to a cafe.
For over 5 years I have been coming here and never have I ever been racially profiled by a staff. Being Asian living in a predominantly Latina neighborhood, I have never faced racism by anyone in my neighborhood. Today when going to get our weekly desserts, me and my boyfriend were called to step up to the next available cashier. When standing in from of her, I started telling her what I wanted but she paid no mind to me and only looked and asked my white boyfriend. I told her I was ordering but she didn't bother looking at me and continue asking my boyfriend what he wanted. He kept telling her and pointing at me saying he is going to order. We both knew she spoke English as she was asking him what he wanted to order in English. I felt like I was living a nightmare experiencing such racism from an establishment I frequent quite often and also bring friends and family there. After almost a minute, she decided to take my order. I believe some ethnical training needs to be implemented to this staff member.
Amazing. Finally, a bakery with ambiance, space, free wifi, and good food. Brightly lit. We got there around lunch time and it wasn't busy. There were plenty of indoor seating. There's outdoor seating as well. Cannot wait to come back! Grilled cheese 4/5 Milanese 4/5 needs some spice like a hot pepper Spinach puff 3/5 Fruit tart 4/5 Beef Empanada 5/5 Every staff is attentive and helpful. Parking is a little difficult. The street parking in front is hard to find. There's a free lot in the back though.

On my first visit to Buenos Aires, I was shocked by the ubiquity of dulce de leche in every single sweet shop and beyond. I have fine memories of walking through the streets of Recoleta and Palermo at night in search of a quality alfajore, or mornings started with a dulce-filled medialuna and a coffee. This very good Argentine bakery took me back to those days, with a delicious chocolate-encased alfajore paired with a cortado and a crispy churro filled with dulce. For a savory bite, the cheese and spinach empanadas were tasty, if a bit salty. They were both baked, as is the typical style within B.A. city limits. read more

Dulce De Leche offers wonderful sweet and savory options! I especially like their baked empanadas. And last night I got to try their tiramisu cake- very good! The bakery itself is spacious, cheery with plenty of seating. And the staff is always welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend Dulce De Leche! read more

This is the cutest cafe! Everything was clean and the baristas/service was so friendly and fast. I recommend stopping by for a quick breakfast, a delicious coffee, cute pastry, or a beautiful cake. I highly recommend an iced mocha with the avocado toast for breakfast/brunch time :) read more

West New York, NJ // Neighborhood staple! Cakes and pastries are fresh daily but the guava and cheese croissant is top notch! Service is always great and space is always clean. I prefer this location versus the one in Central ave as supply usually meet the demand... demand as in my family's frequent big orders. lol! read more
Good size bakery. So many options of lunch and pastries. Everything looked so good i wanted to try everything. Gets very busy. We tried the Alfajores was very tasty and fluffy. The coconut dulce de leche cake was so good, not too sweet. And a pastry of dulce de leche. We finished with an expresso. This place was amazing I definitely recommend everyone try this spot. I've been coming here for almost a decade and always bought their mini pastries even though they cost me a fortune when I was younger haha. You gotta get their pastries and cafe drinks. The only down side is parking. Good luck! I came here a few days ago and totally forgot they had mini pastries so I ordered their regular size one. After I paid, I realized that they sell mini pastries past the register :( Man, they got me good!! Talk about guilty pleasures!! They're breakfast sandwiches are also yummy and don't leave you bloated!! And their quiches are huge for $4 & change. read more

This bakery is by-far one of my favorites in the area. They have a great variety of baked goods, cakes, deserts and serve breakfast/lunch items (now to-go due to the current situation). No matter which day of the week or time of the day you visit, they always have a good amount of visitors and if they surpass the amount of people indoors waiting to pick-up or take-out orders, there's a designated line outside for waiting. My favorite items are the dulce de leche cake, the original cake and tiramisu cake. No matter what you try, you'll love it and visit again and again and try other delicious items on their menu. read more

The food here was fantastic! I love the potatoes and the toast, although when my meal first came out, I didn't realize that it was on multigrain toast as It wasn't specified. Luckily the cashier helped me out by allowing the change to white bread just saying that I have to remind them next time. And of course now in the future, I'll know to do that! The croissant was also fantastic, super fresh and very chocolatey but not overly sweet! I came on a Sunday morning and it was pretty busy. It took us about five minutes or so to find a seat as all the tables were full. But we eventually did get seated and the place is cute. Just a little bit small. I would definitely come here again maybe just not on a Sunday morning! read more

Super impressed with this hole in the corner spot. Anything from salty to sweet, from a hearty lunch to a delicious dessert. They also have full size ordered or pre ordered cakes which are delicious. The dulce de leche or cajeta as most people call it is delicious, fresh and not too sweet. It's very clean as they are always picking up the tables and making sure everyone is taken care of. What you expect from a Latin joint, hospitable and friendly staff. This is a family favorite.! read more
I just came from Dulce de Leche in West New York and I have to say, I was nothing short of impressed. The interior is absolutely beautiful and sleek and the display cases highlight their delicious treats. Seeing as it was the first time I was at this location, I asked the cashier what she recommends and gave me some wonderful recommendations, two of which I have shared with my wife. Flaky, yet still a little bit of pull, the pastry was exactly what you would want to have on a cool, fall day. I got her a café de leche which she really enjoyed. I highly recommend people to check this place out. read more

Modern and spacious bakery...came here to pick up dessert for a party. Even though there was a line, it went fairly quickly. Assortment of pastries and cakes and even sandwiches and baked goods. They also serve breakfast too. There is a bitekiosk where you can order coffee, juice or ice cream without a wait but pay with credit card. Decided on the tres leches cake - vanilla cake with bavarian cream, dulce de leche and peach. Very good cake - a little heavy and soaked in dulce de leche. Prices are reasonable for cakes here. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Will come back again to try other cakes and pastries... There is room to sit and eat while there and unisex restrooms are available as well. Hard to find parking outside as it is a busy neighborhood, had to go around once and then double park... read more
Spacious bakery with very polite staff. A good amount of seatings and plenty of goodies to choose from the menu. I tried the Chicken Salad Sandwich which was delicious, I asked for it to be warmed up and it gave it a great touch. I now have a new bakery in the area to indulge. read more
