Leaving this review solely on the sub I purchased. Was mid day on a Saturday and made a quick walk in while I waited for the bus. I purchased a mortadella sub and was not told until i paid that every topping like tomato and arugula was +1$ , nothing crazy but when a place doesn't post prices it sets for a bad review for me. Now the sub itself... unfortunately reviews right before me are true, the bread was so hard it left my mouth sore from trying to chew. We are regulars at Vito's and have been for quite some time. We rely heavily on Vito's to purchase freshly-made cakes for special occasions. You cannot go wrong with any of the cakes from this bakery. They are flavorful, have great fillings and toppings, and are well-made. We have never had a bad experience with any of them. The staff here are welcoming and kind every time we visit. They are also very helpful and accommodating. The store is clean and well-kept. All items are organized well. Recommended! read more

Terrible. I just left the bakery, I was in a rush for lunch and wanted a sandwich. Charged me $13 for a sandwich with bread so hard it could've cracked my teeth and I'm 25. She also added all the fixings on my sandwich on a bare stainless steel table, (no base sheet). I thought that wouldn't be an issue if the sandwich is good but worst sub I ever had. read more

Since my first few visits to this place I had to drop a star because of just one person.. There is this one older lady who just seems absolutely miserable to be there, at least any time I go in (try to avoid her). Vito's Napoleon's are hands down the best I've ever had, and that is from a guy who grew up on Long Island. Their Lobster tails filled with cannoli cream... fantastic too. There pinoli nut cookies are perfect. To be honest, their assorted Italian cookies are just average, otherwise I give them 5 stars. Again, Napoleons by themselves are worth the trip. read more

The people working there were kind and helpful. The location was a small and quaint location. I got a turkey cookie and a strawberry mousse cheesecake. That cookie was a jive azz turkey, it was so dry. The cheesecake was also so dry even the little strawberry on top was too. We walked in to get a birthday cake to surprise my son-in-law at work. There was a good selection of cakes that were ready to go to choose from. The counter staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. We got a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting. My son-in-law and his co-workers all said the cake was fresh and really good. Yay!! My experience was only okay. Personally, I find bakeries with signage really helpful, and this place only had a few (maybe a third) of their products labelled with what they were and no sign prices anywhere. This isn't unique to Vito's, but I prefer bakeries with more informational signs so I don't have to ask (what's that/how much?) for like 10 different options once I reach the counter and all that information can be provided while I'm waiting in line so I don't hold it up. My friend got a red velvet cookie, but there was only one, so I didn't get one as well. I got a cheese puff which was very crunchy and had very little cheese filling. My friend popped his in the microwave for a few seconds to heat it up/make it softer. Some people may prefer crunchy baked goods, but if I'm going to a bakery, I want that soft, right out of the oven taste. These items didn't taste any different from what you'd get a grocery store that's been sitting out all day. The plaza is pretty crowded, but I've never had an issue getting a parking lot (even though it's usually pretty full). Their cakes looked nice though. I picked up a "double" chocolate cake for my wife's birthday, and it should've been called a quadruple chocolate cake!!! Moist chocolate cake, chocolate pudding between the layers, covered all over in a very light (whipped I believe), milk chocolate icing, and then the whole cake had a dark chocolate shell! This Place is gross! While eating a cannoli cream puff guess what I discovered in my mouth!!! A piece of human nail. I almost vomited. When I said something I was called a liar and told it was my own nail and not theirs. Watch out patrons. The manager is a nasty woman , i ordered pastries on line for 11/22 the day before thanksgiving , the minute i placed the order i recieved a text from vitos bakery/door dash informing me my delivery will be arriving 11/20 instead of 11/22.on their website is a phone #to call and it specifys call this # to cancel your order, i called imediatly , no one answered, i left two voice mails , now this is five min after the order was placed . I also called in the morning 7am and spoke to a worker who said she will notify her manager to call me back and adress the situation . She called me back and said dont worry. The order was still delivered on the 20th . She called me back again and said u placed your order on the 20th i am reading it right now , if u have a problem with the delivery call door dash enjoy the pastries. I advise anyone do not do business with these people , very unprofessional , they do not know how to satify their customers . The manager does not let u get a word in she just keeps talking and talking . Do not do business with them . No curtosey and they dont appreciate Your business.It gets even better, heres a pic of my order and heres what they send me. I recently purchased pastries at this bakery ,When i got home to my suprise there was a long hair in one of the pastries, i went back to the store opened the box and showed the woman, she said that was my hair and refused to take back the pastries and return my money. I asked to speak to a manager and she stated that she was the manager as i walked out i noticed mouse droppings in one corner of the store , had i noticed this when i walked in i would have left . Do not sleep on Vito's! The pastries and other baked items are always fresh, look/smell amazing and taste even better! In addition to the bakery, they also offer plenty of sandwich options for lunch. The bread is always baked fresh and they pile on the meat and cheese. Sandwiches also include a drink and are reasonably priced! read more

I went to Vito's bakery yesterday afternoon around 1:45pm. I've driven past this bakery a couple of times before and decided to stop in and give it a try. Unfortunately, after the customer service I experience, I will definitely not be coming back. There was a gentleman behind the counter taking my order (Maybe around his 50s) . I saw a cake with purple frosting and I asked him if the cake frosting was a certain flavor since it was purple. I've been to bakeries before where they had a purple frosted cake and the flavor was an Ube(purple potato) frosted cake-which is quite popular. The response I received from this staff member was a very rude and condescending remark of "Let me fill you in, it's dye." I've never been to this bakery before, so I should be allowed to aske questions about the pastries without getting a sarcastic response. I should of just left without buying anything after the customer service I received, because the small carrot cake I bought was bland and the sausage bread has some hair on it when I unwrapped it. This bakery started popping up on my ig feed and i had to check it out. Its super close to my gym (thank god) so i dropped in on a weekend morning. They have a full italian bakery and a deli counter and they also sell some pantry and grocery items. I was salivating the second i walked in. I wanted to try a basic sandwich so i just got ham mutz and pesto on a soft roll (my goto). The bread and mozzerella was suuper fresh. You cant go wrong w this place. We were extremely disappointed of the quality of the product. Quite dry and not creamy at all. Brutal for a cheese cake. One of the tiniest bakeries you will step foot in, but don't let that fool you. Vito's offered everything from cookies and cakes to deli meats, cheeses, Stromboli, Focaccia pies and so much more! Purchased yesterday morning a danish walnut ring to bring over to a friend's home for mid-afternoon coffee break. Well the walnut ring was dry, tasteless and got thrown out. I have not been on site but plan on going soon based on the quality of baked goods that my sis brought for Thanksgiving. Pecan pie was one of the best I have had. Apple pie with crumbled topping ... outstanding. She also brought a broccoli focaccia and an eggplant focaccia plus an assortment of pastries (Napoleon, lobster tail, Italian cheesecake,cookies). This has to be the worst cake I ever had. It tasted very old like it's been sitting on display for days . The frosting was very overwhelming , there was more frosting than there was cake . I also think it's over priced , a small cake was $27. It was a waste , it got dumped in the garbage , no one wanted to eat it at the birthday. I couldn't even get through my slice .
